The effect of sodium benzoate and sodium chloride on the aggregation behavior of PEO-PPO-ph-PPO-PEO (BPE) and PPO-PEO-ph-PEO-PPO (BEP) polyethers at the air/water interface was investigated by measuring the equilibrium surface tension, surface dilational viscoelasticity, and surface tension relaxation. The measurements of surface tension showed that sodium benzoate has a better effect on decreasing the surface tension of BPE and BEP solutions than NaCl, especially when the polyether concentrations are low. According to dilational viscoelasticity measurements, the concentration of BPE required for the maximum dilational modulus is lower than that of BEP, indicating that BPE more easily forms a compact adsorbed layer. The dilational modulus values of BPE solutions in the presence of sodium benzoate and NaCl first increase and then decrease after passing through a maximum, and then they increase again with increasing electrolyte concentration. On the other hand, the dilational modulus values of BEP solutions in the presence of sodium benzoate and NaCl first increase to a maximum and then decrease with increasing electrolyte concentration. The surface tension relaxation results are consistent with those of dilational viscoelasticity. The different effects of sodium benzoate and NaCl on the polyether aggregation behaviors are caused by the strong hydrophobic and π-π interactions between polyethers and sodium benzoate. Polyurethane composite made from biaxially drawn ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (BDUHMWPE) is likely an alternative for polyurethane currently being plagued for medical applications. In this study, an in vitro calcification protocol was used to determine the relative resistance to calcification of the composite membranes. The results demonstrated that the composite membranes were susceptible to extrinsic calcification that was closely related to the matrix polyurethane material used. The calcification of the composite was different from that of the solution cast polyurethane membranes. The incorporation of hydrophobic reinforcement BDUHMWPE effectively postponed the calcification. The differences of calcification between composite and polyurethane were greatly due to the differences in surface structures and properties of the as-cast polyurethane. 相似文献

在碳纤维 (DF) 内加入聚醚砜 (PES) 树脂法, 利用真空辅助成型 (VARI) 工艺制备得到改性复合材料, 研究真空成型压力参数对汽车用DF增强PES树脂材料力学性能和拉伸断面的影响。研究结果表明:相对于改性前的PES树脂材料拉伸强度, 经过0.1、0.25与0.5 MPa处理得到的改性复合材料在拉伸强度方面依次提升了17.36%、41.39%与29.54%;拉伸模量依次提升1.61%、19.35%与10.48%。相对于原始纤维, 经过改性形成了更加粗糙的表面结构, 使纤维与树脂可以发生更加紧密的结合, 经过改性的PES树脂材料形成的断口具有明显的韧性断裂特点。在0.25 MPa下得到的改性PES树脂材料形成了明显断口结构, 此时的试样获得了最优的拉伸强度与模量。 相似文献

A crosslinked polyether network was prepared from poly(ethylene glycol) diglycidyl ether (PEGDE) cured with poly(propylene oxide) polyamine. Significant interactions between ions and polymer host have been observed for the crosslinked polyether network in the presence of LiClO4 by means of FT-IR, DSC, TGA, and 7Li MAS solid-state NMR. Thermal stability and ionic conductivity of these complexes were also investigated by TGA and AC impedance measurements. The results of FT-IR, DSC, TGA and 7Li MAS solid-state NMR measurements indicate the formation of different types of complexes through the interaction of ions with different coordination sites of polymer electrolyte networks. The dependence of ionic conductivity was investigated as a function of temperature, LiClO4 concentration and the molecular weight of polyether curing agents. It is observed that the behavior of ion transport follows the empirical Vogel-Tamman-Fulcher (VTF) type relationship for all the samples, implying the diffusion of charge carrier is assisted by the segmental motions of polymer chains. Moreover, the conductivity is also correlated with the interactions between ions and polymer host, and the maximum ionic conductivity occurs at the LiClO4 concentration of [O]/[Li+]=15. 相似文献
