Hypersonic vehicles (HSVs) offer great advantages over airplanes and satellites, owing to their hypersonic speeds and flexible trajectories. However, HSV-borne radar may suffer from performance degradation if traditional target integration methods with stop-and-go (SAG) approximation are applied; this is especially true for high resolution radar and applications that utilize long-time coherent integration. In this paper, we consider the effects of moving-in-pulse duration (MPD) to derive an HSV-borne radar signal model without SAG approximation by specifically characterizing platform motion during the transmission and reception of a pulse. An explicit formula for wavenumber domain echo is derived using the 2-D joint stationary phase method. To mitigate the pulse-dependent echo distortion induced by the MPD effect, a target integration method based on the omega-K algorithm is proposed; this method employs revised filters for bulk focusing and revised Stolt interpolation for differential focusing to improve the overall focusing quality. The paper discusses the ambiguity functions of in-range MPD echo models, and describes the performance metrics for the integration results in both dimensions, including impulse response width (IRW), peak sidelobe ratio (PSLR), and integrated sidelobe ratio (ISLR). Simulation results have verified the effectiveness of the proposed method in MPD circumstances.  相似文献

Internet of Things (IoT), one of the key research topics in recent years, together with concepts from Fog Computing, brings rapid advancements in Smart City, Monitoring Systems, industrial control, transportation and other fields. These applications require a reconfigurable sensor architecture that can span multiple scenarios, devices and use cases that allow storage, networking and computational resources to be efficiently used on the edge of the network. There are a number of platforms and gateway architectures that have been proposed to manage these components and enable application deployment. These approaches lack horizontal integration between multiple providers as well as higher order functionalities like load balancing and clustering. This is partly due to the strongly coupled nature of the deployed applications, a lack of abstraction of device communication layers as well as a lock-in for communication protocols. This limitation is a major obstacle for the development of a protocol agnostic application environment that allows for single application to be migrated and to work with multiple peripheral devices with varying protocols from different local gateways. This research looks at existing platforms and their shortcomings as well as proposes a messaging based modular gateway platform that enables clustering of gateways and the abstraction of peripheral communication protocol details. These novelties allow applications to send and receive messages regardless of their deployment location and destination device protocol, creating a more uniform development environment. Furthermore, it results in a more streamlined application development and testing while providing more efficient use of the gateway’s resources. Our evaluation of a prototype for the system shows the need for the migration of resources and the QoS advantages of such a system. The examined use case scenarios show that clustering proves to be an advantage in certain use cases as well as presenting the deployment of a larger testing and control environment through the platform.  相似文献

Both data files can be read in using the -f usage option. To do this, the original energy file should be renamed and saved (e.g., ENERGY_BB.DAT) and the new file (ENERGY_GW.DAT ) should be duplicated as ENERGY.DAT to be read in using the -f option. Similarly for reading in an alternate FLOURE.DAT file. As with previous versions, the user can also simply input different values of any input quantity by invoking the “specify your own parameters” option from the main menu. You can also use this option to simply check the values of the built-in values of the parameters. If it still happens that a zero binding energy for a particular sub-shell is read in, the program will not completely abort, but will calculate results for the other sub-shells while setting the affected sub-shell output to zero. In calculating the Coulomb deflection factor, if the quantity inside the radical sign of the parameter zs becomes zero or negative, to prevent the program from aborting, the PWBA cross sections are still calculated while the ECPSSR cross sections are set to zero. This situation can happen for very low energy collisions, such as were noticed for helium ions on copper at energies of E?11.2 keV. It was observed during the engineering of ISICSoo [1] that erroneous calculations could result for the L- and M-shell cases when restricted K-shell R or HSR scaling options were inappropriately chosen. The program has now been fixed so that these inappropriate options are ignored for the L and M shells. In the previous versions, the usage for inputting a batch data file was incorrectly stated in the Users Manual as -Bxxx; the correct designation is -Fxxx, or alternatively, -Ixxx, as indicated on the usage screen in running the program.A revised Users Manual is also available.Restrictions: The consumed CPU time increases with the atomic shell (K, L, M), but execution is still very fast.Running time: This depends on which shell and the number of different energies to be used in the calculation. Practical and financial constraints associated with traditional field-based lithological mapping are often responsible for the generation of maps with insufficient detail and inaccurately located contacts. In arid areas with well exposed rocks and soils, high-resolution multi- and hyperspectral imagery is a valuable mapping aid as lithological units can be readily discriminated and mapped by automatically matching image pixel spectra to a set of reference spectra. However, the use of spectral imagery in all but the most barren terrain is problematic because just small amounts of vegetation cover can obscure or mask the spectra of underlying geological substrates. The use of ancillary information may help to improve lithological discrimination, especially where geobotanical relationships are absent or where distinct lithologies exhibit inherent spectral similarity. This study assesses the efficacy of airborne multispectral imagery for detailed lithological mapping in a vegetated section of the Troodos ophiolite (Cyprus), and investigates whether the mapping performance can be enhanced through the integration of LiDAR-derived topographic data. In each case, a number of algorithms involving different combinations of input variables and classification routine were employed to maximise the mapping performance. Despite the potential problems posed by vegetation cover, geobotanical associations aided the generation of a lithological map - with a satisfactory overall accuracy of 65.5% and Kappa of 0.54 - using only spectral information. Moreover, owing to the correlation between topography and lithology in the study area, the integration of LiDAR-derived topographic variables led to significant improvements of up to 22.5% in the overall mapping accuracy compared to spectral-only approaches. The improvements were found to be considerably greater for algorithms involving classification with an artificial neural network (the Kohonen Self-Organizing Map) than the parametric Maximum Likelihood Classifier. The results of this study demonstrate the enhanced capability of data integration for detailed lithological mapping in areas where spectral discrimination is complicated by the presence of vegetation or inherent spectral similarities.  相似文献

Radiation-induced soft error has become an emerging reliability threat to high performance microprocessor design. As the size of on chip cache memory steadily increased for the past decades, resilient techniques against soft errors in cache are becoming increasingly important for processor reliability. However, conventional soft error resilient techniques have significantly increased the access latency and energy consumption in cache memory, thereby resulting in undesirable performance and energy efficiency degradation. The emerging 3D integration technology provides an attractive advantage, as the 3D microarchitecture exhibits heterogeneous soft error resilient characteristics due to the shielding effect of die stacking. Moreover, the 3D shielding effect can offer several inner dies that are inherently invulnerable to soft error, as they are implicitly protected by the outer dies. To exploit the invulnerability benefit, we propose a soft error resilient 3D cache architecture, in which data blocks on the soft error invulnerable dies have no protection against soft error, therefore, access to the data block on the soft error invulnerable die incurs a considerably reduced access latency and energy. Furthermore, we propose to maximize the access on the soft error invulnerable dies by dynamically moving data blocks among different dies, thereby achieving further performance and energy efficiency improvement. Simulation results show that the proposed 3D cache architecture can reduce the power consumption by up to 65% for the L1 instruction cache, 60% for the L1 data cache and 20% for the L2 cache, respectively. In general, the overall IPC performance can be improved by 5% on average.  相似文献

Schema integration aims to create a mediated schema as a unified representation of existing heterogeneous sources sharing a common application domain. These sources have been increasingly written in XML due to its versatility and expressive power. Unfortunately, these sources often use different elements and structures to express the same concepts and relations, thus causing substantial semantic and structural conflicts. Such a challenge impedes the creation of high-quality mediated schemas and has not been adequately addressed by existing integration methods. In this paper, we propose a novel method, named XINTOR, for automating the integration of heterogeneous schemas. Given a set of XML sources and a set of correspondences between the source schemas, our method aims to create a complete and minimal mediated schema: it completely captures all of the concepts and relations in the sources without duplication, provided that the concepts do not overlap. Our contributions are fourfold. First, we resolve structural conflicts inherent in the source schemas. Second, we introduce a new statistics-based measure, called path cohesion, for selecting concepts and relations to be a part of the mediated schema. The path cohesion is statistically computed based on multiple path quality dimensions such as average path length and path frequency. Third, we resolve semantic conflicts by augmenting the semantics of similar concepts with context-dependent information. Finally, we propose a novel double-layered mediated schema to retain a wider range of concepts and relations than existing mediated schemas, which are at best either complete or minimal, but not both. Performed on both real and synthetic datasets, our experimental results show that XINTOR outperforms existing methods with respect to (i) the mediated-schema quality using precision, recall, F-measure, and schema minimality; and (ii) the execution performance based on execution time and scale-up performance.  相似文献

Previously we provided two formal behavioural semantics for the Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) in the process algebra CSP. By exploiting CSP’s refinement orderings, developers may formally compare their BPMN models. However, BPMN is not a specification language, and it is difficult and sometimes impossible to use it to construct behavioural properties against which other BPMN models may be verified. This paper considers a pattern-based approach to expressing behavioural properties. We describe a property specification language PL for capturing a generalisation of Dwyer et al.’s Property Specification Patterns, and present a translation from PL into a bounded, positive fragment of linear temporal logic, which can then be automatically translated into CSP for simple refinement checking. We present a detailed example studying the behavioural properties of an airline ticket reservation business process. Using the same example we also describe some recent results on expressing behavioural compatibility within our semantic models. These results lead to a compositional approach for ensuring deadlock freedom of interacting business processes.  相似文献
