A set of Co promoted 10% Mo/Al2O3 samples have been characterized by means of Raman spectroscopy under ambient as well as in situ dehydrated conditions. Under ambient conditions, the degree of the polymerization of surface molybdenum oxide species decreases with increasing Co loading. Under dehydrated conditions, the polymeric molybdenum oxide species is absent with the addition of only 0.2% Co. At low Co loadings (2%), before the formation of CoMoO4 compound, the spectral features are very similar under ambient conditions. Dehydration causes the upward shift of the Mo=O symmetric stretching mode. A broad band around 920–930 cm–1 was thus observed. This band has been suggested to be associated with the Co-Mo interaction species. In contrast to crystalline CoMoO4, this species shows a reversibility on H2 reduction-O2 reoxidation treatments. From the results obtained, it is proposed that cobalt oxide interacts with the most polymerized molybdenum oxide species to form Co-Mo interaction species and/or crystalline CoMoO4; therefore, the amount of the surface molybdenum oxide species decreases with a change in the molecular structure as a function of the Co concentration. 相似文献

The autocorrelation functions and corresponding relaxation times obtained from the forward depolarized quasi-elastic light scattering experiment are exhibited for two quite similar models of flexible polymer chains in solution. A very small change in the chain dynamics is found to be sufficient to change the relaxation time from a relatively short time independent of chain length, with an autocorrelation function suggestive of an unweighted sum of contributions from all the relaxation times in the spectrum of chain motion, to a long time with an autocorrelation function identical with that for the end-to-end vector, strongly dependent upon chain length and dominated by the longest relaxation time in the spectrum. These results raise the question whether widely-used models in which information about short-range chain structure and motion is deliberately omitted can be expected to be appropriate for the interpretation of depolarized scattering experiments. 相似文献

The electrochemical behavior of the bronze (Cu-8Sn in wt%) was investigated in 3% NaCl aqueous solution, in presence and in absence of a corrosion inhibitor, the 3-phenyl-1,2,4-triazole-5-thione (PTS). The inhibiting effect of the PTS was evidenced for concentrations higher than 1 mM for the cathodic process whereas its effect was clearly seen with a concentration as low as 0.1 mM for the anodic process. A significant positive shift of the corrosion potential was also observed, and its inhibiting effect increased with both its concentration and the immersion time of the sample. From voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy experiments, the inhibiting efficiency of the PTS was found to be in the 94-99% range for 1 mM concentration. Scanning electron microscopy and X-ray energy dispersion analysis of the specimen surface show the presence of sulphur on the surface. Raman micro-spectrometry study confirms the protective effect of the PTS in aqueous solution through three types of interactions with the electrode, namely the adsorption of the inhibitor in a flat configuration, the formation of copper-thiol molecules, and when copper is released, the formation of a polymeric complex. 相似文献

We have synthesized double wall carbon nanotubes (DWNTs) with few defects and little amorphous carbon by hot wall chemical vapor deposition (CVD) of alcohol. Catalysts for the DWNT growth were made from cobalt and molybdenum acetates. Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, multi frequency resonance Raman spectroscopy and optical absorption spectroscopy were used for characterization of the product with regard to DWNT yield, the nanotube diameter distribution, defect concentration and amorphous carbon content. Base pressures lower than 1 × 10−5 mbar in the CVD reactor considerably suppress defects in the DWNTs. Optimized growth conditions for DWNT formation are presented. 相似文献

A high-performance liquid chromatographic method is described to determine the sucrose polyester (SPE) content in seven blends
of cooking oils. Four gel-permeation chromatography (GPC) columns were used in series with an evaporative light scattering
mass detector to separate the SPE from the acylglycerols in the final chromatogram. The SPE fraction was collected off the
GPC column and injected onto a reverse-phase C-18 column for quantitation with sucrose octaacetate as an internal standard
and a gradient of nonaqueous solvents as mobile phase. The chromatograms were interference-free, with only two sharp peaks
appearing. The standards were linear from 500 to 5000 μg/mL with a correlation coefficient of r=0.999. The mean percent recovery

Carbon nanotubes prepared by a classical CVD method with a nickel catalyst have been characterized, then used as conducting anisometric objects dispersed into a polymeric matrix. In a first part, these nanotubes are structurally characterized before and after heat treatments (HTT=1500, 2000, 2500 °C). Diffusion Raman experiments and diamagnetic susceptibility experiments demonstrated their limited graphitized structures.Then, in a second step, a well defined processing way to prepare nanocomposites with a standard epoxy resin is presented. In particular, the use or not of a non-ionic surfactant (Tergitol) to disperse these nanotubes is analyzed. The influence of nanotube contents is examined on the bulk nanocomposite density, the glass transition temperature of the nanocomposites, and the d.c. electrical conductivity behavior. These results demonstrated that the interfacial properties are playing a fundamental role. On one hand, the glass transition temperature is increasing with the nanotube content, and on the other hand, the percolation threshold is found for a rather high critical volumic concentration. Finally, it is demonstrated that a pure geometrical model is not sufficient to explain these behaviors and that a wrapping effect of the organic matrix around the nanotubes has to be considered. 相似文献
