In this paper we analyze a ternary reactive distillation system, where an equilibrium chemical reaction occurs in the liquid phase. By using a set of transformed variables proposed by Barbosa el al. (1988b) and well known graphical procedures for non-reactive systems; the minimum reflux ratio, minimum number of equilibrium stages, mass and energy balances for a reactive column and flash can be easily obtained. The procedures developed in this paper are applied to ISOBUTYLENE-METHANOL-MTBE system.
The main objective in developing this model is to obtain, as much as possible, rigorous information for the analysis of one reactive distillation column in a Process Simulator with capability of handling this type of new operation. 相似文献

Decolorization of reactive brilliant red X-3B was studied by using an Fe–Ce oxide hydrate as the heterogeneous catalyst in the presence of H2O2 and UV. The decolorization rate was in the order of UV–Fe–Ce–H2O2 > UV–Fe3+–H2O2 > UV–H2O2 > UV–Fe–Ce ≥ Fe–Ce–H2O2 > Fe–Ce. Under the conditions of 34 mg l−1 H2O2, 0.500 g l−1 Fe–Ce, 36 W UV and pH 3.0, 100 mg l−1 X-3B could be decolorized at efficiency of more than 99% within 30 min. The maximum dissolved Fe during the reaction was 1 mg l−1. From the fact that the decolorization rate of the UV–Fe–Ce–H2O2 system was significantly higher than that of the UV–Fe3+–H2O2 system at Fe3+ = 1 mg l−1, it is clear that the Fe–Ce functioned mainly as an efficient heterogeneous catalyst. UV–vis, its second derivative spectra, and ion chromatography (IC) were employed to investigate the degradation pathway. Fast degradation after adsorption of X-3B is the dominant mechanism in the heterogeneous catalytic oxidation system. The first degradation step is the breaking down of azo and CN bonds, resulting in the formation of the aniline- and phenol-like compounds. Then, the breaking down of the triazine structure occurred together with the transformation of naphthalene rings to multi-substituted benzene, and the cutting off of sulphonic groups from the naphthalene rings. The last step includes further decomposition of the aniline structure and partial mineralization of X-3B. 相似文献

Hydrated calcium zincate was synthesized by mechanical ball milling of ZnO and Ca(OH)2 in water at room temperature. The structural and electrochemical properties of this material used as rechargeable anodic material were examined by microelectrode voltammetry, charge–discharge measurements and structural analysis. The results showed that during mechanical milling, ZnO, Ca(OH)2 and H2O reacted rapidly to form Ca[Zn(OH)3]2 · 2H2O which was subsequently transformed to a stable structure CaZn2(OH)6 · 2H2O. Since this composite oxide has lower solubility in KOH solution (<35 wt %) and better electrochemical reversibility than ZnO-based negative materials, the zinc anodes using this material can overcome the problems of shape changes and dendritc formation, and therefore exhibit improved cycling life. 相似文献

Optimization techniques known as metaheuristics have been applied successfully to solve different problems, in which their development is characterized by the appropriate selection of parameters (values) for its execution. Where the adjustment of a parameter is required, this parameter will be tested until viable results are obtained. Normally, such adjustments are made by the developer deploying the metaheuristic. The quality of the results of a test instance [The term instance is used to refer to the assignment of values to the input variables of a problem.] will not be transferred to the instances that were not tested yet and its feedback may require a slow process of “trial and error” where the algorithm has to be adjusted for a specific application. Within this context of metaheuristics the Reactive Search emerged defending the integration of machine learning within heuristic searches for solving complex optimization problems. Based in the integration that the Reactive Search proposes between machine learning and metaheuristics, emerged the idea of putting Reinforcement Learning, more specifically the Q-learning algorithm with a reactive behavior, to select which local search is the most appropriate in a given time of a search, to succeed another local search that can not improve the current solution in the VNS metaheuristic. Reactive distillations for the production of ethyl acetate (EtAc) and isopropyl acetate (IPAc) are classified as the type-II process where the first column consists of a reactive zone and a rectifying section followed by a stripper [Tang et al., 2005. Design of reactive distillations for acetic acid esterification with different alcohols. A.I.Ch.E. Journal 51, 1683-1699]. Instead of using pure alcohols and acetic acid as reactants, this paper studies the effects of reactant purity on the design and control of reactive distillation. This offers significant economical incentives (by reducing raw materials costs), because ethanol forms an azeotrope with water at 90 mol% and isopropanol/water has an azeotrope at 68%. The purities of the acid is set to 95% for acetic acid (industrial grade), 87% for ethanol, and 65% for isopropanol. The results show that the total annual costs (TAC) increase by a factor of 5% for EtAc and 8% for IPAc production using reactive distillation. Next, the operability of the reactive distillations with azeotrope feeds is explored. Three disturbances, feed flow, acid feed purity, and alcohol feed composition, are introduced to assess control performance using dual-temperature control and one-temperature-one-composition control. Simulation results indicate good control performance can be achieved for reactive distillation with azeotropic feeds. 相似文献

采用直流磁控反应溅射的方法在金属铝基板表面沉积AlN薄膜。通过XRD、SEM对绝缘膜层进行了研究分析,并测试了膜层的介电性能。结果表明:在靶基距和溅射功率分别为5cm、150W,衬底温度在室温25℃~300℃内制备的AlN薄膜为六方晶型,沿c轴平行于衬底表面的(100)和(110)晶面生长。AlN薄膜表面有很多蠕虫状形态的晶粒随机地分布在膜平面内,这可能是200℃的衬底温度下AlN薄膜介电性能较好的原因。 相似文献

In this study, DS5 DK type nanofiltration membranes were tested to recycle the reactive dye bath effluents. Reactive black 5 (RB5), reactive orange 16 (RO16), reactive blue 19 (RB19) and NaCl were used in the experiments to prepare the synthetic dye and salt mixtures. Effects of feed concentration, pressure and cross flow velocity on the permeate flux and color removal were investigated. Permeate flux increased with increasing pressure for all NaCl solutions. Dye concentration had a significant effect on flux values. Under the fixed NaCl concentrations the flux decreased with increasing dye concentrations. Dye rejections greater than 99% were achieved. Permeate was almost colorless. A gel layer formed by the rejected dye on membrane surface operates as a resistance to the permeation of dyes due to complete rejection of high molecule weight dyes, especially for the low salt concentrations. The presence of salt concentration has an interesting effect on color removal. Color removal decreased with increasing salt concentration. Cross flow velocities had also a significant effect on flux values. The dye formed agglomerates at high NaCl concentrations. High cross flow velocities decreased this effect. 相似文献
