Multivariate statistical monitoring of an industrial SBR process. Soft-sensor for production and rubber quality

This work presents a full methodology to build and evaluate a soft sensor capable of monitoring the production of Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR) in an industrial train of 7 continuously-stirred tank reactors. The aim is to develop a device for on-line estimation of production and quality variables using a multivariate statistical technique like partial least squared (PLS). Besides pursuing the soft sensor development, this paper attempts to provide a guide for similar developments by suggesting attention to several specific methodological points. In this regard, the following features are highlighted: i) since a wide range validation space is desired for this sensor and the actual plant cannot be arbitrarily disturbed, an existing complex fundamental model is used to explore different possible operating conditions; ii) the approach used to develop the soft sensor includes a distributed sampling of multivariate steady-state conditions to collect the calibration data set, and the use of a filter for excluding outliers; and iii) it is shown that the analysis of how the explained variability progress when latent variables are included in the model allows the detection of poor predictor variables providing the chance for improving the multivariable regression by eliminating interfering contributions. Few after-modeling techniques are also suggested to confirm the consistency of the calibrating data set and the model precision over the applicability domain.     

神经网络对SBR工艺处理造纸废水建模的研究

本文在实验室条件下研究了SBR工艺对造纸废水的处理效果,利用其中的20组试验数据建立了针对SBR工艺处理造纸废水的BP神经网络模型,并用另外的10组试验数据对神经网络模型进行了验证,验证结果表明神经网络模型输出与实际输出比较接近,说明BP神经网络模型准确性比较高,为进一步实现该工艺的自动控制打下了基础.     

SBR处理草浆中段废水的研究

采用SBR法处理草浆中段废水的试验结果表明:当废水在曝气反应时间为5h,pH值为8左右且容积负荷1.30kgCODCr/(m3·d)时,废水中的有机污染物得到有效降解,CODCr的去除率达到85%以上.

Investigating the effect of the degree of cross-linking in styrene butadiene rubber on the performance of graphite anodes for the use in lithium-ion batteries

Carboxymethyl cellulose/styrene butadiene rubber (CMC/SBR) has been proven to be an effective binder system for the use of graphite anodes within the lithium-ion battery industry. However, often when this system is employed, there is no acknowledgement regarding the specific chemistry of the SBR used. This is an important omission because properties such as glass transition temperatures and tensile strengths are heavily dependent on the ratio of styrene to butadiene content and the degree of cross-linking within the SBR. In this study, we investigate the impact of using styrene butadiene rubbers (SBRs) with different degrees of cross-linking on the performance of graphite anodes. We demonstrate that SBRs with a higher degree of cross-linking provide longer and more stable capacity retentions, than SBRs with a lower degree of cross-linking. This was found to correlate with the adhesion and cohesion strengths of the electrode coatings, and the degree of electrolyte swelling the SBRs systems undertook. Overall, the findings from this study indicate that the degree of cross-linking within the SBR impacts the overall performance of the battery.     

溶聚丁苯橡胶在轮胎胎面胶中的应用研究

对溶聚丁苯橡胶（引进西班牙技术制造的ＳＢＲ１２０４）和乳聚丁苯橡胶（国产ＳＢＲ１５００）进行了对比试验。结果表明,与使用ＳＢＲ１５００的胶料相比,使用的ＳＢＲ１２０４的胶料,硫化起步快,硫化速度快;压缩疲劳温升低,压缩永久变形小,老化前后磨耗量稍小;工艺性能正常。在此基础上又用含这两种橡胶的胶料作胎面胶制造了一批试验胎进行实际里程试验,结果证明含ＳＢＲ１２０４的胎面胶制造的轮胎的行驶里程及累计磨耗     

乳化SBS改性沥青和SBR改性乳化沥青对比试验

SBR改性乳化沥青容易生产,低温性能好,是目前公路工程中常用的改性乳化沥青；而乳化SBS改性沥青的高温性能好,更适应炎热地区使用。在实验基础上,对比两种乳化沥青的生产工艺、性能及造价,乳化SBS改性沥青具有良好的推广应用前景。     

丁苯橡胶国内外近况及展望

本文介绍了丁苯橡胶近十年来国内外发展概况和前景。国外的情况是:80年代初SBR产、耗量降至历史最低水平;中期缓慢回升,后期稳定发展;今后将以提高质量和功能为主,稳定地发展产量。我国SBR在80年代获得了很大发展,生产能力已达到20.4万吨/年,今后将随着整个国民经济的发展而发展。
