建于上海浦东国际机场轨道交通站上方的宾馆建筑设计

大众美林阁空港宾馆建于上海浦东国际机场航站区轨道交通站的上方。宾馆沿航站区纵轴线长向布置；建筑体量一分为二，南、北楼以锥形钢结构连接。为与宾馆得天独厚的地理位置和以轨道交通站为基座的建造方式相呼应，设计人员采取了独特的设计手法，并由此创作了令人耳目一新的亮点。     

十年，上海城市发展的破茧之路

Rocker-Lange Architects: Shanghai Lilong Tower Urbanism,Shanghai, China

In Shanghai, rapid urbanisation has made the high-rise the predominant building type – supplanting traditional low-rise row houses. Here Christian J Lange, founding partner of Rocker-Lange Architects, based in Boston and Hong Kong, describes an alternative model for the generic housing tower. By employing a computational adaptable system, dense housing is created that recreates the courtyards and access lanes of the original city through an ingenious use of a podium.
