微机在应变测量中的应用，采用上位机和下位机组合方式．上位机为一台ＩＢＭ－ＰＣ／ＸＴ微机，用于对数据进行后处理．下位机以Ｚ８０－ＣＰＵ为控制器，由传感器、转换器、接口及外设等组成数据采集器，实施对应变、压力和位移等参数的采集、显示和打印（即数据的预处理）．上位机和下位机之间的数据传输，采用串行的方式，通过ＲＳ－２３２接口完成．本文主要以应变的采集处理为例，介绍系统功能、硬件配置及软件设计．

高分辨率勘探是一项系统工程，它由多个环节组成。甚至叠后高发辨率资料处理也是由多个环节组成。本文介绍的叠后高分辨率资料处理流程主要包括Ｌｐ模自适应预测统计反褶积，高频成分补偿，振幅补偿及有色成分校正。文中还就处理流程中各种方法的合理组合，各种方法自身参数的合理选取作了试验和探讨，最后给出了处理实例。     

GENERALIZED INVERSE GROUP OF SIGNAL AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION WITH NEURAL NETWORKS

A new concept, the generalized inverse group (GIG) of signal, is firstly proposed and its properties, leaking coefficients and implementation with neural networks are presented. Theoretical analysis and computational simulation have shown that (1) there is a group of finite length of generalized inverse signals for any given finite signal, which forms the GIG; (2) each inverse group has different leaking coefficients, thus different abnormal states; (3) each GIG can be implemented by a grouped and improved single-layer perceptron which appears with fast convergence. When used in deconvolution, the proposed GIG can form a new parallel finite length of filtering deconvolution method. On off-line processing, the computational time is reduced to O(N) from O(N2). And the less the leaking coefficient is, the more reliable the deconvolution will be.     

DIGITAL PROCESSING OF THE POLARIZATION STATE OF GEOPHYSICAL ULF SIGNALS

In this paper, the evaluation by running window smoothing is used for the digital processing of the polarization of geophysical ULF signals. The observed signals are resolved into two orthogonal complex components so that it is no longer necessary to consider the phase and amplitude of the signals simultaneously.     

Sol-gel processing: A versatile concept for special glasses and ceramics

The various parameters related to sol-gel processing are discussed with special reference to those which usually attract less attention but depending on the final product in mind, can play important roles. The versatility of the sol-gel technique in materials preparation is demonstrated by discussing the various products developed at the author’s laboratory by using this processing method.

对薄板成形应变场传统的测量方法进行了研究。指出了其不足和误差的来源，提出了数字图像分析法测量薄板成形中的应变场，对测量原理，新的测量方法对传统方法的改进，以及如何降低误差进行了介绍，指出数字图像分析法的前景，提出了改进意见。     

XV. Yeast sequencing reports. Isolation and DNA sequence of the STE13 gene encoding dipeptidyl aminopeptidase

We have isolated a mutant which exhibits partial constitutivity for a -specific gene expression in α cells. The wild-type gene was cloned and demonstrated to be allelic to the STE13 gene, which encodes the dipeptidyl aminopeptidase involved in processing of the α-factor prepropheromone. Thus, the mating defect of the ste13 mutations in α cells may result both from the production of incompletely processed α-factor and from the increased expression of a -specific genes. The STE13 open reading frame of 931 amino acids contains a putative membrane-spanning segment near its amino terminus and is 31% identical to a second yeast dipeptidyl aminopeptidase (DAP2). A null mutant of STE13 has been constructed: it is viable and sporulation-proficient. The sequence has been deposited in the GenBank data library under Accession Number L21944.     

Optimizing Thermal Process for Canned White Beans in Water Cascading Retorts

Based on thermal degradation kinetics and heat transfer expressed as the Ball formula method, a simplified approach was used to optimize sterilization processes for thermal softening of white beans (Phaseolus vulgaris, subsp. nanus Metz., variety Manteca de Leon) Constant retort profiles in a still and end-over-end rotary water cascading retort (Barriquand Steriflow) were used. Quality attributes of beans processed at the optimum were evaluated by a trained taste panel and by a tenderometer. Both approaches could distinguish (P<0.01) between attributes of products from optimal rotary and still processes. End-over-end rotation resulted in faster heat penetration and better quality retention of beans. Texture of white beans processed at 4° or 8°C from the optimal temperature could be distinguished (P<0.01) by the sensory panel and by the tenderometer.
