Nowadays, wire-arc spraying of chromium steel has gained an important market share for corrosion and wear protection applications. However, detailed studies are the basis for further process optimization. In order to optimize the process parameters and to evaluate the effects of the spray parameters DoE-based experiments had been carried out with high-speed camera shoots. In this article, the effects of spray current, voltage, and atomizing gas pressure on the particle jet properties, mean particle velocity and mean particle temperature and plume width on X46Cr13 wire are presented using an online process monitoring device. Moreover, the properties of the coatings concerning the morphology, composition and phase formation were subject of the investigations using SEM, EDX, and XRD-analysis. These deep investigations allow a defined verification of the influence of process parameters on spray plume and coating properties and are the basis for further process optimization. This article is an invited paper selected from presentations at the 2007 International Thermal Spray Conference and has been expanded from the original presentation. An unknown red dye was discovered in a sumac spice sample during routine analysis for Sudan dyes. LC-DAD and LC-MS/MS did not reveal the identity of the red substance. Nevertheless, using LC-high-resolution MS and isotope ratio comparisons the structure was identified as Basic Red 46. The identity of the dye was further confirmed by comparison with a commercial hair-staining product and two textile dye formulations containing Basic Red 46. Analogous to the Sudan dyes, Basic Red 46 is an azo dye. However, some of the sample clean-up methodology utilised for the analysis of Sudan dyes in food prevents its successful detection. In contrast to the Sudan dyes, Basic Red 46 is a cation. Its cationic properties make it bind strongly to gel permeation columns and silica solid-phase extraction cartridges and prevent elution with standard eluents. This is the first report of Basic Red 46 in food. The structure elucidation of this compound as well as the disadvantages of analytical methods focusing on a narrow group of targeted analytes are discussed.  相似文献

FF-46是抚顺石油化工研究院开发的高活性加氢处理催化剂,该催化剂具有较高的脱硫、脱氮活性,工业运转后的催化剂经再生后同样具有较好的活性。主要介绍FF-46再生催化剂在扬子石化航煤加氢装置的使用情况。从催化剂选型、装填、活化、航煤初期生产情况、经济效益等几个方面做出了分析,证明FF-46再生催化剂可用于航煤加氢装置,在航煤产品质量达到国标要求的前提下,既使FF-46再生催化剂得到充分合理利用,又大幅度节省新催化剂采购费用,并拓宽了加氢裂化预处理催化剂再生后的使用范围。  相似文献

The melt-texture growth (MTG) method has been shown to be effective in fabricating high-T csuperconducting bulk samples with highly oriented layers of single crystals. The critical current densityJ cof the typical samples are enhanced significantly. Furthermore, making use of the nonzero spatial temperature gradient at certain locations of a common tube furnace, we fabricated Y-123 bulk samples with various dopants allowingJ cup to 3.0×104 A cm–2 in our recent investigations. We followed up our project by analyzing the relations among the crucial parameters involved in the modified version of the MTG process. These parameters include the temperature gradient, the time rate of change of temperature, the growth front of the crystal, etc. Our study indicates that some of the empty space regions that appear between layers are only shallow gap lines. True layers of single crystals do exist, and we present an explanation for the growth of crystal layers along special directions as observed.  相似文献
