Sky blue,but what blue? A new evaluation of the colors of the sky for artists and designers

This study describes a process of relating the perceptual analysis of the colors of the terrestrial atmosphere to currently available pigments used in artists' painting systems. This process sought to discover how the colors of the sky could be defined and simulated by these pigments. The author also describes how confusion over the bewildering choice of suitable pigments on offer in the market place can be clarified. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Effects of luminance,wavelength and purity on the color attributes: Brief review with new data and perspectives

A color stimulus may be characterized by three psychophysical dimensions (luminance, dominant wavelength, and purity), whose corresponding color attributes are lightness, hue, and chroma/colorfulness. The 3 × 3 matrix gives nine basic effects of the psychophysical dimensions on the color attributes (e.g. the effect of luminance on hue), but there are 49 possible combinations as more complex effects (e.g. the effect of luminance on hue and chroma, i.e. on chromaticity). Researching and quantifying such effects enables modelling of the underlying neural mechanisms and of color appearance. Using a simple nomenclature to identify the effects (e.g. Ph denotes the effect of Purity on hue), this paper briefly reviews and interrelates 15 of the commonest effects, giving new data or new graphical perspectives to clarify or fill gaps in the literature. 一种基于稳健匹配准则的视频文本跟踪方法

本文首先根据文本中各个字符的颜色相似的特性,确定已知文本块的文本的颜色,利用文本的颜色信息二值化文本图像以得到文本块中的字符数、字符的尺寸和间距;其次,根据视频图像的大小和视频的播放速度确定搜索窗口的大小,并利用文本的运动信息来预测搜索窗口的位置;第三,根据在相邻两帧中具有相同内容文本的颜色相似的特性,提出了一个可以解决脉冲噪声和部分缺损或遮挡问题的稳健匹配准则来跟踪文本块;最后,确定跟踪输出的文本的颜色、尺寸和运动方式。本文方法可以很好地跟踪平移、缩小或放大、旋转、淡入淡出和部分被遮挡的水平或倾斜排列的文本,并且可以记录文本平移、旋转和缩放的速度。     

The Effect of Post-Cooking Holding Times on Sensory Assessment of Low- and High-Fat Beefburgers

ABSTRACT: The effect of post-cooking holding-time on sensory assessment of low (89 g/kg) and high (218 g/kg) fat beefburgers was assessed. Burgers were served to panelists approximately 3 or 18 min after cooking. Fat content influenced fattiness, moistness/juiciness and overall appearance (P < 0.05), overall acceptability and overall texture (P< 0.01) and tenderness and crumbliness (p<0.001). Burgers with the higher fat content had higher scores. Holding-time influenced sensory overall appearance only with lower scores at extended holding times (P < 0.01). Treatment differences were small, mostly less than one sensory scale unit. Higher lightness and yellowness values were found for burgers with higher fat contents.     

利用鱼眼照片恢复景物的深度信息

通过照片获取深度信息的技术已经研究多年，也产生了各种算法，但这些算法或者需要一张以上的照片来计算，或者运算量比较大。此外，它们的共同点是：各种方法采用的照片是用普通镜头拍摄的。笔者给出一种新的方法：利用一张鱼眼镜头照片和少量的辅助手段来获取深度信息。建立了一种简便而又准确的辅助手段，从而可以构造景物的三维框架，最终可以实现在景物内的任意位置向任意方向进行虚拟浏览。     

LiF晶体中F+,/sup>2色心在室温下的激光运转及可调谐输出

本文把纯LiF晶体中色心激光宽带输出的转换效率提高到11%，得到了心激光的宽带输出与温度的变化曲线。实现了色心激光的波长从0.86～1.02 μm的可调谐输出，并对泵浦光作用下LiF晶体中的各种色心动力学机制进行了分析。     

内燃机车曲轴中频淬火过程的数值模拟

借助 ANSYS大型有限元分析软件 ,实现了 16 V2 4 0曲轴淬火过程的计算机模拟 ,模拟结果可直观地显示出任一时刻曲轴表面及内部的温度分布、冷却曲线以及淬火结束后的残余应力分布 ,并能预测淬硬层深度。同时对比了轴颈内圆角处进行淬火和不进行淬火两种工艺的效果 ,为现场提供了用虚拟现实方法详尽分析和研究淬火工艺的工具。
