A new type of high photosensitive azo functional polymers was synthesized and characterized by viscometry, infrared (IR) spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. Xerographic properties were determined in bilayer devices. Results show that azo polymers have high photosensitivity resulting from the high electronic mobility (AP-1 and AP-3) and a high charge transfer (AP-4). The study of spectral responses indicates that these polymers exhibit good xerographic properties in visible region, and AP-1 also has high photosensitivity in the near-IR region. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. The kinetics of photochemical polymerization of styrene (St) and methyl methacrylate (MMA) using a binary initiation system composed of poly(ethylene oxide) with an aniline end group (PEOa) and benzophenone (BP) was investigated by a modified dilatometer. The effect of the concentration of the monomer, BP and PEOa, and of the molecular weight of PEOa on the polymerization rate (Rp) and conversion of monomers is discussed in detail. The formulas of Rp ∝︁ [PEOa]0.38 [St]0.33 [BP]0.56 and Rp ∝︁ [PEOa]0.36 [MMA]0.30 [BP]0.54 using benzene as a solvent are derived when the molecular weight of PEO is 11,000 (PEOa — 11,000). Compared with the small aminophenol (AP), there existed a critical PEOa concentration to affect the Rp and conversion of the monomers and the critical concentration is strongly dependent on the polarity of the solvents and molecular weight of PEOa. It is confirmed that in the same conditions the solution polymerization behavior of St and MMA initiated by the imino radical of PEO would not be affected by the properties of the second block although PMMA is miscible and PS is immiscible with PEOa in the bulk. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Polymer composites based on charge-transfer complex of phenothiazine and iodine with polystyrene have been prepared in different
weight ratios and characterized by FTIR, XRD, mechanical, microstructure and electrical properties (d.c. as well as a.c.).
These composites show semiconducting behaviour as the conductivity increases with increasing temperature. Low percolation

A new hybrid local and charge transfer (HLCT) molecule 2TPA-PPI is obtained for constructing the high-performance organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) in this work. 2TPA-PPI possesses the sufficient emission/charge-transporting properties, thus it is used as a neat emitter achieving an efficient deep-blue OLED with very high external quantum efficiency (EQE) up to 10.7%, as well as a multi-functional emitting host matrix constructing the high-performance phosphorescent OLEDs. More importantly, a high-efficiency candle light-style OLED adopting the HLCT/phosphor hybrid strategy is realized, where 2TPA-PPI acts as not only a blue emitter, but also a universal host sensitizing both yellow and red phosphors. This quasi-white OLED represents almost the highest EQE/PE level of 25.2%/49.7 lm W−1 at the practical luminance level of 1000 cd m−2 for the white OLEDs with the excellent color rendering index values of more than 80 reported. 相似文献

Multiferroic charge-transfer crystals have drawn significant interest due to their simultaneous dipolar and spin ordering. Numerous theoretical and experimental studies have shown that the molecular stacking between donor and acceptor complexes plays an important role in tuning charge-transfer enabled multifunctionality. Herein, we show that the charge-transfer interactions can be controlled by the segregated stack, consisting of polythiophene donor- and fullerene acceptor-based all-conjugated block copolymers. Room temperature magnetic field effects, ferroelectricity, and anisotropic magnetism are observed in charge-transfer crystals, which can be further controlled by photoexcitation and charge doping. Furthermore, the charge-transfer segregated stack crystals demonstrate external stimuli controlled polarization and magnetization, which opens up their multifunctional applications for all-organic multiferroics. 相似文献
