We investigated the influence of preparative conditions of cholesteric-liquid-crystal (CLC) solid films on their cholesteric structures. They are made of poly[γ-butyl-
(or
)-glutamate] (PBuL(D)G and triethylene glycol dimethacrylate (TGDM), and have the ability to reflect the light in a specified wavelength region. When these films were combined with conventional colour filters, the colour reproduction region was enlarged by about 25% in the area of the CIE chromaticity diagram. 相似文献

A general procedure for arriving at 3-D models of disulphidericholypeptide systems based on the covalent cross-link constraintshas been developed. The procedure, which has been coded as acomputer program, RANMOD, assigns a large number of random,permitted backbone conformations to the polypeptide and identifiesstereochemically acceptable structures as plausible models basedon strainless disulphide bridge modelling. Disulphide bond modellingis performed using the procedure MODIP developed earlier, inconnection with the choice of suitable sites where disulphidebonds could be engineered in proteins (Sowdhamini,R., Srinivasan,N.,Shoichet,B., Santi,D.V., Ramakrishnan,C. and Balaram,P. (1989)Protein Engng, 3, 95-103). The method RANMOD has been testedon small disulphide loops and the structures compared againstpreferred backbone conformations derived from an analysis ofputative disulphide subdatabase and model calculations. RANMODhas been applied to disulphiderich peptides and found to giverise to several stereochemically acceptable structures. Theresults obtained on the modelling of two test cases, a-conotoxinGI and endothelin I, are presented. Available NMR data suggestthat such small systems exhibit conformational heterogeneityin solution. Multi‐responsive hydrogels have recently received considerable attention for bioapplications. Here, novel temperature‐ and redox‐responsive polypetide hydrogels have been developed. Thermo‐sensitive hydrogels based on poly(ethyleneglycol)‐block ‐poly(γ‐propargyl‐l ‐glutamate) (PEG‐PPLG ) were first synthesized by the ring opening polymerization of γ‐propargyl‐l ‐glutamate N ‐carboxyanhydride (PLG‐NCA ) with amino group terminated PEG monomethyl ether (mPEG‐NH2 ) as macroinitiator and were then functionalized via the ‘thiol‐yne’ click reaction between the propargyl pendents and the thiol‐containing 1‐propanethiol. The sol ? gel phase transition of the obtained copolymer aqueous solution in response to temperature change was studied. The mass loss of the hydrogel in vitro was accelerated in the presence of H2O2 , exhibiting a redox‐responsive property. Further, the methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium viability results revealed that this polypetide hydrogel has excellent biocompatibility, presenting potential applications in the biomedical field. © 2016 Society of Chemical Industry 相似文献

Cooperative effects of magnesium ions and acidic polypeptides originating from a family of proteins known as Asprich (mollusk Atrina rigida) were studied. In our previous studies, these two acidic polypeptides were found to be effective in controlling the morphology of the calcium carbonate mineral, the main inorganic constituent of prismatic layer of the mollusk shell. Since these Asprich sequences are believed to contain a putative magnesium binding domain, the morphology-controlling effects were further investigated with the addition of magnesium ions. The mineral morphology was dramatically changed by the combined influence of each polypeptides and the magnesium ions, substantiating the recognized importance of magnesium in the formation of calcium carbonate-based biominerals. 相似文献

目的:探索脾多肽注射液(LPI)对原发性血小板减少症(ITP)模型小鼠血小板生成的影响。方法:用随机数表法将实验用SPF级昆明小鼠进行分组,小鼠隔天腹腔注射兔抗鼠血小板血清(APS)诱导构建小鼠ITP模型。在设定时间通过尾静脉方式采血,检测各组血小板、红细胞、白细胞的数量变化,同时计算胸腺、脾脏指数,通过骨髓涂片的方式对巨核细胞进行分类并计数,最后用ELISA法检测血清中促血小板生成素(TPO)、干细胞因子(SCF)、白介素-3(IL-3)、白介素-6(IL-6)、白介素-11(IL-11)、β-血小板球蛋白(β-TG)、转化生长因子-β1(TGF-β1)、血小板因子-4(PF-4)表达水平。结果:LPI可显著提高ITP模型小鼠血小板计数水平,对红细胞、白细胞无影响;胸腺、脾脏指数显著下降;小鼠骨髓中的原始巨核细胞、产血小板巨核细胞数升高,幼稚型巨核细胞、颗粒型巨核细胞和裸核型巨核细胞数均无显著变化;血清中细胞因子SCF、IL-3、IL-6显著升高,PF-4显著降低。 结论:LPI可能通过上调IL-3、IL-6、SCF水平和下调PF-4水平来提高ITP小鼠的血小板数量,对LPI的临床推广应用具有指导意义。 相似文献
