Radiation‐induced graft copolymerization of hydroxyethyl methacrylate with hydroxyethyl acrylate, acrylic acid or glycidyl methacrylate on ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) films allow for tailor‐made synthesis of membranes for high and low temperature fuel cell applications. According to the operating temperatures proton conductivity may be achieved via doping with phosphoric acid or a two‐step sulfonation of the functional monomers. Fuel cell tests provide power densities and internal resistances, which indicate that the membranes are suitable for high and low temperature fuel cells. 相似文献

Isotropic conductive adhesives (ICAs) filled with metal‐coated polymer spheres (MPS) have been proposed to improve the mechanical reliability compared to conventional ICAs filled with silver flakes. The electrical properties of MPS play an important role in the electrical performance of macroscopic MPS‐based ICAs. This article deals with the electrical characterization of individual MPS using a nanoindentation‐based flat punch method, in which the resistance and the deformation of single MPS were monitored simultaneously. Four groups of silver‐coated polymer spheres (AgPS) with identical polymer cores but different silver coating thicknesses were tested. The resistance of AgPS decreases gradually with increasing deformation degree of particles, and increases when the deformation of particles is reduced. In addition, the resistance of individual AgPS is dependent on the physical properties of the silver coating, such as thickness, uniformity, and porosity. Molecular structure and storage hardening of natural rubber: Insight into the reactions between hydroxylamine and phospholipids linked to natural rubber molecule 下载免费PDF全文
The effect of hydroxylamine on the molecular structure and storage hardening of natural rubber (NR) was investigated by the treatment of deproteinized NR (DPNR) latex with hydroxylamine. The hydroxylamine treatment decreased the content of long‐chain fatty acid ester groups in DPNR from about 2–0.7 mol per rubber molecule. The molecular weight and molecular weight distribution changed apparently after treatment with hydroxylamine. The relative intensity of the 1H NMR signals corresponding to phospholipids at the α‐terminal group decreased after the hydroxylamine treatment. The Huggins ‘k’ constant of hydroxylamine‐treated DPNR showed the liberation of linear rubber molecules caused by decomposition of branch points derived from phospholipids. The absence of storage hardening in hydroxylamine‐treated DPNR was observed to be caused by not only the reaction of hydroxylamine and aldehyde groups but also the removal of phospholipids as well as the breakdown of phospholipid aggregations as a result of hydroxylamime, contributing to the establishment of a newly proposed mechanism of hydroxylamine on the inhibition of storage hardening in NR. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Compressive mechanical properties of HTPB propellant at low,intermediate, and high strain rates 下载免费PDF全文
Low, intermediate, and high strain rate compression testing (1.7 × 10?4 to 2500 s?1) of the hydroxyl‐terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) propellant at room temperature, were performed using a universal testing machine, a hydraulic testing machine, and a split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB), respectively. Results show that the stress linearly increases with strain at each condition; the increasing trend of stress at a given strain with the logarithm of strain rate changes from a linear to an exponential form at 1 s?1. By combining these characteristics, we propose a rate‐dependent constitutive model which is a linearly elastic component as a base model, then multiplied by a rate‐dependent component. Comparison of model with experimental data shows that it can characterize the compressive mechanical properties of HTPB propellant at strain rates from 1.7 × 10?4 to 2500 s?1. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Antifouling ultrafiltration membrane fabricated from poly (arylene ether ketone) bearing hydrophilic hydroxyl groups 下载免费PDF全文
A new kind of membrane formation polymer, cardo poly(arylene ether ketone) bearing hydrophilic hydroxyl groups (PEK‐OH) was synthesized from the biphenol monomer 2‐(2‐hydroxyethyl)‐3, 3‐bis (4‐hydroxyphenyl)‐isoindolin‐1‐one (PPH‐OH), and 4, 4′‐difluorodiphenylketone. PEK‐OH asymmetric ultrafiltration membranes were prepared using the immersion coagulation phase inversion method. The PEK‐OH membrane prepared using the optimized conditions exhibited a pure water flux of 516 ± 18 L·m?2·h?1 and a 99.1 ± 1.4% rejection of bovine serum albumin (BSA) at an operating pressure of 0.1 MPa. The contact angle of PEK‐OH membrane was 66.0 ± 2.4 lower than these of the PEK‐C membrane (87.0 ± 2.8°, prepared from polymer PEK‐C under the same membrane formation condition as PEK‐OH membrane) and the UE50 membrane (84.0 ± 1.6°, a commercial PES ultrafiltration membrane). The amount of BSA protein adsorbed to the PEK‐OH membrane under static condition was measured to be 3.12 μg·cm?2, which was greatly lower than that of 88.71 μg·cm?2 and 74.40 μg·cm?2 for the PEK‐C and the UE50 ultrafiltration membranes, respectively. Under dynamic filtration of BSA experiments, the PEK‐OH ultrafiltration membrane showed a 78.3% water flux recovery ratio, while only a 39.7% for the PEK‐C membrane and 46.5% for UE50 membrane were detected in the first cycle. After three cycles of BSA and LYZ filtration, the flux recovery ratio of PEK‐OH ultrafiltration membrane changed to be stable at 75% and 73%, while that of PEK‐C and UE50 ultrafiltration membranes remained declining gradually. Molecular dynamics simulations of molecularly imprinted polymer approaches to the preparation of selective materials to remove norfloxacin 下载免费PDF全文
A novel molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) designed by molecular dynamics (MD) simulations was successfully prepared with norfloxacin as a template molecule, methyl acrylic acid as a functional monomer, and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as a crosslinker. According to the theoretical prediction and experimental preparation methods, three kinds of molecular imprinting materials were designed and synthesized with MD simulations and molecular imprinting technology. The best ratio of the template to the functional monomer to the crosslinker was 1:8:40 in these studies. The experimental results illustrate that the MD simulations were credible in compounding the components of the MIPs. The structure of the prepared polymers were characterized with various methods. To analyze the adsorption performances, many kinds of static adsorption tests, including kinetic, isotherm, and selectivity tests, were used. The results indicate that the novel adsorbents conformed to the pseudo–second‐order kinetic equation and followed the Langmuir isotherm model. The adsorption amounts of MIP2 at a ratio of 1:8:40 were about 29.35 mg/g at 298 K. The selective adsorption and reusable performance of norfloxacin were excellent. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. 分别采用接触氧化组合工艺和MBR组合工艺处理医院生活污水,对处理效果及运行费用进行了对比。结果表明:接触氧化组合工艺处理效果受填料比影响较大,当填料比为20%时,对COD、氨氮、浊度的去除率最高分别为88%、88%、96%;处理同样医院废水的情况下,MBR组合工艺对COD、氨氮、浊度的去除率最高分别为75%、79%、98%,由于截留能力的差异,MBR出水中的微生物含量显著低于接触氧化出水,在满足排放标准情况下,MBR组合工艺的消毒剂用量相对较低;经济分析表明,同等规模的组合工艺,两者的总投资相差不大,MBR组合工艺的运行费用略高。 相似文献
