The objective of this paper is to study the notion of regional observability of hyperbolic semilinear systems. For the state reconstruction in a given subregion, we give a first approach which combines the extension of the HUM method and the fixed point techniques. The analytical case is then explored using sectorial property of the considered dynamic operator and converted to a fixed point problem. The two approaches lead to algorithms which are successfully implemented numerically and illustrated with examples and simulations.  相似文献

In this paper, a new method for model reduction of bilinear systems is presented. The proposed technique is from the family of gramian-based model reduction methods. The method uses time-interval generalised gramians in the reduction procedure rather than the ordinary generalised gramians and in such a way that it improves the accuracy of the approximation within the time-interval for which the method is applied. The time-interval generalised gramians are the solutions to the generalised time-interval Lyapunov equations. The conditions for these equations to be solvable are derived and an algorithm is proposed to solve these equations iteratively. The method is further illustrated with the help of two illustrative examples. The numerical results show that the method is more accurate than its previous counterpart which is based on the ordinary gramians.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate exact controllability for coupled wave equations which have variable coefficients principal part. Observability inequality is obtained by using Riemannian geometry method and Carleman estimates. Furthermore, the exact controllability result is established with Dirichlet boundary controls when T>T0, where the lower bound T0 for the control time T is different from that obtained in the constant coefficient principal part case. A protocol mismatch occurs when heterogeneous networks try to communicate with each other. Such mismatches are inevitable due to the proliferation of a multitude of networking architectures, hardware, and software on one hand, and the need for global connectivity on the other hand. In order to circumvent this problem the solution of protocol conversion has been proposed. In this paper we present a systematic approach to protocol conversion using the theory of supervisory control of discrete event systems, which was partially first addressed by Inan. We study the problem of designing a converter for a given mismatched pair of protocols, using their specifications, and the specifications for the channel and the user services. We introduce the notion of converter languages and use it to obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of protocol converter and present an effective algorithm for computing it whenever it exists.  相似文献

In this work, we give a sufficient algebraic condition for the local observability problem of invariant control systems on compact Lie groups such that the output map is not differentiable. In particular, the usual techniques involving Lie derivatives do not work. Our approach comes from the representation theory. We use the regular representation to construct a bilinear system on the Hilbert space of the square integrable function defined on the group to a finite-dimensional vector space. If this bilinear system is observable, then we prove that the invariant control system is locally observable.  相似文献
