秦牧散文的文体改造与源流

秦牧作为17年时期重要的散文家之一，其成绩是与他所自觉进行的文体改造分不开的。秦牧的身份和处境使得他的文体改造颇为顺利。秦牧17年文体改造体现在特写强调、抒情风味、辨证色彩三个方面，这与当时的文风密切相关。秦牧的文体改造延续了学者散文的文脉，也印证了文体改造在文学史上的积极意义。

High cycle fatigue of bolted connections Extensive tests regarding the influences on the fatigue of bolt‐nut‐connections of preloading with torsion, of preloading with yielding, of loading with superimposed bending and of the tested lot are processed. These influences are not yet known according to VDI 2230. New testing devices were designed for these tests, which allow a far less expensive operation and may easily be used for bolts of diameters up to M100 and testing frequencies up to 1000 Hz. The validity of fatigue resistance according to VDI 2230 is specified with respect to the test results. The determined influence of the tested lots is unexpectedly high. The manufacturing process of bolts should be improved to minimize this influence.     

Healing the psyche through music, myth, and ritual.

According to Carl Jung, a person's symptoms occur as a result of the psyche's creative attempt to self-regulate. These symptoms are viewed as the symbol-making function of the psyche. Music therapy as a therapeutic tool is also viewed as having a symbol-making function in that the physical act of making music involves conceptualizing one's symptoms into sounds. The sound serves as a musical symbol of the symptom. The myth of Orpheus is offered as an example of how early man amplified the creative potential contained in music to heal from life's woes. The Orphic archetype illustrates that music serves as a medium for healing and as an expression of Self. That psyche can be healed by music is a reminder of the connection between music therapy and the myth of Orpheus. In using the therapeutic tool of music one can transcend, through the symbol making process inherent in music therapy, the tension of opposites that are created at the crossroads of disease and wellness. VaR and ES for linear portfolios with mixture of elliptic distributions risk factors

In this paper, we generalize the Linear VaR method from portfolios with normally distributed risk factors to portfolios with mixture of elliptically distributed ones. We treat both the Expected Shortfall and the Value-at-Risk of such portfolios. Special attention is given to the particular case of a mixture of multivariate t-distributions. This is a part of J. SADEFO-KAMDEM PhD Thesis[12] of the Université de Reims, France . It has been presented at the workshop on modelling and computation in Financial Engineering at Bad Herrenalb, Germany May 6-8, 2003. The author is an associate professor at the Department of mathematics, université d’Evry Val d’Essonne.     

History of depression and smoking cessation outcome: A meta-analysis.

The authors conducted a meta-analysis of published studies to (a) evaluate the premise that a history of major depression is associated with failure to quit smoking and (b) identify factors that moderate the relationship between history of depression and cessation outcome. Fifteen studies met the selection requirements and were coded for various study methodology and treatment characteristics. DSTAT was used to calculate individual study effect sizes, determine the mean effect size across studies. and test for moderator effects. No differences in either short-term (≤ 3 months) or long-term abstinence rates (≥ 6 months) were observed between smokers positive versus negative for history of depression. Lifetime history of major depression does not appear to be an independent risk factor for cessation failure in smoking cessation treatment. 在测定 2 0CrMnTi、4 0MnBH、2 0MnVBH钢淬透性及试样的化学成分基础之上 ,利用计算机采用逐步回归分析方法进行了回归运算 ,得到淬透性与化学成分的关系———回归方程 ,根据回归方程求出了不同窄淬透带规格所对应控制的化学成分范围     

高合金钢铸造用涂料的试制与开发

介绍了炉爪用合金钢1Cr25Ni20Si2Re,导板用合金钢2Cr32Ni5采用串箱铸造过程中，有关镁砂粉涂料和石英粉涂料的试制。结果表明：镁砂粉涂料为不透气涂料，不太适用，而合理配方的石英粉涂料使用性能良好。
