Processing technique and sliding friction and wear behavior of TiB2／ZA27 composite

In-situ TiB2 particles reinforced ZA27 composite was prepared by the stir-casting technique and a twostep method. TiB2/Al composite was produced by incorporating K2 TiF6, KBF4 salts and other agents into Al melt. As a master alloy, TiB2/Al composite was used to manufacture TiB2/ZA27 composite, which results in the generation of well-distributed reinforcing TiB2 phase. The hardness, friction and wear behavior of TiB2/ZA27 composite were investigated. The results show that the hardness of the composite is enhanced with increasing the content of TiB2 particles, the incorporation of TiB2 reduces the wear rate of TiB2/ZA27 composite and improves the friction property under lubricated and dry sliding friction conditions. The worn track width of ZA27 alloy is 1.6 and 2.5 times as long as that of 2.1%TiB2/ZA27 composite at 150 N and 700 N load under lubricated conditions, which indicates that TiB2/ZA27 composite possesses higher bearing ability.     

尖晶石锂锰氧化物的电化学性能研究

以LiOH.H2O和Mn(CH3COO)2.2H2O为原料,用微波烧结和固相烧结相结合合成了尖晶石型Li4Mn5O12正极材料.XRD分析、DTA分析、循环伏安和充放电实验表明,先用300W的微波烧结30min,然后再用380℃后处理48 h可获得具有纯Li4Mn5O12物相的样品.该样品的初始放电容量为176mAh/g,40循环的放电容量为123 mAh/g.     

Syntheses of Ferrocenyl Schiff Bases Using Molecular Sieves and AlCl3 as Catalysts

In order to study the donor ability of ferrocenylimines as directing ortho metalation group（DMG） to lithium alkylide to prepare planar chiral ferrocene, a series of ferrocenyl schiff bases were synthesized by new methods using molecular sieves（0.4nm） and AlCl3 as catalysts. The reaction periods were reduced using these two catalysts in contrast with Al2O3, which was a traditional method used in the literature. In addition, as an important feature of these schiff bases, we found that they were unstable as oils in air or when filtrated through silica gel, but were stable as solids. The structures of the new compounds were confirmed by IR, ^1H NMR and HRMS.     

The Densification of Cu／Ti System by Spark Plasma Sintering

In order to unclose the dynamics of SPS densification, a special sintering sample (Cul Ti wires compact) was designed. Characters of the shrinkage rates during sintering process and mierostructures of products fabrieated by the spark plasma sintering( SPS ) and hot-press .sintering were investigated. The experimental results reveal that a higher temperature field is formed at the connected area and conductive net of the compact. These high-temperature parts deformed more easily than other parts, which is believed to be the main cause of SPS fast densification, according to a hard-core and soft-hell material model.

Effect of High-energy Ball Milling on Synthetic Reaction in Al-TiO2-C System

High-energy ball milling has a great influence on the temperature characters of synthetic reaction in Al-TiO2-C system by changing the size,distribution state and wet ability of reactants.Reaction temperature characters（reaction ignition time,ignition temperature time.the maximum temperature and temperature rising rate）were changed by different milling time.The longer the milling time.the earlier the reaction.the quicker the temperature rise and the higher the maximum temperature.When the milling time exceeded 10 hours,the reactivity of reactants was so high that the synthetic reaction could take place at 850℃ directly without a long time pretreatment at 670℃.The microstructure of synthetic composites became uniform and the reinforced particles（TiC and α-Al2O3）became fine with milling time increasing.     

Alcohol's Effect on Triggered Displaced Aggression.

The authors examined alcohol's effect on triggered displaced aggression, the hostile reaction to a second provoking person after provocation from a first. Participants consumed an alcoholic or a nonalcoholic beverage. Subsequently, one individual provoked all of them with moderate intensity. Then, 2 groups were studied: those who received or who failed to receive a second provocation of minimal intensity. Consistent with prior research, participants who received a second, minimal provocation displayed more aggression than those who did not. After participants drank alcohol, the magnitude of this difference was significantly greater, indicating that alcohol increases triggered displaced aggression.
