Halogen-induced charge transfer polymerization of pyrrole in aqueous media

Simultaneous polymerization and doping of pyrrole have been carried out in the presence of a halogenic electron acceptor, bromine (Br₂) or iodine (I₂), in aqueous dispersion or in a two-phase solvent system. The morphology of the polypyrrole (PPY) so produced is granular and porous. The electrical conductivity of the PPY-I₂ charge transfer (CT) complex is of the order of 10¹ ohm⁻¹ cm⁻¹ while that of the PPY-Br₂ complex is about one order of magnitude less. Both complexes are stable in the atmosphere. The physicochemical properties of the PPY-I₂ and PPY-Br₂ CT complexes prepared under various experimental conditions are examined in detail.

A new method of characterization for stratified thermal energy stores

A new method for characterization of stratified thermal energy stores (TES) that integrates both the first law and the second law concerns is presented here. The first law concern is incorporated into a quantity called energy response factor and the second law concern into an entropy generation ratio. A product of these two quantities is at the heart of the TES efficiency definitions. This approach removes the overemphasis of the existing methods either on the first or the second law of thermodynamics which often biases the characterization results. The information about the evolution of the temperature field of the system in time is the prerequisite of the new method. It may be obtained from experiments or from suitable numerical simulations. The current method can be easily integrated into computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulations and thus facilitate CFD-based design analysis. As an example of such CFD-integrated analysis, a large-scale hot water seasonal heat store is numerically studied to identify the effects of aspect ratio, containment shape, internal structures, and containment size on their efficiency. The results suggest the effectiveness of the new method in deriving useful design insights.     

Rates of Crystallization of Dried Lactose-sucrose Mixtures

The isothermal crystallization kinetics of glassy lactose/sucrose mixtures were studied at several storage temperatures (close to T_g and T_m). The kinetic parameters implicit in the Avrami equation were determined. Activation energies for transport (E_D) and surface nucleation (W*) were also found and correlated to the molar composition of the lactose/sucrose mixtures. A monotonic increase in the half crystallization time (t_1/z), Avrami index (n), % crystallization per day, activation energy for transport (E_D) and surface nucleation energy (W*) and a decrease in the crystallization velocity constants (K) were related to the increase in the lactose content of lactose/sucrose mixtures.     

延长分米波电视发射管使用寿命的探讨（上）

文章从原理上讨论了影响分米波电视发射管寿命的若干因素。并提出了若干延长寿命的建议：（１）正确的灯丝加热方法是行之有效的措施，经验证明：过分强调降低灯丝电压往往得到相反的效果。（２）必须有良好的冷却方式。（３）通过对帘栅电路的分析，说明对此电路必须作很好的处理以消除故障和防止寄生振荡。     

高功率板条固体激光器研究的进展

本文对高功率板条固体激光器研究的进展和应用前景作了综合评述。结合作者部分工作,对板条激光器的热效应、聚光器和光学谐振腔等关键问题和技术进行了物理分析。     

制备W－Ni－Cu钨合金的热解还原法工艺探讨

用硝酸镍、氯化铜与乙酸镍、乙酸铜的溶液分别与钨粉混合，干燥，经热解还原法制备的Ｗ－Ｎｉ－Ｃｕ钨合金，其技术指标均可满足使用要求。文章分析、讨论了这两种工艺特性及存在的问题。采用硝酸镍、氯化铜代镍、铜所制备的钨合金，在热解还原过程中产生大量有毒气体、严重的污染环境。乙酸镍、乙酸铜代镍和铜制备的钨合金，在热解还原过程中较好地解决了对环境及产品的污染问题，并保持了热解还原工艺的特性。     

磨机大齿轮对缝处产生张口的初探

针对大中型磨机大齿轮对缝处在使用中会产生张口现象而降低其使用寿命的问题,从分析产生张口的原因入手,通过理论计算,提出设计的配合间隙,并指出在安装与使用中应注意的问题.     

SMT互连组件在热循环中的可靠性预计模型

电子设备中表面安装器件和电路基板以及焊接材料的热膨胀系数差异,使得SMT互连组件在热循环条件下产生热膨胀失配,在焊接处产生热应力,在长时间的交变应力的作用下,焊接处遭到疲劳破坏而使设备工作失效,这就是SMT互连组件在热循环条件下的基本失效机理。文中还介绍了美国MIL—HDBK—217F NOTICE Ⅱ公布的表面安装连接组件可靠性预测lSMT模型。给出一系列具有实用价值的参数。     

Effect of thermomechanical treatment on mechanical properties and electrical conductivity of a CuCrZr alloy

The CuCrZr alloy undergoes processes of precipitation during ageing. Besides precipitation hardening the strength is affected by cold deformation which is performed before and after ageing. The cold deformation (D ₁) before ageing accelerates the process of strength hardening, since it induces higher rate of precipitation from the saturated a-sold solution. Cold deformation (D ₂) after ageing primarily affects the alloy strength. In this paper the results of the effect of thermomechanical treatment on mechanical properties and electrical conductivity of a CuCrZr alloy are presented. The aim of the paper was to evaluate the most suitable combination of thermomechanical treatment and alloy properties.
