This study was addressed to the influence of an electric field strength applied at fabrication process and matrix properties, such as the dielectric constant and the Young's modulus, on “pseudo‐1‐3 piezoelectric ceramic/polymer composite” in order to further enhance the piezoelectricity of that. The pseudo‐1‐3 piezoelectric ceramic/polymer composite consists of linearly ordered piezoelectric ceramic particles in polymer material. Silicone gel, silicone rubber, urethane rubber, and poly‐methyl‐methacrylate, which exhibit different dielectric constants and Young's modulus, were used as matrices to evaluate the matrix influence. The piezoelectricity of the pseudo‐1‐3 piezoelectric ceramic/polymer composite was evaluated using the piezoelectric strain constant d33. The d33 is one of the indices of the piezoelectric properties for piezoelectric materials. As a result, it was confirmed that d33 of the pseudo‐1‐3 piezoelectric ceramic/polymer composite increased with the increase of the electric filed strength applied at fabrication process, though, it reached a constant value at a certain strength value. Further it was confirmed that dielectric constant of the matrix had a small influence on d33 of the pseudo‐1‐3 piezoelectric ceramic/polymer composite, however, in case of matrix of lower Young's modulus, d33 was increase. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The structure and properties of high density polyethylene (HDPE) functionalized by ultraviolet irradiation at different light intensities in air were studied by electron analysis, FTIR spectroscopy, contact angle with water, differential scanning calorimetry and mechanical properties measurement. The results show that oxygen‐containing groups such as C?O, C—O and C(?O)O were introduced onto the molecular chain of HDPE following irradiation, and the rate and efficiency of HDPE functionalization increased with enhancement of irradiation intensity. After irradiation, the melting temperature, contact angle with water and notched impact strength of HDPE decreased, the degree of crystallinity increased, and their variation amplitude increased with irradiation intensity. Compared with HDPE, the yield strength of HDPE irradiated at lower light intensity (32 W m?2 and 45 W m?2) increases monotonically with irradiation time, and the yield strength of HDPE irradiated at higher light intensity (78 W m?2) increases up to 48 h and then decreased with further increase in irradiation time. The irradiated HDPE behaved as a compatibilizer in HDPE/polycarbonate (PC) blends, and the interface bonding between HDPE and PC was ameliorated. After adding 20 wt% HDPE irradiated at 78 W m?2 irradiation intensity for 24 h to HDPE/PC blends, the tensile yield strength and notched Izod impact strength of the blend were increased from 26.3 MPa and 51 J m?1 to 30.2 MPa and 158 J m?1, respectively. This work examines the correlation between the 1H‐NMR T2 relaxation constant and the mechanical properties of aged crosslinked polyolefin cable insulation. T2 experiments on unswollen samples could not differentiate between unaged and highly aged materials; all exhibited 1H T2 constants of approximately 0.5 ms. To accentuate the effects of aging, samples were swollen in various solvents. Unaged samples had T2 values of approximately 15 ms in good solvents. With thermal aging, T2 values decreased as the ultimate tensile elongation decreased. However, the correlation between T2 and elongation differed for samples irradiated with high‐energy radiation and for materials aged above versus below the crystalline melting temperature. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 采用辐照接枝的方法,在高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)上接枝丙烯酸(AA)和对苯乙烯磺酸钠(SSS),从而削备出了一种含羧酸基团和磺酸基团的阳离子交换膜。详细研究了接枝体系中引入添加剂醋酸钠或氯化钠对接枝率的变化规律.实验表明,在预辐照接枝和共辐照接枝中,当AA接技PE或AA与SSS共同接枝PE时,强碱弱酸盐醋酸钠通过pH效应同离子效应对接枝率呈现复杂的影响,而中性盐氯化钠经离子对效应显著提高接枝率。  相似文献

Abstract— We studied the influence of annealing in air on doped europium in BaMgAl10O17 by performing x‐ray absorption fine‐structure measurements. We determined the oxidation of doped divalent europium by annealing in air at over 500°C. The interatomic distance between the europium and the surrounding oxygen atoms was compressed by oxidation. It also appears that the oxidation process of europium is determined by the diffusion of oxygen into BaMgAl10O17.  相似文献

There are some original nonmagnetic point defects in the BaF2 crystallite powder,such as interstitial and vacant F^- which can become paramagnetic centers by γ-ray-irradiation at room temperature,Afterγ-ray irradiation the paramagnetic point defects Vk,H,F and M centers,have been observed in the sample with experiment of electron spin resonance(ESR).Frenkel exciton,a nonmagnetic point defect,can also be induced by the γ-ray irradiation in the sample at room temperature,the existence of the Frenkel exciton is affirmed by an anomalous change of the ESR signal of Vk center with temperature,The signals of the ESR of the H,F and M centers weaken and vanish with the temperature increasing monotonously,But the ESR signal of the Vk enhances when the temperature goes up about 127℃,then weakens and vanishes.An increase in the Vk center follows an annihilation of the Frenkel exciton with heating.  相似文献
