The span of an L(d,1)-labeling f of a graph is the absolute difference between the maximum and minimum integers used by f. The L(d,1)-labeling number of G, denoted by λd,1(G), is the minimum span over all L(d,1)-labelings of G. An L(d,1)-labeling of a graph G is an L(d,1)-labeling of G which assigns different labels to different vertices. Denote by the L(d,1)-labeling number of G. Georges et al. [Discrete Math. 135 (1994) 103-111] established relationship between the L(2,1)-labeling number of a graph G and the path covering number of Gc, the complement of G. In this paper we first generalize the concept of the path covering of a graph to the t-group path covering. Then we establish the relationship between the L(d,1)-labeling number of a graph G and the (d−1)-group path covering number of Gc. Using this result, we prove that and for bipartite graphs G can be computed in polynomial time.  相似文献

There are fewer papers on the adhesive bonding of steel for structural applications than for aluminum and titanium alloys. However, the approach to the adhesive bonding of all three adherends has been similar, that is, the surfaces are pretreated prior to bonding. Trawinski, et al.1,2,3 reviewed several conversion coatings or etching processes used for steel. Haak and Smith4 selected two surface treatments among nineteen based on minimal cost, simplicity and good durability. Smith5 has reported work on stainless steel-epoxy bonds under hydrothermal stress. Bischof, et al.6 investigated the effect of surface pretreatment of steel on bonding strength obtained with polyvinyl chloride. Ziane, et al.7 identified four fracture zones resulting from shear loading of epoxy bonded galvanized steel following four different surface pretreatments. But in some cases, as in the automotive industry, there is a need to bond oily steel directly without surface pretreatment. Rosty, et al.8 have reported a study of the role of fillers and cure temperature on the shear strength of oily steel bonded with epoxy. None of the reported research utilizes both microscopic and spectroscopic techniques to analyze the fracture surfaces.  相似文献

The concept of alloying austenitic steels with carbon + nitrogen is used for the development of a corrosion-resistant austenitic CrMn steel having an impact wear resistance close to that of the Hadfield steel. A higher stabilization of the austenitic phase by C + N, as compared to carbon or nitrogen alone, is substantiated by ab initio calculation of the electron structure, measurements of the concentration of free electrons and calculations of the phase equilibrium. Based on these results, the compositions (mass%) Cr18Mn18C0.34N0.61 and Cr18Mn18C0.49N0.58 were melted and tested along with Hadfield steel Mn12C1.2. Mechanical tests have shown that, as compared to the Hadfield steel, the experimental steels possess a higher strength, plasticity, hardness and the same resistance to impact wear. TEM studies of the surface layer after impact treatment revealed a mixture of the amorphous phase, nanocrystals and fine-twinned austenite. At the same time, using Mössbauer spectroscopy of conversion electrons, the ferromagnetic ordering was found in the surface layer of up to 10 μm in depth, which is the sign of the strain-induced martensitic phase. The hypothesis of a transition from the low-spin to the high-spin state of the iron atoms within the thin twins in austenite was proposed in order to interpret the discrepancy between TEM and Mössbauer studies. Potentiodynamic measurements and immersion tests show that the CrMnCN steels possess a significantly higher pitting potential and resistance to general corrosion in comparison with Hadfield steel.  相似文献

The formation of CaO-TiO2-MgO-Al2O3 dual phase inclusion in 321 stainless steel was investigated in the laboratory. The result indicated that the condition for the formation of CaO-TiO2-MgO-Al2O3 in 321 steel is [Ca]〉0.001wt%, [Ti]〉0.1wt%, and [A1]〉0.01wt%. The mechanism is the following: Al2O3 inclusion turns into CaO-Al2O3 after Ca-Si wire is fed into the molten steel; [Mg] is then obtained by reducing MgO in slag or crucible wall by [Al] and [Ti]; finally CaO-Al2O3 inclusion is changed into CaO-TiO2-MgO-Al2O3 by the reaction with [Mg], [Ti], and [O] in the molten steel simultaneously.  相似文献
