The discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method continues to maintain heightened levels of interest within the simulation community because of the discretization flexibility it provides. One of the fundamental properties of the DG methodology and arguably its most powerful property is the ability to combine high-order discretizations on an inter-element level while allowing discontinuities between elements. This flexibility, however, generates a plethora of difficulties when one attempts to use DG fields for feature extraction and visualization, as most post-processing schemes are not designed for handling explicitly discontinuous fields. This work introduces a new method of applying smoothness-increasing, accuracy-conserving filtering on discontinuous Galerkin vector fields for the purpose of enhancing streamline integration. The filtering discussed in this paper enhances the smoothness of the field and eliminates the discontinuity between elements, thus resulting in more accurate streamlines. Furthermore, as a means of minimizing the computational cost of the method, the filtering is done in a one-dimensional manner along the streamline. 相似文献

Because the traffic patterns on roads vary according to the roads’ specific spatio-temporal behavior, if we would like to forecast the traffic speed by day of the week, it is necessary to determine an optimal set of the highly related historical patterns to achieve high prediction accuracy. The goal of our paper is to suggest a new statistical modeling method that finds the best historical dataset according to various analyses for each link and provides a more accurate prediction of traffic flow by day of the week. First, we suggest a three-step filtering algorithm based on changepoint analysis, correlation analysis, and Monte Carlo simulation to simultaneously find and remove historical data outliers. Second, we determine the optimal historical data range by using decision factors such as the Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Akaike Information Criterion. Moreover, to verify our statistical model, we use various prediction accuracy measures such as Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), R-squared value, and Root MSE (RMSE). Finally, we construct a big data processing framework to handle the overall prediction process and calculate large amounts of traffic data. The forecasting results show that the proposed model can achieve a high prediction accuracy for each road by using three measures: less than 20% for MAPE, more than 80% for R-squared value, and less than 1 on average for RMSE. 相似文献

The ceramic core, produced by hot injection molding, is one of the critical components for manufacturing high-performance aircraft engine turbine blades. However, the injection molding process will cause defects such as burrs and flashes in the fine structure of the formed ceramic core. Manual trimming is necessary, but the trimming quality is poor, and the yield is low. In this paper, the online trimming method of ceramic cores is studied. Based on the orthogonal experiment method, the optimal laser parameters for processing the ceramic core's porous multi-scale particle structure material were obtained. Further, the problems of the match head and tail phenomenon and dimensional accuracy improvement in trimming ceramic cores have been studied. A path optimisation method is proposed to improve the quality and accuracy of the trimming profile effectively. Finally, the overall process flow of ceramic core trimming is elaborated, and experimental verification is given. The results show that the ceramic core online trimming method proposed in this paper has advantages of high precision and high yield compared with the manual method, which will have substantial potential application value in the aviation field. 相似文献
