Three different methods were compared for their efficiency at detection of adenoviruses. The samples examined for viral analysis consisted of concentrates prepared from raw sewage, chosen as providing a representation of the spectrum of viruses being intestinally shed from a large population at any given time. When using one single cell line, HEp-2, the overall numbers of adenoviruses detected using cytopathogenicity and immunofluorescence were roughly equal. In situ hybridization was approx. 40% more sensitive than either of these other methods as determined by average virus titers for the different samples, and also proved to be better by means of a nonparametric comparison. The 293 cell line was approx. 5 times more sensitive for detecting adenoviruses by cytopathogenicity as compared with the HEp-2 cell line, but proved unsuitable in our hands for quantitatively detecting indigenous adenoviruses by immunofluorescence. The relative number of indigenous adenoviruses present in the sewage concentrates we examined was, on average, 94-fold greater than that of enteroviruses. We have conducted five hydraulic fracturing stress measurement campaigns in Korea, involving 13 test holes ranging in depth from 30 to 250 m, at locations from North Seoul to the southern coast of the peninsula. The measurements reveal consistent crustal stress magnitudes and directions that suggest persistence throughout western and southern Korea. The maximum horizontal stress σH is oriented between ENE–WSW and E–W, in accord with plate movement and deformation, and with directions indicated by both focal mechanism solutions from earthquakes inland and offshore as well as borehole breakouts in mainland China close to its eastern coast. With respect to magnitudes, the vertical stress is the overall minimum stress at all tested locations, suggesting a thrust faulting regime within the relatively shallow depths reached by our tests. Typically, such a stress regime becomes one favoring strike-slip at greater depths, as is also indicated by the focal mechanism solutions around Korea. 相似文献

Effect of soil organic matter (SOM) and soil texture on the fatality of indigenous microorganisms in intergrated ozonation and biodegradation 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In situ ozonation has been proposed as a method to remediate soils contaminated with organic pollutants. Soil column experiments were performed on eight different soils in order to investigate the effects of soil properties, such as soil organic matter (SOM) and soil texture on the survival and regrowth of indigenous microorganisms after in situ ozonation. Indigenous microorganisms were found to be very sensitive to ozone in the soil column experiments. The microbial fatality revealed a linear relationship with the SOM content in the range of 1.72–2.42% of SOM content, whereas water content was poorly correlated. Four weeks of incubation of ozone-treated soil samples allowed for the regrowth of indigenous microorganisms with inverse relation to ozonation time. The regrowth was also significantly influenced by the SOM content in the same soil texture. Oxidation and removal rate of hexadecane was affected by particle size distribution. Especially, sand exhibited the highest oxidation rate of hexadecane, which resulted from having the lowest SOM content, water content, and surface area with respect to the other samples. The soil samples ozonated for 90–180 min were determined to exhibit the lowest concentration of hexadecane, with the exception of sand, after 4 weeks of incubation. This study provided insight into the influence of SOM and soil texture on indigenous microbial potential to degrade hexadecane in integrated ozonation and biodegradation. 相似文献

Nano-sized Ar bubbles give negative influence on the fracture resistance and occurrence of superplasticity in ultra-fine grained (UFG) W–TiC compacts. In order to enhance deformability in UFG, Ar-contained W–TiC compacts, effects of TiC addition on the high-temperature deformation behavior were examined. W–TiC compacts with TiC additions of 0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.8 and 1.1 wt% were fabricated by mechanical alloying in a purified Ar atmosphere and hot isostatic pressing. Tensile tests were conducted at 1673–1973 K (0.45–0.54 Tm, Tm: melting point of W) at initial strain rates from 5 × 10−5 to 5 × 10−3 s−1. It is found that as TiC addition increases, the elongation to fracture significantly increases, e.g., from 3 to 7% for W–0 and 0.25TiC/Ar to above 160% for W–1.1TiC/Ar when tested at 1873 and 1973 K at 5 × 10−4 s−1. The flow stress takes a peak at 0.25%TiC and decreases to a nearly constant level at 0.5–1.1%TiC. The ranges of the strain rate sensitivity of flow stress, m, and the activation energy for deformation, Q, with TiC additions are 0.17–0.30 and 310–600 kJ/mol, respectively. The observed effects of the TiC additions on the tensile properties are discussed. 相似文献

基于静电相互作用 , 从苯胺单体出发原位聚合、现场掺杂、层2层自组装制备多层聚苯乙烯磺酸钠( PSS) /聚苯胺 ( PANI) 复合膜。为了明确控制 PSS/ PANI复合膜纳米结构的因素 , 以紫外2可见 (UV2Vis) 光谱跟踪 PSS/ PANI复合膜的成膜过程 , 系统地研究了基片性质、 氧化剂用量及沉积时间等溶液因素对单个双层复合膜纳米结构的影响 , 得到了制备单个双层复合膜的较优条件。在此基础上变换苯胺单体浓度 , 制备了不同纳米结构的多层复合膜 ( PSS/ PANI) n, 并用原子力显微镜 (AFM) 、 扫描电镜 (SEM) 及椭偏仪等对该多层复合薄膜的形貌结构进行了表征。结果表明 , 通过控制沉积条件 , 每双层复合膜的厚度可控制在 40~100 nm , 电导率可达- 12. 675 mS·cm , 并且可制备增长均匀的 8 个双层的 ( PSS/ PANI) 8复合膜。热失重分析 ( TGA) 表明 , ( PSS/ PANI) n多层复合膜的热稳定性优于普通 PSS/ PANI复合膜。 相似文献

为研究冲击片集成组件制造方法及其性能,采用化学气相沉积法(CVD)在爆炸箔基底上沉积制备了聚氯代对二甲苯(PC)飞片层,并且利用光刻方法原位集成了Su8-2150光刻胶加速膛,获得的加速膛厚度大于300μm且壁面垂直度良好。利用光子多普勒速度(PDV)测量技术获得了该冲击片组件电爆炸驱动飞片的加速历程。对比了常规方法制造的冲击片组件(聚酰亚胺飞片)与相同参数集成冲击片组件的飞片加速历程。结果表明,两组加速历程基本一致。聚酰亚胺飞片与PC飞片在前80 ns内分别达到了最大速度的77%与80%,加速膛出口处飞片速度分别为3970 m·s~(-1)和3906 m·s~(-1),两种冲击片组件驱动性能接近,飞片和加速膛的材料的改变对电爆炸驱动飞片过程未产生明显影响。 相似文献
