The effect of Ti content on the wettability of AgCu-Ti filler on porous Si3N4 ceramic was studied by the sessile drop method. AgCu-2 wt% Ti filler alloy showed a minimum contact angle of 14.6° on porous Si3N4 ceramic during the isothermal wetting process. The mechanism of AgCu-Ti filler wetting on porous Si3N4 ceramic is clarified in this paper. Porous Si3N4 ceramic was brazed to TiAl alloy using AgCu-xTi (x = 0, 2 wt%, 4 wt%, 6 wt%, 8 wt%) filler alloy at 880 °C for 10 min. The effect of Ti content on the interfacial microstructure and mechanical properties of porous-Si3N4/AgCu-xTi/TiAl joints are studied. The typical interfacial microstructure of p-Si3N4/AgCu-Ti/TiAl joint is p-Si3N4/penetration layer (Ag(s,s)+Si3N4+TiN+Ti5Si3)/Ag(s,s)+Cu(s,s)+TiCu/AlCu2Ti/TiAl. The maximum shearing strength of the brazed joint was 14.17 MPa and fracture that occurred during the shearing test propagated in the porous Si3N4 ceramic substrate for the formation of the penetration layer. 相似文献

Accumulation of amyloid-β peptide is associated with Alzheimer's dementia. Previously, we reported that sesamin and sesamolin inhibited β-secretase activity in vitro, and each was transported to the serum and brain in mice after oral administration. However, the bioavailability of sesamin and sesamolin was poor in mice. In this study, we aimed to improve the bioavailability of sesamin and sesamolin. We found that the levels of sesamin and sesamolin in mouse serum and brain were higher after the administration of a mixture of sesame extract and turmeric oil (MST) than those after administering sesame extract alone. Serum sesamin and sesamolin contents in the MST-treated group were 23-fold and 15-fold higher, respectively, than those in the sesame extract-treated group. Brain sesamin and sesamolin contents in the MST-treated group were 14-fold and 11-fold higher, respectively, than those in the sesame extract-treated group. These results suggest that turmeric oil is an effective solvent to enhance the bioavailability of sesamin and sesamolin. 相似文献

Natural or forced catalyst extrudate breakage is an important phenomenon during catalyst manufacture. Here, a two‐parameter model for predicting the reduction in the length to diameter ratio of catalyst extrudates due to breakage by impulsive forces as experienced in a laboratory drop test is developed. Part II will show how both parameters can be correlated with the strength of the extrudates and the severity of the drop test. For breakage by impulsive forces, the model reveals that extrudates are reduced in length to diameter ratio according to a pseudosecond‐order break law. Also, a tie‐in exists with the well‐known Golden Ratio that is famous for its inherent esthetic value. Applying the model to cases of “severity sequencing” and “severity conditioning” reveals the nonlinear behavior of the length to diameter ratio and yields results that are often nonintuitive and hard to get without this engineering analysis. © 2015 American Institute of Chemical Engineers AIChE J, 62: 639–647, 2016 相似文献

Responses of MAC‐T Cells to Inhibited Stearoyl‐CoA Desaturase 1 during cis‐9, trans‐11 Conjugated Linoleic Acid Synthesis 下载免费PDF全文
Cis‐9‐conjugated, trans‐11‐conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is known for its positive activities on human health. The synthesis of cis‐9, trans‐11 CLA in mammary glands is generally thought to be catalyzed by stearoyl‐CoA desaturase 1 (SCD1), but this has not been rigorously established. In this study, we hypothesized that the inhibition of SCD1 (by CAY10566) would block the synthesis of cis‐9, trans‐11 CLA in bovine mammary alveolar cells (MAC‐T) cells. Results showed that MAC‐T cells incubated with 10 nM CAY10566 for 12 h (CAY) produced less cis‐9, trans‐11 CLA (p < 0.01), lower 14:1/(14:1 + 14:0)% (p < 0.01), more trans‐11 18:1 (TVA) accumulation (p < 0.01), and reduced SCD1 mRNA levels (p < 0.01) compared with the control group (CON). Moreover, the mRNA abundances of sterol regulatory element‐binding protein 1 [SREBPF1], acyl‐CoA synthetase short‐chain family member 2 [ACSS2], and lipin 1 [LPIN1] were significantly elevated when SCD1 was inhibited in the CAY group (p < 0.05). Taken together, CAY10566 inhibition of SCD1 resulted in lower cis‐9, trans‐11 CLA synthesis ability, and SREBF1, ACSSS2, and LPIN1 were negatively associated with SCD1. These findings not only provide the direct evidence that cis‐9, trans‐11 CLA synthesis is catalyzed by SCD1, but also help us understand the responses of MAC‐T cells to SCD1 inhibition. 相似文献

Novel pseudo‐Fréchet‐type dendrons with 1,3,5‐triazine structure G1.0(NOT) and G2.0(NOT) were synthesized under mild conditions by cyanuric chloride, β‐naphthol, and 3,5‐dihydroxybenzyl alcohol with the yields of 96.3 and 85.6%. The structure of the dendrons was characterized by elementary analysis, IR spectrum, 1H‐NMR, and FAB‐MS. The dendrons had good thermo stability and solubility. They could partially transfer their absorbed energy to Eu3+ ion in tetrahydrofuran/acetone solutions. When the concentration of G1.0(NOT), G2.0(NOT), and Eu3+ ion was 5 × 10?4 mol/L, G1.0(NOT) could enhance the fluorescent intensity of Eu3+ ion at 613 nm by 4.2‐fold, whereas G2.0(NOT) could enhance the fluorescent intensity of Eu3+ ion at 465 and 613 nm by 18.6‐ and 11.7‐fold, respectively. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
