Employing isothermal and isochronal differential scanning calorimetry, an analytical phase transformation model was used to study the kinetics of crystallization of amorphous Mg82.3Cu17.7 and Pd40Cu30P20Ni10 alloys. The analytical model comprised different combinations of various nucleation and growth mechanisms for a single transformation. Applying different combinations of nucleation and growth mechanisms, the nucleation and growth modes and the corresponding kinetic and thermodynamic parameters, have been determined. The influence of isothermal pre-annealing on subsequent isochronal crystallization kinetics with the increase of pre-annealing can be analyzed. The results show that the changes of the growth exponent, n, and the effective overall activation energy Q, occurring as function of the degree of transformation, do not necessarily imply a change of nucleation and growth mechanisms, i.e. such changes can occur while the transformation is isokinetic. 相似文献

Changes in soil pH, exchangeable aluminium (Al), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K) and extractable manganese (Mn) were investigated after urea fertigation of a sandy loam soil in an apple orchard in New Zealand. Urea at three rates (0, 25, 50 kg N ha–1 yr–1 or 0, 16.9, 33.8 g N emitter–1 yr–1) was applied in 4 equal fertigations. Soil cores at 4 profile depths (0–10, 10–20, 20–40 and 40–60 cm) directly below and 20 cm from the emitter were sampled approximately 4 weeks after each fertigation and in the following winter. Results obtained showed that the largest changes in soil pH and cations occurred in soils directly below the emitter in the 50 kg N ha–1 yr–1 treatment where the soil pH decreased by 1.6 pH units at all soil depths. The lowest pH of 4.3 was observed at a depth of 27 cm. Exchangeable Al and extractable Mn levels increased to 11 meq kg–1 and 78µg g–1 respectively. Estimated losses of Ca, Mg and K from the upper soil profile depth (0–10 cm) represented 23, 63 and 27% of their respective total exchangeable levels. At lower profile depths (>20 cm), accumulation of displaced K was evident. Variable, and generally non-significant, chemical changes recorded in soils 20 cm from the emitter were attributed to restricted lateral water movement, and therefore urea movement, down the profile.The present study showed that one season of urea fertigation by trickle emitters, applied to a sandy loam, at half the rate conventionally applied to apple orchards (50 kg N ha–1 yr–1) resulted in pH and mineral element imbalances which were potentially and sufficiently severe to inhibit tree growth. 相似文献

Well‐defined polymer‐Mg(OH)2 nanocomposites were prepared by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). The ATRP initiators were covalently attached to the Mg(OH)2 by esterification of 2‐chloropropionyl chloride with hydroxyl group. The amount of polymer grafted from Mg(OH)2 can be controlled using a different catalyst system and adding a small amount of polar solvent. The well‐defined diblock copolymer, consisting of poly(styrene) (PS) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) were synthesized. The products were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance, Fourier transform infrared, differential scanning calorimetry, and thermal gravimetric analysis. Vapor-Phase Alkylation of Toluene with Isopropanol over Mg/Al, Ni/Al and Cu/Al Hydrotalcites (Layered Double Hydroxide) 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Vapor-phase isopropylation of toluene has been carried out over Mg/Al, Ni/Al and Cu/Al calcined hydrotalcites (CHTs). Reaction conditions were optimized for alkylation by varying temperature, weight hourly space velocity and reactant mole ratio. Side-chain alkylation is found to be more predominant than ring alkylation over Mg/Al CHT, while Ni/Al and Cu/Al CHTs favored ring alkylation. The main products were isobutylbenzene and cymene. The combined participation of acidic and basic sites of the materials is found to be crucial for both side-chain and ring alkylation of toluene with isopropanol. An X-ray diffraction pattern of the resulting oxide indicates a diffuse MgO structure. The incorporation of small amounts of Al3+ to MgO generates new surface Lewis acid--base pair sites. 相似文献

Since the mid-1970s new types of forest damage are observed in the Federal Republic of Germany. Typical damage symptoms in coniferous tree species are needle yellowing, reddening and premature loss of older foliage. Needle analysis carried out in damaged Norway spruce stands indicated that these phenomena, most of all needle yellowing, are influenced by the nutritional status of the trees. For the investigated sites Mg but also other elements, particularly P, S, K, Ca and Zn may play a causal role. As N is the most abundant element in the plant its form of uptake is important for a balanced nutrition. On the contrary to NO3-N high NH4-N uptake reduces the uptake of cations, particularly Mg and Ca, eventually inducing foliar discoloration symptoms on specific sites. Fertilizer experiments indicated that Mg fertilization is an appropriate tool to mitigate forest damages associated with Mg deficiency for a sustained time period. The application of N in the form of NH4-N may impede Mg uptake. This mechanism may cause severe damage in forest areas receiving continuously high NH4-N deposition. 相似文献

The electrochemical corrosion and passivation of Al5Zn1.7Mg0.23Cu0.053Nb alloys, submitted to different heat treatments (cold-rolled, annealed, quenched and aged, and quenched in two steps and aged), in sulphate-containing chloride solutions, has been studied by means of cyclic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The cyclic polarization curves showed that sulphate addition to the chloride solution produced a poor reproducible shift of the breakdown potential to more positive potentials. The repassivation potentials, much more reproducible, and practically separating the passive from the pitting potential region, were slightly displaced in the negative direction with that addition. When the alloys were potentiodynamically polarized in the passive potential region, sulphate was incorporated in the oxide film, thus precluding chloride ingress. In addition, Zn depletion was favoured, whereas Mg losses were avoided. Different equivalent circuits corresponding to different alloys and potentials in the passive and pitting regions were employed to account for the electrochemical processes taking place in each condition. This work shows that sulphate makes these alloys more sensitive to corrosion, increasing the fracture properties of the surface layer and favouring the pitting attack over greater areas than chloride alone. 相似文献

玻璃形成能力(GFA)是判断合金非晶态结构形成的重要指标。利用甩带快冷技术制备了Mg70(Ni3RE)30(RE=La、Ce、Pr、Nd、Y)非晶合金条带(宽5 mm,厚0.2 mm),通过差示扫描量热技术(DSC)表征了合金条带的非晶结构转变及其热稳定性。从原子尺度,对合金的原子尺寸参数(δ)、电负性差(Δx)以及原子结构参数(λ)进行了计算和分析。实验数据和理论分析结果表明:RE=Pr时,相应合金的玻璃形成能力最大,RE=Y的最小,其大小次序为:Mg70(Ni3Pr)30〉Mg70(Ni3la)30〉Mg70(Ni3Ce)30〉Mg70(Ni3Nd)30〉Mg70(Ni3Y)30,影响Mg70(Ni3RE)30非晶合金玻璃形成能力的主要因素是电负性差,原子尺寸参数和原子结构参数的作用次之。 相似文献
