TiO2 nanosheets (TiO2-NSs) photoanodes were synthesized on the surface of Ti meshes via the hydrothermal method, and then washed by HCl, HNO3 and H3PO4, respectively. The TiO2-NSs washed by different pickling agents were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electrons microscopy (SEM), and UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectra (DRS). The results showed that P and N were transferred into the lattice of TiO2. The TiO2-NSs samples washed by HCl and HNO3 both had a mixture of anatase and rutile structures, while the TiO2-NSs washed by H3PO4 only contained anatase phase. It could be concluded that H3PO4 pickling inhibited the formation of rutile phase. Moreover, TiO2-NSs washed by HNO3 (TiO2-NSs-HNO3) exhibited the strongest light absorption ability in visible region. Photoelectrochemical properties of the TiO2-NSs photoelectrodes washed by different agents were investigated via transient photocurrent response (TPR), open-circuit potential (OCP) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The photocatalytic (PC) and photoelectrocatalytic (PEC) performances were evaluated by the degradation of norfloxacin and the yield of •OH radicals in the reactors. The results showed that the TiO2-NSs-HNO3 photoelectrode revealed the highest photoinduced current of 1.08 mA/cm2, open-circuit photovoltage of −0.22 V, PEC efficiency of 93% for the removal of norfloxacin. In addition, the enhanced PEC mechanism for TiO2-NSs-HNO3 was proposed. The high PEC activity of TiO2-NSs-HNO3 could be attributed to the introduction of N during acid-washing procedure, which could not only reduce the band gap energy but also accelerate the separation and transportation of photogenerated charge carriers.  相似文献

Flash fixation of heavy metals from electroplating wastewater (EPW) and pickling waste liquor (PWL) into ferrite lattice can be investigated by microwave hydrothermal process. The toxicity of wastewater may be reduced by the redox reaction between Cr(VI) in electroplating wastewater and Fe(II) in pickling waste liquor. Box-Behnken design (BBD) experiment gives optimal process condition of ferrite formation as follows: wastewater volume ratio (VPWL:VEPW = 0.20), pH value 11 and retention time 15 min, on which formed ferrite has a soft magnetic property with high saturation magnetization (Ms) 47.4 emu/g. The rapid ferrite process has lower activation energy 7.01 kJ/mol according to grain growth kinetics. Concerning the environmental and economy, we introduced a new and interesting method for water remediation simultaneously synthesizing ferrite by using microwave mediated hydrothermal processes.  相似文献

Failure analysis of IEU drill pipe wash out   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Many 127.0×9.19 mm IEU G105 drill pipe failures of wash out occurred after 2367 h of pure drilling time and 8726 m of penetration footage. This paper gives a detailed investigation on these failures and a systematic analysis is carried out on service and loading conditions of the drill pipes. Measurement and inspection were performed on configuration dimensions, chemical composition, mechanical performance, metallography, macro-fractography, micro-fractography, and corrosion products. Configuration stresses at the crack positions of the drill pipe were calculated by FEA. Crack extending velocity of the drill pipe material under corrosion medium was also measured. It is thought from test and analysis results that the drill pipe wash out or fracture accidents were premature corrosion fatigue failure accident. The failure courses were as the following: corrosion pits occurred first on the internal surface at the stress concentrating area of the drill pipe, and then fatigue cracks initiated in pit bottoms, and washed out or fractured subsequently as cracks penetrated through the wall thickness of the drill pipe. The reasons of drill pipe wash out were related to configuration, material quality, and load condition of the drill pipe string.  相似文献
