介绍了融合型风景园林在荷兰形成与发展的历史背景,并结合4个设计案例,从不同主题与方面介绍了荷兰融合型风景园林。这些设计作品从不同角度反映当代荷兰风景园林有趣的设计方法与风格。这些设计方法强调景观与历史的融合、景观与文化的融合、景观与自然的融合、景观与建筑的融合以及景观与人性尺度的融合。这些融合的设计方法对于当今转型中的、建设和谐社会和节地型的中国风景园林颇有启发意义。

Visitenkarten ausländischer Gesprächspartner enthalten oftmals — insbesondere wenn der Eigentümer der Karte aus einem britisch geprägten Land kommt — eine Reihe von Abkürzungen, die dem Namen nachgestellt sind. Der Beitrag beschreibt, was sich hinter “Robert Smith BEng(Hons) PhD CEng MICE MIStructE“ verbirgt. Dazu wird zunächst verdeutlicht, dass erstens akademische Bauberufe in Deutschland und britisch geprägten Ländern nicht deckungsgleich sind, zweitens die Aus‐ und Weiterbildung maßgeblich von Berufsverbänden beeinflusst wird und drittens die Abkürzungen entweder akademische Abschlüsse oder von Berufsverbänden verliehene Qualifikationsstufen repräsentieren. Beispielhaft werden sodann die Aus‐ und Weiterbildung eines civil engineer und die sich daraus entwickelnde Visitenkarte beschrieben. Angefügt werden “Faustformeln”, die eine weitgehende Deutung der Visitenkarten baunaher Gesprächspartner ermöglichen. BEng, CEng, MSc, MICE, . . . — an analysis of Anglo‐Saxon business‐cards. Business‐cards from business partners often contain a number of abbreviations following the name ‐ especially if the person comes from a country which is either British or characterized as British. This article describes the meaning behind of “Robert Smith BEng(Hons) PhD CEng MICE MIStructE”. Firstly it is pointed out that academic professions in the construction industry are not directly comparable between Germany and Anglo‐Saxon countries, secondly the education and professional development are influenced significantly by professional institutions and, thirdly the abbreviations are either academic degrees or grades of memberships in professional institutions. As an example the education and professional development of a civil engineer and the resulting business‐card are described. Attached are empirical formulas which will enable the far reaching decoding of business‐cards from business partners from or related to the construction industry.     

1981 CPA Award for Distinguished Contributions to Psychology as a Profession.

Presents a citation for the 1981 CPA Award for Distinguished Contribution to Psychology as a Profession recipient, Park Olof Davidson. While Dr. Davidson's contributions to academic clinical and community psychology were significant, it was the leadership, wise counsel and guidance he provided for professional psychology and psychologists across the nation that set him apart from his confreres. For example, in Alberta and British Columbia, he was President and Member of the Board of Directors of the respective provincial associations. Nationally, Dr. Davidson served CPA as President, ACPAP as Chairman, and both initiated and acted as the Coordinator of the Canadian Counsel of Clinical Program Directors.
