Estimation of fouling in a plate heat exchanger through the application of neural networks

Pasteurization is an important, if not the most important, process step in the packaging of milk. It is subject to alterations stemming from the variation in the temperature, pH and raw milk quality. The variability may manifest itself in changes in the formation of the deposit (fouling) in the pasteurization unit, such that there is a need for tools, both instrumentation and computational, to help in monitoring the process and keeping it on the desired course. In this paper we describe a practical procedure based on artificial neural networks (ANN) that allows prediction of the deposit thickness, the overall heat transfer coefficient and the critical time (the time that the unit has to be stopped for cleaning) for reducing the impact of fouling on such processes. The procedure determines when the cleaning operation is required once the system is under critical conditions of operations. A combination of fundamental studies and plant measurements were used for study of the operating conditions and thus evaluation of the trades‐offs between operating conditions and longer operating life span. 尖晶石型纳米钴蓝陶瓷颜料的制备

采用化学共沉淀法作为钴蓝颜料的制备方法,探讨了主要工艺因素对制备钴蓝颜料性能的影响,对制备的样品进行了测试与表征。结果表明:Co2+和Al3+物质的量比为1∶2.5时,制备的钴蓝样品颜色饱和度与明度最高,沉淀剂为尿素时制得的样品的粒度最小,粒度分布比较均匀。前驱体的洗涤过程采取水洗加醇洗的方法可有效减少样品的硬团聚现象,且前驱体的最佳煅烧温度为950℃左右。     

炼油化工装置技术改造的决策与实施

针对炼油和石化工业装置技术改造的特点，系统地总结了技术改造的类型和改造方案的制定、决策及实施的原则、程序和方法，指出对炼化装置实施技术改造是一项极其复杂、极具难度的系统工程，必须结合实际情况，以投资回报最大化为原则，通过深入细致地研究和反复比选优化改造方案，并结合现场情况制定切实、可靠、安全的实施方案。     

唐钢ER70S-6焊丝钢的生产工艺研究及质量分析

介绍了唐钢ER70S-6焊丝钢的特点，对盘条质量进行了分析。对该钢化学成分、冶炼和轧制工艺进行了优化研究，使其综合性能明显改善。     

电渗析器免拆清洗实例

用静态溶垢试验和静态模拟试验选出的清洗剂清洗电渗析器，结果表明：用质量分数为2％ HCl，5％多聚磷酸盐，2％HCl 2％CaCO3，0.1mol／L NaOH依次循环清洗电渗析器可清洗掉常见电渗析器垢物和污染物．

激光法合成SiC超细粉末物理化学过程的研究——Ⅰ.实验规律及粉末特性

用50W连续波CO_2激光器为热源,诱发SiH_4和C_2H_4反应,合成SiC超细粉末。实验确定了反应腔体内压力p、气源中的C/Si原子比、喷嘴内径2r以及激光功率密度与粉末特性之间的关系,并对合成的产物进行物理、化学表征。     

The growth and characterization of AlGaAs double heterostructures for the evaluation of reactor and source quality

AlGaAs double heterostructures are grown by low-pressure metalorganic chemical vapor deposition to evaluate the level of oxygen contamination in different trimethylaluminum sources. Effects of arsine purifiers, misoriented substrates, atmospheric exposure of the growth chamber, and possible phosphorus contamination are also studied. Extensive characterization is performed on these films by a variety of methods, including high-resolution x-ray diffraction, photoluminescence (PL), time-resolved photoluminescence, and secondary-ion mass spectrometry. The PL intensities for structures grown with the low-alkoxide grade are reproducibly much greater than those grown with the regular-grade TMA1. The use of AsH₃ purification improves the PL intensity.
