Surface Movement Regularity of Super-Wide Mining Face With Top-Coal Caving

No.4326 super-wide panel of Wangzhuang Coal Mine ( in which the fully-mechanized top-coal caving longwall mining method was used) was monitored for dynamic characteristic of surface movement. The dynamic surface movement in and after mining was predicted by using the Mining Subsidence Prediction System. The results indicate that after mining, the surface above the super-wide panel reaches a state of full subsidence, making the No.309 national highway above the panel be located on the flat bottom of the subsidence basin so that the influence of mining activity in both sides of 4326 panel on the national highway is the smallest.     

Effect of Overcharge on Electrochemical Performance of Sealed-Type Nickel/Metal Hydride Batteries

The effects of overcharge on electrochemical performance of AA size sealed-type nickel/metal hydride（Ni/MH） batteries and its degradation mechanism were investigated. The results indicated that the relationship between the effects of different overcharge currents on the increasing velocity of inner pressure and the degradation velocity of cycle life and discharge voltage remains in almost direct proportion. After overcharge cycles, the positive electrode materials remain the original structure, but there occur some breaks because of the irreversible expand of crystal lattice. And the negative electrode alloy particles have inconspicuous pulverization, but are covered with lots of corrosive products and its main component is rare earth hydroxide or oxide. These are all the main reasons leading to the degradation behavior of the discharge capacity and cycle life of Ni/MH batteries.

Psychology and Phenomenology: A Clarification.

Controversies are rampant in contemporary psychology concerning the appropriate method for observing consciousness and the role inner experience should play in psychological theorizing. These conflicting orientations reflect, in part, methodological differences between natural science and human science interpretations of psychology. Humanistic psychology and philosophical phenomenology both employ a human science approach to psychology that seeks to explain behavior in terms of a person's subjective existence. Maslow's and Heidegger's formulations are both fulfillment theories in that they specify moral values that suggest how life ought to be lived. Natural science methodology rejects the possibility that moral imperatives can be validated, whereas human science methodology allows phenomenological convictions to justify recommendations about a fulfilled life and a good society. Metallurgical Development in Steel‐plant‐internal Multi‐injection Hot Metal Desulphurisation

The use of thermodynamic, statistical, and light and electron‐optical microscopic methods has made it possible to analyse the course of reactions during steel‐plant‐internal hot metal desulphurisation. The theoretical dependence between oxygen and sulphur activity has been used to develop an EMF‐measurement‐based technique for determining the sulphur content as the hot metal is desulphurised. The absence of magnesium sulphide from the collection of phases in the final slag because of the greater stability and secondary formation of calcium sulphide has been explained with the aid of thermo‐chemical calculations.     

试谈可地浸层间渗入砂岩型铀矿选区的几个问题

世界上砂岩型铀矿床分布很广，但达到铀矿省级规模、又适合地浸法开采的，目前只发现3处，它们均属层问氧化带型，发育于晚近造山带与地台（台坪）呈“分支倾伏”的结合部位，在地貌上构成从高山区、经低山丘陵到盆地边缘斜坡带这样3个大的“阶梯”，具备良好的水动力条件；特别在成矿期所处的干旱条件下，年蒸发量大于年降雨量，高山区高位能的冰雪融水就成为低山丘陵和盆地边缘弱构造运动区惟一长期稳定的地下水补给。然而在造山带内有众多的规模较大的山问盆地，至少构成了2个“阶梯”，对寻找含铀煤系砂岩中的层问氧化带型矿床前景看好。许多中外铀矿地质学家都曾注意到，横贯欧洲中部有一条近东西向的海西期铀成矿带，其东段与乌拉尔-天山-蒙古活动带重叠，并与后者一起在中新生代共同受到阿尔卑斯-喜马拉雅期构造运动的影响，造成该带拥有成矿时代不一、矿床类型繁多、空间分布相对集中的复杂景象。此外，贯穿亚洲东部近南北向的“维比尔斯带”被认为是中央亚洲活动带与西太平洋活动带的结合部位，反映出东西部分地壳结构的不均一性。这是两条控制铀成矿作用的全球性构造带，对它们在铀成矿作用中的特点、作用和影响范围在进行战略选区时应予以充分注意。
