随着计算机网络技术的不断发展,计算机网络的使用已经成为了人们生活中必不可少的一部分,计算机网络技术与我们的生活息息相关,但当前网络上却存在一些隐患并对我们的信息安全构成威胁,现针对计算机网络安全防范技术等问题,本文在此进行简单研究.     

Moodle平台在高职院校信息化教学中的设计与应用

本文主要从Moodle平台的特点以及高职院校信息化教学中存在的问题展开,在做了详细的需求分析的前提下,对教学方案的实施效果和存在的问题进行了分析和总结,指出必须确立＂教育的最终结果,就是培养一个独立的学习者＂的目标,同时加强师生互动交流和自主学习能力建设,才能构建科学合理的符合网络教学规律的教学方案。     

It's the Thought that Counts: The Mediating Effects of Information Processing in Virtual Team Decision Making

Abstract

Previous research shows that although collaboration technology can improve the exchange of information during team decision making, one of the challenges is that this better discussion often does not lead to better decisions. In this paper, we investigate the impact of individual information processing on team decision making. We investigated the effects of two types of collaboration technology when participants were either the member of a team majority or a team minority. There was little impact due to the majority/minority, but the use of collaboration technology that required users to categorize the comments they received from others resulted in increased information processing, which in turn led to better decisions and more satisfied participants.     

Building Trust and Cooperation through Technology Adaptation in Virtual Teams: Empirical Field Evidence

Abstract

This article reports findings of a study of how leaders of virtual information systems development teams improve team trust and cooperation by managing adaptation of information and communications tools. Results indicate how Theory X (command and control) and Theory Y (facilitate and support) styles of leadership enable and hinder effective outcomes.     

Application Development Productivity Tools: A Survey Of Importance and Popularity

Application development productivity is becoming an increasingly important issue in the MIS department. Unfortunately, dramatic improvements in hardware performance have not been matched with corresponding advances in software development, even though there have been significant investments in productivity tools. This article identifies a range of productivity tools and presents results from a survey of MIS managers that reveals which specific tools are being used and their relative importance to software development productivity.     

Value not virtual ‐ one library's response to the virtual campus

The purpose statement of Deakin University Library is ‘We help people learn.’ This applies equally to on or off‐campus students, which has meant that the Library has strived to provide innovative resources and services to break down the barriers of geography and time experienced by our remote students. With the advances in information and communication technologies, Deakin University Library has been able to capitalise on these developments to deliver electronic services to both on and off‐campus students, thus complementing the valuable services provided by the Library team. While the services provided through the virtual or digital library are a great leap forward, providing access to a wide range of resources and services 24 hours per day x 7 days per week, these services must be seen in conjunction with the professional assistance provided by librarians. Deakin University Library's success is in its customer focus and the value added digital services available through the virtual campus.     

The dark side of information technology use

A large body of research has considered the positive aspects of information technology (IT) use. However, emerging research and practice commentary is beginning to focus on complex and often alarming ways in which use of IT affects organisational and social life. This Special Issue focuses on these ‘dark’ effects of IT use.     

Exploring creative intersections: Ernest Edmonds and his time-based generative art

This article focuses on the experience of British artist Ernest Edmonds and the influences that have informed his art practice in the past forty years. How are these influences connected? The article has an historical focus. It develops the themes within Edmonds's art and shows his connections with the ‘Systems’ artists and their forebears. In particular, the article concentrates on the encounter of Edmonds with artistic thinking about systems and process in the broad sense, as well as digital and interactive work developed from the early 1980s. As the article will demonstrate, a passion for colour, time and structure, the encounter with a number of artists inspired by Constructivism in the early 1980s, and the educational context in which Edmonds has worked from the late 1960s until the present, have offered great opportunities of interdisciplinary exchanges and ideas that had a profound impact upon the nature of his art. These influences have enabled Edmonds to explore new constructs in art through the use of technology that are a constant stimulus in his creative research, both as an artist and as an academic.
