To investigate the effect of laser process parameters on microstructure and properties of composite coating, the composite coatings were manufactured by laser cladding Ni–Cr–Ti–B4C mixed powder on Q235 mild steel with different process parameters. The coatings are bonded with the substrate by remarkable metallurgical binding without cracks and pores. The composite coatings are consisted of in situ synthesized solid solution Ni–Cr–Fe, intermetallic compound (IMC) Ni3Ti, Cr2Ti, and ceramic reinforcements TiB2, TiC. Results of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) revealed that the ceramic reinforcements became coarser with higher specific energy (Es). There were independent ceramics TiB2, TiC, eutectic ceramic TiB2–TiC in coatings, and eutectic alloy–ceramic was detected. Compared with the substrate, the microhardness of coatings was increased significantly, and the maximum microhardness of coatings was approximately five times as high as the substrate. The wear resistance of coatings was improved dramatically than the substrate. Compared to the coatings with lower Es, higher Es led to lower microhardness and worse wear resistance ascribing to more Fe diffused into the coating from the substrate. 相似文献

The effective thermal conductivity (λe) and effective thermal diffusivity (χe) of oil‐palm‐fiber‐reinforced treated composites were measured simultaneously with the transient plane source technique from 50 to 110°C. The fibers of the composites were treated with sodium hydroxide alkali, silanol, and acetic acid. The experimental results for the different treated composites showed that there were variations in λe and χe over this temperature range. However, the maximum values of λe and χe were observed at 90°C, in the vicinity of the glass‐transition temperatures of these composites. An effort was also made to predict the temperature dependence of λe and χe through the development of an empirical model. The theoretically predicted values of λe and χe for these composites were in excellent agreement with the experimental results over the entire range of investigated temperatures. Sudden increases in λe and χe in the glass‐transition region of these composites were indicative of the fact that the crosslinking density decreased and was at a minimum at the temperature at which λe and χe showed their maxima. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 桥梁水下结构在我国桥梁结构的工程实践中普遍存在,桥梁水下结构常常需要面临加固需要,传统的水下结构加固技术具有造价高、工期长的缺点。以某桥梁的水下桩基础加固工程为背景,对比分析了3种不同的水下结构加固方案,通过工程实践应用,论证了纤维网格(FRP网格)加固桥梁水下结构技术的可行性,提出了FRP网格加固桥梁水下结构的施工工艺,其以水下无排水施工为指导思想,将高强轻质的FRP网格作为增强材料,以水下不分散材料为黏结材料,实现对桥梁水下结构的快速加固修复。FRP网格加固桥梁水下结构技术是一种新的有效技术,尤其在无法或难于修筑围堰的情况下,具有广阔的应用前景。 相似文献

Improvement of the mechanical properties of adhesives and adhesive joints has been a subject of great interest in recent years. Up to now, several methods have been presented such as modifying substrate shapes, adding microparticles (MPs) and nanoparticles (NPs), and embedding micro and macrofibers in the adhesive layer. This review aims to investigate how these reinforcements of different scales in the adhesive layer influence the mechanical properties of adhesive joints and adhesives. Characteristics and applications of reinforcements are introduced in the first part. In the second part, the effects of several parameters commonly investigated by researchers on the strength, stiffness and fracture toughness improvement of polymeric materials are reviewed for reinforcements of different scales. Finally, damage mechanisms involved in increasing or decreasing the mechanical properties are reviewed and discussed. 相似文献
