 The research on an industrially manufactured, electrically conductive glass fibre reinforced epoxy prepreg for aviation applications is reported. In a co-operative effort between Technical University Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH) and Daimler-Benz Aerospace Airbus (DASA) a new glass-epoxy composite with both electrical and good mechanical properties was successfully developed. The electrical conductivity was achieved adding carbon black as a conductive filler into the epoxy matrix and this at a very low level of content. The range of possible applications for this new material is not only limited to aviation. It can also be used in other transport systems or in electric and electronic devices. Oxidative atmospheric pressure plasma was used to modify PA6,6 fabrics followed by graft copolymerization of 2-hydroxy ethyl methacrylate (HEMA) in 20% aqueous solution at 60°C for 1 h, with the aim to increase hydrophilicity, antistatic, and dyeing properties of the fabrics. Grafted PA6,6 fabrics were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The modified PA6,6 fabrics improved the moisture regain and the antistatic properties. Dyeing property of grafted fabrics was also studied.  相似文献

This study aims to produce a long-term antistatic acrylic-based film by incorporating ionic liquid (IL), 1-ethyl-2,3-dimethylimidazolium ethyl sulphate (EIL) into acrylic resin. After loading, characterisations of samples were conducted by mechanically, thermally and morphologically. In order to determine antistatic properties, surface resistivity of samples was measured by using at different time intervals. The results indicated that IL loaded polymers showed a good antistatic property for a long time. The effect of incorporation on tensile strength, tensile modulus, flexural strength and flexural modulus of polymer were also obtained. After loading process, tensile strength, tensile modulus, flexural strength and flexural modulus values decreased considerably. The decrement in tensile strength of polymer is much less than that in flexural strength. The effect of EIL incorporation into acrylic resin on thermal conductivity and surface wettability was also investigated. From scanning electron microscopy images, EIL particles in nano-size range were observed in polymer structure.  相似文献

Organic–inorganic antistatic hybrid acrylic coatings were prepared. Trialkoxy-silyl ammonium salt was added to the photocurable formulations in order to introduce an antistatic additive which could be covalently linked to the hybrid network through a co-condensation reaction involving the alkoxy groups. The influence of the antistatic additive on the radical photopolymerization reaction of the acrylic resin was evaluated by real time FTIR, keeping the inorganic precursor content constant at 20 phr and increasing the trialkoxy-silyl ammonium salt in the range between 5 and 15 phr. When the samples were cured under nitrogen atmosphere, a complete conversion of acrylic double bonds was achieved after 90 s of irradiation both for the acrylic resin and the formulations containing the ammonium salt. The scratch behavior of coatings was investigated by carrying out of progressive load scratch test. The penetration depth (Pd) and the residual depth patterns were investigated for all the hybrid films. A consistent improvement of penetration resistance by increasing alkoxy-ammonium salt content was noted in terms of Pd. Inorganic component and antistatic additives increase ε′ and σAC values of the hybrid coatings and decrease the resistivity ones, showing their efficiency for increasing antistatic properties of coatings, improved with respect to the pure acrylic resin.  相似文献

Utilizing waterborne epoxy resin as a main film-forming material, a kind of light color antistatic and anticorrosive waterborne epoxy coating with volume resistivity of 106 was prepared by adding light color conductive pigments and anticorrosive pigments. The coating has excellent corrosion protective and outstanding decorating properties, which is applicable for the inner coating of oil tank. The effects of the type and the amount of conductive pigments, the film thickness, the curing temperature, and the curing time on the volume resistivity of the film were discussed. The properties of the several kinds of waterborne epoxy resin were compared and the determining of anticorrosive pigments was discussed.  相似文献
