Pd catalysts supported on TiO2, ZrO2, ZSM-5, MCM-41 and activated carbon were used in catalytic wet oxidation of hydrocarbons such as phenol, m-cresol and m-xylene.
It was found that the Pd/TiO2 catalyst was highly effective in the wet oxidation of hydrocarbon. The activities of catalysts with various hydrocarbon species,
catalyst support, oxidation state of catalyst performed in a 3-phase slurry reactor show that reaction on Pd surface is more
favorable than that in aqueous phase and that the active site is oxidized Pd in catalytic wet air oxidation of hydrocarbons.
Based on the experimental results, a plausible reaction mechanism of wet oxidation of hydrocarbons catalyzed over Pd/TiO2 catalyst was proposed. This catalyst is superior to other oxide catalysts because it suppressed the formation of hardly-degradable

In PSA Peugeot Citroen factories, high precision requirements of workstations make them being manual. One of the main goal of the car manufacturer is to minimize the pain of workers while maintaining high efficiency of production lines. Consequently, assisting operators with an exoskeleton is a potential solution for improving ergonomics of painful workstations while respecting industrial constraints. To determine ergonomic performances of an exoskeleton, human joint angles and torques, ground reaction forces, and duration of operations are analysed for eight subjects performing a representative screwing task. Experiments were performed using ABLE upper-limb exoskeleton, developed by the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), which has the functionality to compensate arm and tools loads. Results show a clear reduction of the sum of the joints torques, up to 38.9%, given by ABLE supply and invite to make concrete the use of exoskeletons in car assembly lines. 相似文献

The formation of potentially carcinogenic organic halides has been shown to result from drinking water disinfection with chlorine. xidative treatment of organic halide precursors with ozone prior to chlorination has surfaced as an attractive technique for reducing the formation of these compounds. In addition to reduction of precursor levels, preozonation has been reported to effect other beneficial results in water treatment. This paper presents design methodologies to optimize the implementation of the ozonation process for water treatment applications. Pressure drop of monofilament-woven fabrics is often calculated via the so-called orifice model in which a discharge coefficient is assigned to the weave's unit cell. In all previous models of woven fabrics, the filaments were assumed to have circular cross-sections—an assumption which is not entirely accurate especially when there is a considerable tension in the warps and wefts. Following the methodology developed by Lu et al. [1996. Fluid flow through basic weaves of monofilament filter cloth. Textile Research Journal 66 (5), 311-323], a new set of expressions are derived for calculating the most constricted open area, and so the discharge coefficient, of plain-woven monofilament fabrics having filaments with elliptical cross-sections. Conducting numerical simulations for computing the pressure drop of such fabrics, we observed a logarithmic relationship between the discharge coefficient and the Reynolds number. It was also shown that the discharge coefficient decreases by increasing the aspect ratio of the filaments’ cross-section. 相似文献

An apparatus was developed for investigating the release rates of pheromone formulations at temperatures and air velocities that correspond with those in the field. Polyurethane foam proved an excellent adsorbent for the recovery of tetradecen-1-ol acetates, allowing high air flows at low differential pressure and without breakthrough of these compounds. The experimental setup and procedures are described. The release rates of all formulations investigated were almost proportional to the square root of air velocity, and their logarithms were proportional to the reciprocal of temperature (K). When temperature is increased from 15°C to 25°C, the release rates increase by about 2-2.5 ×. Both relationships were combined into one equation that allows a reliable estimate to be made of the actual release rates of a formulation, under varying conditions, on the basis of its specific parameters and the relevant meteorological data. 相似文献
