The impact of individual trauma symptoms of deployed soldiers on relationship satisfaction.

Research traditionally has focused on the development of individual symptoms in those who experienced trauma directly but has overlooked the interpersonal impact of trauma. The current study reports data from 45 male Army soldiers who recently returned from a military deployment to Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom) or Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom) and their female spouses/partners. The results indicated that increased trauma symptoms, particularly sleep problems, dissociation, and severe sexual problems, in the soldiers significantly predicted lower marital/relationship satisfaction for both soldiers and their female partners. The results suggest that individual trauma symptoms negatively impact relationship satisfaction in military couples in which the husband has been exposed to war trauma. Fluvial Landscapes,Catchment Administration and Land-use Planning: Experience based on two rivers in Spain

The differences between urban, rural and fluvial landscapes pose challenges for land-use planning. In particular, the stable character of urban settlements and cultural landscapes contrasts with the instability of fluvial ones. In Spain, the administration of fluvial landscapes, via the main legal instrument (the Hydraulic Public Domain) and land-use plans, is conducted on the basis of administrative boundaries which cut across hydrological units. The characteristics and dynamics of fluvial landscapes (in particular two Spanish rivers) are studied and it is argued that land uses established within them should be compatible with their characteristics and dynamics. In order to implement this objective, two new concepts are proposed for adoption by the river agencies and for incorporation in local land-use plans—the Area of Fluvial Freedom and the Area of Flooding.     

基于特征自由度变动的装配误差累积建模研究

利用基于装配功能对于各零件装配特征变动的雅可比矩阵,结合特征自由度和变动理论,建立表示装配功能要求的特征变动与装配零件特征变动联系的数学模型。运用该数学模型,可以定量地表示装配特征的变动对产品装配功能要求的影响,为设计者指出对装配功能影响较大的零件公差并有针对性地对其进行公差分析。     

自适应神经模糊推理的四轮转向车辆转向控制研究

模糊规则的建立和隶属度函数的确定是设计模糊系统的难题。基于神经网络和模糊逻辑的自适应神经模糊推理系统,能够从仿真数据中自动提取出If-Then规则。并在Matlab/Simulink软件中,建立包含侧向运动、横摆运动、侧倾运动三个自由度的四轮转向车辆三自由度动力学模型。将得到的If-Then规则读取到模糊控制器中和三自由度车辆模型进行联合仿真。其中模糊控制器以方向盘转角、方向盘转角速度和车速作为输入,后轮转角作为输出。最后与前轮转向的车辆进行转向盘角阶跃仿真对比。仿真分析结果表明:基于自适应神经模糊推理系统建立的后轮转角模糊控制器能够实现理想的质心侧偏角和车辆横摆角速度响应,提高了车辆的操纵稳定性。     

Pressure control of hydraulic servo system using proportional control valve

The purpose of this study is to develope a control scheme for the hydraulic servo system which can rapidly control the pressure in a hydraulic cylinder with very short stroke. Compared with the negligible stroke of the cylinder in the system, the flow gain of the proportional pressure control valve constituting the hydraulic servo system is relatively large and the time delay on the response of the valve is quite long. Therefore, the pressure control system, in this study tends to get unstable during operations. Considering the above mentioned characteristics of the system, a two-degree-of-freedom control scheme, composed of the I-PDD²… feedback compensator and the feedforward controller, is proposed. The reference model scheme is used in deciding the parameters of the controllers. The validity of the proposed control scheme is confirmed through the experiments.     

The view of freedom and standardisation among managers in Swedish construction contractor projects

It has been suggested that standardisation improves productivity. Simultaneously, construction contractor project managers are given freedom to run projects as if they were independent firms. If this is a motivating factor for the managers, firms may have to find other ways to improve productivity than to increase standardisation to be able to stimulate their most skilled managers. It could prove important to recognise their need for freedom before they start looking for alternative places of employment.     

Standardization in IT — current developments and users'' response

The paper emphasises the importance of standards to users to enable them to communicate change or upgrade hardware and software incrementally and exercise real freedom of choice of supplier.

Whilst the Open Systems Interconnection architecture is a useful development it is argued that it covers only a part of the problem and even there a great deal of further work is needed if the objectives desired by users are to be achieved.

The General Motors MAP and Boeing TOP initiatives indicate the influence which can be exerted by large users but international co-operation among users is essential if the technical commercial and political pressures are to be properly co-ordinated to enable users to achieve the benefits which standardisation could provide.     

提高MIMO信道BER性能的干扰对齐方案

为提高多输入多输出(MIMO)X信道的比特误码率(BER)性能,提出一种干扰对齐方案。在发送端将数据按照Alamouti编码方案重复发送,在接收端通过重新配置天线工作模式改变信道系数,构成具有正交结构的等效信道矩阵,通过矩阵运算消除干扰,并采用低复杂度的PIC群译码算法进行译码。仿真结果验证了该方案的有效性。
