From the literature on error detection, the authors select several concepts relating error detection mechanisms and prospective memory features. They emphasize the central role of intention in the classification of the errors into slips/lapses/mistakes, in the error handling process and in the usual distinction between action-based and outcome-based detection. Intention is again a core concept in their investigation of prospective memory theory, where they point out the contribution of intention retrievals, intention persistence and output monitoring in the individual's possibilities for detecting their errors. The involvement of the frontal lobes in prospective memory and in error detection is also analysed. From the chronology of a prospective memory task, the authors finally suggest a model for error detection also accounting for neural mechanisms highlighted by studies on error-related brain activity. 相似文献

In this paper, an image edge detection method based on multi-fractal spectrum analysis is presented. The coarse grain H?lder
exponent of the image pixels is first computed. then, its multi-fractal spectrum is estimated by the kernel estimation method.
Finally, the image edge detection is done by means of different multi-fractal spectrum values. Simulation results show that
this method is efficient and has better locality compared with the traditional edge detection methods such as the Sobel method.

Langasite (La3Ga5SiO14, LGS) and gallium orthophosphate (GaPO4) resonators exhibit piezoelectrically exited bulk acoustic waves at temperatures of up to at least 1400∘C and 900∘C, respectively. Their mass sensitivity at elevated temperatures has been found to be about as high as that of quartz at room
temperature. Within its operation temperature range, GaPO4 shows significantly lower losses than LGS.
Factors restricting application relevant properties of LGS at elevated temperatures, such as the mass resolution, include
excessive viscous damping. Therefore, the effective viscosity is determined as a function of the temperature by fitting the
calculated complex impedance to the experimental data in the vicinity of the resonance frequency. The viscosity shows an Arrhenius-like
behavior if a temperature independent contribution is subtracted. The activation energies of the viscosity for LGS and GaPO4 correspond to those of the bulk electrical conductivity for each material. Viscosity and conductivity are obviously correlated.
Therefore, it is highly likely that the predominant conductivity mechanism also controls the mechanical damping. First attempts
to minimize the viscosity of LGS by doping are undertaken. Very light doping does, however, not change the conductivity and
viscosity of LGS. Higher doping levels have to be applied and tested.
Based on the electromechanical properties given for undoped LGS, the applicability of this material as resonant gas sensor

The use of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) spectroscopy has been applied to a wide variety of fields such as biosensors and
surface analysis instruments. In general, a SPR substrate is prepared using self-assembled monolayer (SAM) method of organic
molecules as receptor for the target on a layer of gold or silver. However, mesoporous inorganic materials such as SBA-15
have benefits as sensor substrate for SPR. Mesoporous silica has a large surface area which receptor molecule can be attached
and has a rigid body which has an excellent stability in the extreme condition compared to organic sensing layer. We prepared
an organic modified mesoporous silica and successfully immobilized it on a gold surface, in an attempt to use as a substrate
for SPR spectroscopy. For the comparison of sensitivity of prepared substrate, Pt2+ detection was selected as a model system. Substrate prepared in this study exhibited the capability of selective sensing

A new method for preparing SnO2 whiskers by the decomposition of SnC2O4 is suggested. A Whisker-like morphology of a SnC2O4 precipitate was attained via the gradual addition of an oxalic acid solution to a hot SnCl2 aqueous solution (T > 50∘C). In comparison, when the solution temperature was either lower than 50∘C or when ethanol was used as the solvent, the SnC2O4 precipitate showed an angular and relatively isotropic morphology. The morphology of the SnC2O4 precipitate remained even after its thermal decomposition into SnO2 at 400∘C indicating that SnC2O4 precipitation is a key step in preparing the whiskers. The formation mechanism of SnO2 whiskers was explained by the supersaturation during the precipitation of SnC2O4. 相似文献
