In this paper are analysed the interactions between a surface wave field and the kinematic structures above and below the waves, in gas-liquid stratified flow in a rectangular cross sectional channel. The analysis is based on experimental data both on the local structure of the flows and on the deformation of the gas-liquid surface. The basic phenomena that have been observed are: on the one hand, the waves that propagates over the liquid surface can exhibit a crosswise distribution of amplitude; on the other hand, secondary flows can be generated both in the gas and in the liquid. A theoretical attempt is developed to explain the distribution to wave amplitude: in fact, the waves propagate over a non uniform liquid current. On the one hand, the wave field interact with the liquid current to generate secondary flows below the waves. On the other hand, the wave amplitude distribution interacts with the gas flow; the wave distribution can be considered as a non uniform interfacial roughness which generates Prandtl second type secondary flows above the waves. These physical mechanisms which are based on the analysis of experimental results are also validated with numerical simulations.  相似文献

This paper presents an image analysis procedure using Euclidean Distance Mapping to compute microstructural gradients at interfaces in composite materials. This method is capable of producing phase distribution plots at single pixel strip width very quickly and efficiently. Compared to conventional dilation-subtraction strip analysis, the new method is faster, more flexible and is not constrained by feature geometry and boundary conditions. This allows for truly random and unbiased sampling. The new method was applied to investigate microstructural gradients at the interfacial transition zone (ITZ) of an ordinary Portland cement concrete. The average results show strong gradients in anhydrous cement and detectable porosity at the ITZ, but this is highly variable from location to location. The overall ITZ characteristics depend on the amount of calcium hydroxide deposited on aggregate particles. The new method was able to measure the effect of these calcium hydroxide deposits on the porosity gradient, which has not been reported before.  相似文献

为了解决多属性数据分类问题,提出了一种基于模糊优选模型与聚类分析的分类方法(FO-CA)。首先由模糊优选模型得到有序综合指标数据集,其中在权重阶段提出了距离差异度并以此为依据构建了一种组合主客观权重的赋权方法;然后采用聚类分析将有序综合指标数据集聚类为几个簇进而分类;最后选取UCI中的Iris、Wine和Ruspini 3个数据集进行仿真实验。实验结果表明,该分类方法相比模糊优选方法及K-Means算法能获得更好的分类结果,对决策者有一定的参考价值。  相似文献

This paper develops a model for the effective elastic properties of concrete, which is a function of the volume fractions, size distributions, and elastic properties of fine aggregate (FA) and coarse aggregate (FA) and entrapped voids. Furthermore, the model is a function of the overall water-cement ratio and specific gravity of cement. Explicitly modeled are the water-cement ratio gradients through the interfacial transition zone (ITZ), which, in turn, affect the variation of the cement paste elastic properties through the ITZ, while maintaining the total fractions of cement and water consistent with the overall water-cement ratio. We present a simple glue method for fabricating membrane electrode assemblies (MEA) for direct methanol fuel cells (DMFC). Rather than the conventional “dry” hot-pressing method that relies solely on hot-pressing at a high pressure and temperature to form a MEA, the “wet” method developed in this work introduces a binding agent, consisting of Nafion® solution, between a polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) and an anode/cathode. The introduced binding agent can provide a better adhesion and stronger binding force between a membrane and an electrode, thereby facilitating a better interfacial contact between the electrode and the Nafion® membrane, which has been proved by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analyses to the cross-sectional morphology of the MEA after long-term operation. The cell performance characterization showed the MEA fabricated by the glue method was more stable in cell performance than that fabricated by the conventional hot-pressing method. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) results also demonstrated the MEA fabricated by the glue method exhibited a higher electrochemical surface area (ESA) as a result of the improved interfacial contact between the Nafion® membrane and the electrodes. Finally, the DMFC with the MEA fabricated by the glue method was characterized by the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).  相似文献

The present study deals with the pressure effects on mass transfer parameters within a bubble reactor operating at pressures up to . The gas-liquid systems are N2/CO2-aqueous solution of Na2CO3-NaHCO3 and N2/CO2-aqueous solution of NaOH. A sintered powder plate is used as a gas distributor. Three parameters characterizing the mass transfer are identified and investigated with respect to pressure: the gas-liquid interfacial area a, the volumetric liquid side mass transfer coefficient kLa and the volumetric gas side mass transfer coefficient kGa. The gas-liquid absorption with chemical reaction is used and the mass transfer parameters are determined by using the model reaction between CO2 and the aqueous solutions of Na2CO3-NaHCO3 and NaOH. For a given gas mass flow rate, the interfacial area as well as the volumetric liquid mass transfer coefficient decrease with increasing operating pressure. However, for a given pressure, a and kLa increase with increasing gas mass flow rates. The mass transfer coefficient kL is independent of pressure. Furthermore, the pressure increase results in a decrease of kG and kGa for a given gas mass flow rate. The values of the interfacial area, which are obtained from both chemical systems are found to be different. These discrepancies are attributed to the choice of the liquid system in the absorption reaction model.  相似文献

In reacting systems, dynamic interfacial tension (IFT) values above 10-20 mN/m are often encountered. For such high tension values, infinitely long oil droplets will not be realised in spinning drop tensiometry. Hence, Vonnegut's solution will not be strictly valid. The experimentalist is then compelled to use one of the several alternative solution schemes proposed in the literature. We have obtained dynamic IFT data for 0.3125 mM oleic acid in hexadecane contacted with various NaOH solutions by the use of a novel experimental scheme called photo-micropendography. These tension values were then compared with spinning drop tensiometer data calculated by using three alternative solution schemes, namely, Vonnegut's method, the formula of Slattery and Chen and the analysis of Princen el al. The comparison showed that when the droplet's length/width ratio was below 2.5, Vonnegut's formula was severely in error. The solution scheme proposed by Slattery and Chen gave tension values close to those found by photo-micropendography over the entire range of IFT values exhibited by the oleic acid/caustic systems. However, the most consistent and reasonably accurate tension values resulted from the use of Table I in the paper by Princen, Zia and Mason. A simplified computer algorithm has been proposed for calculating dynamic interfacial tensions using the formulas and tables proposed by the latter authors. However, at length/width ratios above 2.5, the agreement between interfacial tensions determined by micropendography and spinning drop data calculated by the use of Vonnegut's solution was quite good.  相似文献

Mass transfer studies were carried out in a bubble column using the chemical method. Catalytic oxidation of sodium sulfite was chosen for the studies and the corresponding specific rates of oxidation were obtained using a stirred cell. Laser Doppler anemometer (LDA) was used to measure the instantaneous velocities in the same stirred cell as well as in bubble columns (100 and i.d.). An efficient algorithm based on the multiresolution analysis of the velocity-time data using wavelets was used for the isolation of data belonging to the gas and liquid phases. Eddy isolation model was used for the characterization of the eddy motion including the estimation of the energy dissipation rate. Using the knowledge of eddy motion, a methodology was developed for the prediction of true mass transfer coefficient (kL) in a stirred cell as well as in bubble columns. The predicted values of kL have been compared with the experimental values obtained by the chemical method.  相似文献

通过均质长岩心流动实验和非均质岩心驱替实验,得到了化学复合驱中一类ASP三元复合体系(碱/表面活性剂/聚合物)和一类SP二元复合体系(表面活性剂/聚合物)在多孔介质中的阻力系数、粘度、界面张力和驱油效果。结果表明,在地面条件下界面张力和粘度相近的ASP三元体系和SP二元体系,随着在岩心中运移距离的增加,两种体系的界面张力均大幅上升,由10^-3mN/m升高至10^-1~10^2mN/m,并稳定在1mN/m左右。ASP三元体系的界面活性受碱浓度和表面活性剂浓度的双重影响,其界面张力值变化幅度较大。碱对减少聚合物在岩心中的粘度损失影响较大,ASP三元体系与SP二元体系相比,在岩心深部具有较高的粘度保留率和阻力系数值。本实验条件下,利用ASP三元体系改善非均质岩心的驱油效果比SP二元体系更有优势,在含水率为70%时,注入ASP三元体系段塞0.4~0.6PV,其化学驱采收率平均高于SP二元体系5%~7%。  相似文献
