Proper integration of scheduling and control in Flexible Manufacturing Systems will make available the required level of decision-making capacity to provide a flexibly-automated, efficient, and quality manufacturing process. To achieve this level of integration, the developments in computer technology and sophisticated techniques of artificial intelligence (AI) should be applied to such FMS functions as scheduling. In this paper, we present an Intelligent Scheduling System for FMS under development that makes use of the integration of two AI technologies. These two AI technologies — Neural Networks and Expert Systems — provide the intelligence that the scheduling function requires in order to generate goodschedules within the restrictions imposed by real-time problems. Because the system has the ability to plan ahead and learn, it has a higher probability of success than conventional approaches. The adaptive behavior that will be achieved contribute to the integration of scheduling and control in FMS.  相似文献

The present paper discusses the mechanical properties of J-shaped steel hysteresis devices, abbreviated to “J-dampers”, interposed between the upper structure of a spatial structure and its substructure. The mechanical properties of a J-damper, which are characterized by its key geometrical and material parameters, are evaluated through parametric analyses using an in-house Finite Element program. The hysteresis behavior of a J-damper is also modeled by a bi-linear elasto-plastic hysteresis model with the strain-hardening effect. Its elastic stiffness, yield strength and dimensionless hardening ratio, which are expressed as functions of the parameters, are formulated on the basis of mathematical models and the results of parametric studies. Finally, some remarks relevant to the application of the proposed hysteresis model are made for the design of the J-damper.  相似文献

The fracture behaviour of a brittle coating on a substrate is not only governed by its intrinsic fracture strength, but also by a range of other parameters. In order to be able to understand (and thus predict) the fracture response, it is very important to accurately determine the key coating properties such as elastic modulus, residual stresses and fracture strength. In the present work, the fracture behaviour of three different high velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) sprayed WC–17% Co coatings on Ti–6Al–4V substrates was studied using four-point bending with the acoustic emission technique. The key coating properties were determined experimentally and finite element (FE) models incorporating these experimentally measured properties were used to predict the cracking behaviour. It was found that the FE model was able to predict the differences in the fracture responses of the three coating types based upon differences in their mechanical properties, which in turn enabled the properties which dominate the fracture response to be identified. Moreover, the ability to predict the fracture behaviour of the coatings provided validation of the physical basis of the FE model.  相似文献

A liquid crystal (LC) photonic device with an anisotropic optical heterojunction structure has been fabricated. The device has a phase‐retarding nematic LC (NLC) layer sandwiched between two polymer cholesteric LC films with right‐handed helices of different pitches. Electrotunable non‐reciprocal light transmittance and unidirectional circularly polarized (CP) lasing emission have been successfully demonstrated for this device structure. Two left CP (LCP) lasing emission peaks are observed at the edges of the overlapping region between the two photonic bands in the structure and are shifted upon the application of a voltage. In contrast, a non‐reciprocal right CP (RCP) lasing emission peak emerges at one of the band edges and diminishes upon the application of a voltage. These phenomena are interpreted based on the selective reflection of RCP light and the reorientation of the NLC molecules by the application of a voltage.  相似文献

在镁铬耐火材料中添加纳米Fe2O3,研究了它对镁铬耐火材料烧结性能与常温力学性能的影响.结果发现,在相同的工艺条件下,加入1%(外加)的纳米Fe2O3即可使镁铬砖的烧成温度降低150℃左右,并在相同烧成温度下能使试样的常温抗折强度和耐压强度大幅度提高.分析认为,在镁铬耐火材料中添加少量纳米级Fe2O3,可促进MgO-FeO固溶体中Cr3+和Al3+含量的提高,增强镁铬砖的直接结合程度,从而提高其力学性能.  相似文献

Lifeline systems are vulnerable to two types of hazards arising from potential earthquake sources. These are the hazard of a fault-rupture strike on elements of a lifeline system and the hazard of overstress induced in different elements of the system because of the ground vibration. An optimum design method is presented in this paper for the design of a lifeline system for a maximum accepted probability of failure because of any of the two modes of failure. The method may be used to determine an optimum path between a number of fixed points which represent supply or demand stations in the system.  相似文献

用自蔓燃高温合成(SHS)技术及电弧熔融法制备的(Nb,Ti)C固溶体作基体,制备(Nb,Ti)C-35Ni金属陶瓷。结果表明用电弧熔融法制备的(Nb,Ti)C为基的试样具较优的室温力学性能(σ=1630MPa,KIC=18.0MPa),其陶瓷颗粒均匀分行粘结相之中并是包裹结构;而用SHS法制备的(Nb,Ti)C为基的试样其力学性能相对较差,其陶瓷颗粒无包裹结构.  相似文献
