The phase-change memory (PCM) technology is considered as one of the most attractive non-volatile memory concepts for next generation data storage. It relies on the ability of a chalcogenide material belonging to the Ge-Sb-Te compound system to reversibly change its phase between two stable states, namely the poly-crystalline low-resistive state and the amorphous high-resistive state, allowing the storage of the logical bit. A careful study of the phase-change material properties in terms of the set operation performance, the program window and the electrical switching parameters as a function of composition is very attractive in order to enlarge the possible PCM application spectrum. Concerning the set performance, a crystallization kinetics based interpretation of the observed behavior measured on different Ge-Sb-Te compounds is provided, allowing a physics-based comprehension of the reset-to-set transition. 相似文献

Abstract This article is aimed to prepare the blends of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) with fatty acids (lauric, myristic, palmitic, and stearic acids) as shape-stabilized phase change material (PCM), to prove the miscibility of fatty acids with the PVA by microscopic investigation and infrared (IR) spectroscopy, and to measure their melting temperature and the latent heat of fusion by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis methods. In the blends, the fatty acids, which are dispersed in the solid network of the polymer, act as latent heat thermal energy storage (LHTES) material during its solid-liquid phase change when the polymer (PVA) has function of supporting material because of its structural strength. Therefore, the shape-stabilized fatty acids can keep the same shape in a solid shape without leakage of liquid fatty acids by aid of PVA in solid state. The maximum mixture ratio for all fatty acids in the shape-stabilized form was found as 50 wt%. By using DSC analysis method, the melting temperatures and latent heats of the shape-stabilized lauric, myristic, palmitic and stearic acids were determined as 39.8, 50.2, 56.2, and 67.4°C and 96.4, 105.3, 121.6, and 132.6 J/g, respectively. The results indicate that the PVA/fatty acids blends as shape-stabilized PCM have great potential for passive solar LHTES applications in terms of their satisfactory thermal properties and utility advantage of without encapsulation. 相似文献

Cool thermal energy storage (CTES) is an advanced energy technology that has recently attracted increasing interest for industrial refrigeration applications such as process cooling, food preservation and building air conditioning systems. An experimental investigation on the performance of an industrial refrigeration system integrated with encapsulated phase change material (PCM)‐based CTES system is carried out in the present work. In the experimental set‐up a vertical storage tank is integrated with the evaporator of the vapour compression refrigeration system. Effect of the inlet temperature of heat transfer fluid (HTF) on the temperature variation of the PCM and the HTF in the storage tank and the performance parameters namely average rate of charging, energy stored, specific energy consumption (SEC) of the chiller with and without storage system are studied in detail. The effect of porosity variation in the storage tank is also studied. A 1°C decrease in evaporator temperature results in about 3–4% increase in SEC and 1°C decrease in condensing temperature leads to 2.25–3.25% decrease in SEC. In this paper, a simple two‐dimensional theoretical model based on enthalpy formulation of a latent heat storage system has been developed to study the effects of thermo physical properties of heat exchanger container materials on the thermal performance of the storage system. Numerical results show that thermal conductivity, specific heat and density of the heat exchanger container materials increases, the melting time of the PCM decreases. Numerical results also show that high value of thermal conductivity of the heat exchanger container materials did not make significant contribution on the melt fraction. It is also found that initial temperature of the PCM does not have very important effects on the melting time, while the boundary wall temperature play an important role during melting. 在飞行试验中光电经纬仪主要用于获取飞机及外挂物的运动参数,由于被测目标距离较远或被遮挡时难以快速捕获目标,通常需要利用外引导方式辅助光电经纬仪进行对目标的捕获。飞机上加装GPS接收机后,可实时获取其大地坐标数据,对该数据实时采集并通过 PCM 遥测通道进行编码传输,地面接收该信号能够解调出飞机的实时位置坐标。通过在光电经纬仪上集成遥测PCM接收通道,实时接收机载下传的PCM信息流,提取出飞机的大地坐标数据,经数据处理后转发给光电经纬仪控制系统,驱动光电经纬仪快速捕获目标,从而能够实现对光电经纬仪的外引导。通过对引导数据的分析表明,引导精度能够满足光电经纬仪对目标快速捕获的需求,利用该技术在实际应用中取得了良好效果。 相似文献
