理解开发者的合作行为是促进开源社区协作开发的关键一步。已有文献主要对社区成员的加入与迁移展开研究,而对社区中已有开发者之间的实际合作行为关注甚少。主要从开发者的交互关系与个人技能两个角度出发,探析社区已有开发者如何建立新合作以及哪些因素影响他们的合作。应用Sourceforge.net平台公开的数据进行实验,结果表明不同的开发者的偏好合作模式不同,拓扑距离上的优势(“朋友的朋友”关系)对开发者间首次合作的影响不大,开发者之前的合作次数越多越有利于他们 再次建立合作,而开发环境(操作系统)与开发者(管理)经验对合作也有明显的影响。所得结论有助于提高开源社区已有开发者的合作意识,促进社区的稳定与可持续性。 相似文献

为了使机器人适应更广泛、更复杂的任务需求,实现人与机器人的协作与共融,精确并实时地计算人与机器人之间的相对距离成为了不可避免的问题.针对该问题,提出了一种协作环境下的人机距离建模方法以及计算人机间最小距离的迭代算法.首先,利用机器人的3D模型构建机器人结构特征,并通过3D视觉传感器提取人体骨骼特征,将以上2组特征映射到同一坐标空间中建立协作环境下的人机距离模型.然后,在此模型的基础上迭代计算人与机器人间的最小距离并给出对应的空间位置点.最后以ABB公司的YuMi机器人为测试对象进行人机最小距离测量实验,实验结果表明该方法降低了建模难度、实现了计算的实时性,验证了该建模方法与迭代算法的有效性和实用性. 相似文献

Water treatment projects usually involve large capital investment. Design appraisal is crucial to ensure project quality and cost effectiveness. The aim of design appraisal is to give the design team an opportunity to evaluate a proposed solution at the design stage when the benefits for change are high and cost is low. Design appraisal is a collaborative decision-making process that requires good communication and knowledge sharing between all the team members. Unfortunately, at present in practice there are many communication bottlenecks that result in decisions being made without proper evaluation and appraisal. This paper presents a platform for developing, testing and executing synchronous collaborative applications in a distributed, heterogeneous environment. Even though several environments exist nowadays, specific problems are not treated satisfactorily. Especially in real network environments, problems like unstable network connections and low bandwidths have to be considered.The DreamTeam platform addresses the special needs of environments with non-optimal characteristics which can, be found in distance learning scenarios. DreamTeam comprises a development environment, a simulation environment and a runtime environment; it is based upon the concept of a fully decentralised architecture and encourages rapid prototyping.DreamTeam supports developers of shared applications through a component concept. Using components helps to divide a software project into well-defined parts. Well-documented interfaces help to reduce integration efforts and improve software quality. Organizations increasingly define many business processes as projects executed by virtual (project) teams, where team members from within an organization cooperate with outside experts. Virtual teams require and enable people to collaborate across geographical distance and professional (organizational) boundaries and have a somewhat stable team configuration with roles and responsibilities assigned to team members. Different people, coming from different organizations will have their own preferences and experiences and cannot be expected to undergo a long learning cycle before participating in team activities. Thus, efficient communication, coordination, and process-aware collaboration remain a fundamental challenge. In this paper we discuss the current shortcomings of approaches in the light of virtual teamwork (mainly Workflow, Groupware, and Project Management) based on models and underlying metaphors. Furthermore, we present a novel approach for virtual teamwork by tightly integrating all associations between processes, artifacts, and resources. Open source projects leverage a large number of people to review products and improve code quality. Differences among participants are inevitable and important to this collaborative review process—participants with different expertise, experience, resources, and values approach the problems differently, increasing the likelihood of finding more bugs and fixing the particularly difficult ones. To understand the impacts of member differences on the open source software peer review process, we examined bug reports of Mozilla Firefox. These analyses show that the various types of member differences increase workload as well as frustration and conflicts. However, they facilitate situated learning, problem characterization, design review, and boundary spanning. We discuss implications for work performance and community engagement, and suggest several ways to leverage member differences in the open source software peer review process. 相似文献

ABSTRACTRobots and chatbots are sophisticated. Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly popular in the financial industry due to its ability to provide customers with cheap, efficient and personalised services. This article uses doctrinal sources and a case study to show that many banks and FinTech start-ups are investing in AI. Yet, there are a number of challenges arising from the use of AI which could undermine trust and confidence amongst consumers. This article features the issue of bias and discrimination in banking. There is evidence that algorithms discriminate against certain races and gender. Legislative gaps in the Equality Act 2010 and the General Data Protection Regime will be analysed. Ultimately, human beings are still needed to input, train and help machines to learn. Fortunately, the FCA are leading in regulating technology, from the launch of regulatory sandboxes to their co-operative collaboration with FinTech start-ups on regulatory matters. Augmented intelligence collaboration is needed to enable industry players and regulators to provide seamless regulation and financial stability.
