利用ANSYS软件,模拟了振动诱导单螺杆挤出机熔体输送段中非牛顿幂律流体的三维脉动流场,得到了三维脉动流场的瞬时速度分布及螺槽中物料的流动轨迹。结果表明,在脉动流场作用下,非牛顿流体的瞬时速度响应与在驱动壁面上所施加的正弦形式的脉动驱动形式不同,横螺槽方向的环流中心位置受幂律指数影响,且发生周期性改变。振动的引入使得在相同的时间内,物料的流动路程增加,且可增大物料的平均停留时间,有利于改善混合效果。 相似文献

Plastic injection molding machine that can be classified as reciprocating extruders are among the most widely used machines in industry. However, most studies in the injector design were based on steady state models developed for extruders that involved no reciprocation. This over-simplified model leaves out the most important aspect of reciprocation. The authors of this paper have derived a transient melting model that takes care of the change from the conventional steady extrusion to that of a discontinuous transient process. This paper describes simulations conducted on the derived model to explain observation that cannot be explained by the steady extrusion model in practical experiments. The simulation was conducted by using parameters given in Donovan's experiment [Polym Engng, 11 (1971) 353]. The simulation results are found to qualitatively match with the experimental results. It proves the validity of the model. Simulation has also been conducted with the model on materials that their viscosities are temperature and shear rate dependent. The result has shown that screw rotation speed, screw axial movement speed, barrel thickness, barrel heat capacity, temperature of heater and polymer are factors affecting the melting speed and the transient effects. 相似文献

Waste ground rubber tire (WGRT) is a complex composite containing various elastomers, carbon black, zinc oxide, stearic acid, processing oils, and other curatives. Most of the waste ground rubber tire is composed of mainly natural rubber (NR) and styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) in varying proportions. Blending it with other thermoplastic materials is difficult due to the inherent thermodynamic incompatibility. But, the compatibility can be increased by making the reactive sites in WGRT with suitable chemicals under optimum condition of shearing inside a twin screw extruder and it is said to undergo a dynamic reaction inside the extruder. To understand the mechanism of dynamic reaction process of a rubber/polyolefin blend, the blending of a truck tire model material rubber with polyolefin was first tried before it was applied to waste WGRT material. It was observed that the blends of a truck tire model rubber material and PP thermoplastic are physical mixture of two incompatible polymers in which a continuous plastic phase is largely responsible for the tensile properties. The rubber particles are the dispersed phase. The large particle size and the poor adhesion of these rubber particles are believed to be liable for the poor tensile properties. In case of blends of truck tire model material with isotactic polypropylene the tensile properties are found to be lower than that of its PP‐g‐MA counterpart which can be attributed to the reaction of the MA with the carbon black particles. A schematic representation of the possible interactions has been proposed. The effect of addition of compatibilizers such as SEBS and SEBS‐g‐MA has also been studied. The tensile and TGA studies indicate that the polarity of SEBS and SEBS‐g‐MA induces an increase in the performance characteristics for both types of polyolefins but the intensity of this increase is higher in the PP‐g‐MA based blends. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 运用正交回归试验方法,在Φ橡胶冷喂料挤出机实验台上,研究了螺杆主要参数(长径比,螺旋角,螺槽深度,螺杆几何压缩比)及主要挤出工艺、物性参数(螺杆转速、机头口型,胶料种类)对橡胶冷喂料挤出机机头压力的影响。对各实验因素及实验结果做了统计分析,确定了上述各因素对冷喂挤出机机头压力影响的显著因素,得出了机头压力与螺杆及工艺、物性参数之间的定量计算数学模型。 相似文献

The effects of polypropylene (PP) and ultrasonic irradiation on the processing and mechanical properties of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) are studied. The results show that PP can effectively improve the fluidity and mechanical properties of UHMWPE. The Izod notched impact strength increases from 92 kJ/m2 for pure UHMWPE to 109.2 kJ/m2 for the blend of UHMWPE with 10 wt % PP. The Young's modulus increases from 528 MPa for pure UHMWPE to 1128 MPa when 25 wt % PP is contained in the blend, and the yield strength also rises when PP is added. The application of ultrasonic vibrations during extrusion can prominently decrease the die pressure and apparent viscosity of the melt, thus increasing the output of extrudate. An appropriate ultrasonic intensity and irradiation time can further promote the mechanical properties, while an overdose of irradiation destroys them. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
