This paper proposes a method to design stabilizing state feedback control laws for nonlinear quadratic systems subject to input saturation. Based on a quadratic Lyapunov function, a modified sector condition and a particular representation for the quadratic terms, synthesis conditions in a “quasi”-LMI form are stated in a regional (local) context. An LMI-based optimization problem is then derived for computing the state feedback gains maximizing the estimate of the stability region of the closed-loop system.  相似文献

In this paper we deal with some finite-time control problems for discrete-time, time-varying linear systems. First we provide necessary and sufficient conditions for finite-time stability; these conditions require either the computation of the state transition matrix of the system or the solution of a certain difference Lyapunov inequality. Then we address the design problem. The proposed conditions allow us to find output feedback controllers which stabilize the closed loop system in the finite-time sense; all these conditions can be expressed in terms of LMIs and therefore are numerically tractable, as shown in the example included in the paper.  相似文献

A criterion for the global asymptotic stability of fixed-point state-space digital filters using two’s complement arithmetic is presented. The criterion is a modified form of a well-known criterion due to Mills, Mullis, and Roberts. The criterion is in the form of linear matrix inequality and, hence, computationally tractable. We consider a class of output feedback stabilization problems for chemostats with two species. We design dilution rate feedbacks that stabilize a componentwise positive equilibrium. Our feedbacks only depend on the sum of the species levels. The novelty of our treatment is in our dropping the usual condition on the relative sizes of the growth yield constants.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of robust stability of uncertain genetic regulatory networks (GRNs) with interval time-varying delays. We derive some new delay-range-dependent and delay-derivative-dependent/independent stability criteria by employing some free-weighting matrices and linear matrix inequalities. In our analysis, we carefully consider the relationship between the time-varying state delays and their bounds when calculating the upper bound of the derivative of Lyapunov functional. We hence show that, the rigorous requirement of other literatures that the time-derivatives of time-varying delays must be smaller than one is abandoned in the proposed scheme. The new criteria are applicable to both fast and slow time-varying delays. Finally, four numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness and the less conservativeness of the developed results.  相似文献

A delay‐dependent criterion for the global asymptotic stability of a class of uncertain discrete‐time state‐delayed systems using various combinations of quantization and overflow nonlinearities is presented. This paper investigates fast finite‐time control of nonlinear dynamics using terminal sliding‐mode (TSM) scheme. Some new norms of fast TSM strategies are proposed, and a faster convergence rate is established in comparison with the conventional fast TSM. A novel concept of nonsingular fast TSM, which is able to avoid the possible singularity during the control phase, is adopted in the robust high‐precision control of uncertain nonlinear systems. The stability of Boolean networks and the stabilization of Boolean control networks are investigated. Using semi‐tensor product of matrices and the matrix expression of logic, the dynamics of a Boolean (control) network can be converted to a discrete time linear (bilinear) dynamics, called the algebraic form of the Boolean (control) network. Then the stability can be revealed by analyzing the transition matrix of the corresponding discrete time system. Main results consist of two parts: (i) Using logic coordinate transformation, the known sufficient condition based on incidence matrix has been improved. It can also be used in stabilizer design. (ii) Based on algebraic form, necessary and sufficient conditions for stability and stabilization, respectively, are obtained. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a new sufficient condition for absolute stability of Lure system with two additive time-varying delay components. This criterion is expressed as a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be readily tested by using standard numerical software. We use this new criterion to stabilize a class of nonlinear time-delay systems. Some numerical examples are given to illustrate the applicability of the results using standard numerical software.  相似文献
