Driven by economical and ecological reasons, thermoplastic-based coatings become a potential solution for anti-wear purpose. Two coating design concepts, flame spraying and printing PEEK (poly-ether-ether-ketone)-based coatings on Al substrate, were introduced in this paper. An amorphous PEEK coating was obtained by these two techniques. After being annealed, the coating presents a semi-crystalline structure. The friction and wear behaviors of PEEK-based coatings were investigated by means of ball-on-disc tests. The results show that PEEK coatings exhibit an excellent tribological performance with a relatively low coefficient of friction and wear rate. The semi-crystalline PEEK coating exhibits a lower friction coefficient and wear rate than the amorphous one. The additions of micron-sized particles such as SiC and graphite in PEEK coating can improve significantly the coating wear resistance.  相似文献

Californium-252 plasma desorption mass spectrometry (PDMS) hasbeen employed for the characterization of a series of humaninsulin derivatives in order to evaluate the performance ofthis technique as an analytical tool in protein engineering.Several of the characterized modifications result in a 1 a.m.u.mass change. The precision in mass determination obtainableby PDMS analysis is not sufficient for unambiguous verificationof such modifications based on the molecular weight alone. Itis, however, possible to carry out in situ enzymatic digestionof the sample. Subsequent PDMS analysis will in most cases revealif the modification has been introduced as intended.  相似文献

This study examines in detail the influence of low‐temperature plasma and biopolymer chitosan treatments on wool dyeability. Wool knitted fabrics were treated and characterized by whiteness and shrink‐resistance measurements. Surface modification was assessed by contact‐angle measurements of human hair fibers, which were used as a model to study the wetting properties of the treated wool knitted fabrics. The dyeing behavior was assessed from the diffusion mechanism point of view. The dyeing kinetics were measured at two different pHs (4.2 and 6.5) and three different temperatures (60, 85, and 100°C) to gain information about the contribution of the surface modification treatment to the dyeing mechanism. The exhaustion and reflectance data were compared, and the apparent diffusion coefficients were calculated. On the basis of the obtained results, a model for the dyeing mechanism of the chitosan treated wool was proposed. When treated with chitosan, the polymer sheath spread on the surface of the fibers acted as a predominant dyeing site in very short dyeing times, thus interacting with the dye and in later stages imparting the dye to the wool fiber. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 用放电等离子烧结(spark plasma sintering,SPS)技术,以质量分数(下同)为9%氮化铝(A1N),3%氧化镁(MgO)为烧结助剂,在1850℃烧结5min,成功制备了半透明氮化硅(Si3N4)陶瓷.半透明Si3N4陶瓷在中红外波段表现出良好的透过率,最大透过率为66.4%.SPS的快速致密化过程保证了烧结体具有良好的晶体结构,有利于提高透过率.SPS快速的烧结过程和A1N和MgO的加入能够有效抑制烧结过程中Si3N4陶瓷由α相向β相的转变,是制备光学性能良好的Si3N4陶瓷的关键.报道了半透明Si3N4陶瓷的其他性能.光学性能与其他性能的结合,势必大大拓宽Si3N4陶瓷的应用领域.  相似文献

This study investigates the growth mechanism of IC compatible processes and to the feasibility of synthesizing networks of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) at lower temperatures (610 °C) on Si wafer using microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition (MPCVD) with CH4 and H2 as source gases. The effects of the buffer layer materials (ZnS–SiO2, Al2O3, AlON, and AlN ) and process conditions on growth of carbon nanostructures with Co as catalyst were also examined, where the buffer layers and Co catalyst were deposited in sequence by physical vapor deposition (PVD), followed by H-plasma pretreatment before deposition of carbon nanostructures. Additionally, the morphologies and bonding structures of carbon nanostructures were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), and Raman Spectroscopy. Analytical results demonstrate that networks of SWNTs are more favorable to be synthesized by selecting proper buffer layer material (e.g., AlON), and under higher temperatures, thinner catalyst thickness (e.g., 5 nm) and lower CH4 / H2 ratio (e.g., 5 / 100 sccm/sccm). The networks of SWNTs can be fabricated at temperatures as low as 610 °C by manipulating these parameters. In conclusion, the growth mechanism determines the conditions for the formation of nano-sized extrusions on catalyst particles surface.  相似文献

The wetting properties of polystyrene‐based ionomers treated with plasma source ion implantation (PSII) were investigated by the measurement of water contact angles. When sulfonated ionomers were aged for a few days, the hydrophobic recovery for the ionomers became much slower than that for the nonionic polymers. However, when the samples were aged over 20 days, the water contact angle of the ionomers converged with that of the nonionic polymer. Thus, it was concluded that the ionic interaction between the ionic groups and the presence of ionic groups together resulted in the slow hydrophobic recovery and that the aging effect was significant for the ionomers. For the methacrylate ionomer of low ion content, on the other hand, it was found that the PSII treatment produced only a small change in hydrophobic recovery behavior. Thus, it was suggested that the low ionic content coupled with the small size of the ionic unit might cause changes only of a very insignificant degree in hydrophobic recovery behavior. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 本文主要介绍了用微波等离子体化学气相沉积法(以下简称MP CVD法)以甲醇-氢气混合气和丙酮-氢气混合气为源气体,分别以单晶硅的(111)面和人造金刚石的(100)面为衬底材料,制备出了面积为20mm×20mm厚为10μm的多晶金刚石膜和面积为1.0mm×1.0mm厚为5μm的单晶金刚石膜。通过试验发现,源气体配比和衬底温度对薄膜质量起决定性作用。另外,衬底在反应腔中的位置对薄膜的生成也有很大影响。单晶金刚石膜制备过程中衬底金刚石的晶体取向与金刚石薄膜的生长及质量有密切的关系。在金刚石的(100),(110)和(111)面上分别获得了单晶金刚石膜和金刚石多晶粒子。选用扫描电镜、显微激光拉曼、反射电子衍射对多晶金刚石膜及单晶金刚石膜的性能进行了测试。  相似文献

本文对一种等离子体煤气化反应器内部湍流、两相流动和燃烧化学反应等复杂流动现象进行了三维数值模拟 ,得出了其内部的温度分布、速度分布和组分浓度分布 ,在对计算结果进行分析的基础上 ,提出了等离子体煤气化反应器的一种优化设计方案 ,并对此方案进行了不同等离子体流速下的数值模拟和比较分析 ,以确定气流参数的最佳匹配 ;数值分析结果表明 :改进的设计方案和气流参数匹配提高了等离子体热源利用的效率和煤气转化的效率  相似文献
