A series of alloy elements, including the detrimental, neutral, and beneficial elements for bulk alloying into q31162mlx2q21v21/xxlarge947.gif" alt="gamma" align="MIDDLE" BORDER="0"> -TiAl base intermetallics, i.e., V, Cr, Y, Er, Nb, and W, has been implanted into a q31162mlx2q21v21/xxlarge947.gif" alt="gamma" align="MIDDLE" BORDER="0"> -Ti–50Al intermetallic in order to explore the mechanism of high-temperature oxidation resistance for the ion-implanted intermetallic. The oxidation resistance was investigated under cyclic-oxidation conditions at oxidation temperatures from 800 to 1000°C for 200 hr in air. At a lower oxidation temperature of 800°C, the V-ion implantation has a detrimental effect on the oxidation resistance of Ti–50Al, while a neutral and beneficial effect was observed for Er-, Y- and Cr-, Nb-, W-ion implantation, respectively. At 900°C, V-, Er-, Y-, and Cr-ion implantation all showed a neutral effect, whereas Nb- and W-ion implantation apparently improved the oxidation resistance. With increasing oxidation temperature to 1000°C, Y- and Cr-ion implantation kept the neutral effect, and the beneficial effect of Nb-ion implantation disappeared gradually. Mechanical properties and deformation/fracture behavior were investigated. For q9562/xxlarge945.gif" alt="agr" align="BASELINE" BORDER="0">-Fe2O3, brittle fracture resulted at 1150–1250°C and the fracture strain was below 4.0% at a strain rate of 2.0×10–4 s–1. q9562/xxlarge947.gif" alt="gamma" align="MIDDLE" BORDER="0"> -Fe3O4 deformed plastically above 800°C. Steady-state deformation was indicated at 1200°C; elongation of 110% was obtained. Plastic deformation observed at 800 to 1100°C was considered to result from dislocation glide. Using TEM, the Burgers vector of dislocations observed in deformed q9562/xxlarge947.gif" alt="gamma" align="MIDDLE" BORDER="0"> -Fe3O4 was determined to be <110>, its slip system was estimated to be {111}<110>. FeO deformed plastically above 700°C. Steady-state deformation became predominant above 1000°C. Elongation of 160% was obtained at 1200°C. Strain rates of FeO at 1000°C and 1200°C were proportional to the fourth power of the saturated stress, indicating that plastic deformation was affected by dislocation climb. 相似文献

The inefficient extracellular electron transfer (EET) is detrimental to power generation and waste degradation in microbial fuel cells (MFCs). Herein, we report a self-supporting anode for MFCs prepared by graphitization of steamed bread slices followed by in-situ polymerization to fabricate polyaniline@N-doped macroporous carbon foam (PANI@NMCF). The natural nitrogen-containing wheat flour was fermented and carbonized to form NMCF with a high specific surface area of 818.1 m2 g?1. After the NMCF surface modified by PANI, the enhanced hydrophilicity and conductivity of the PANI@NMCF anode would facilitate microbial adhesion, biofilm formation, and electron transfer. The surface improvements enhance the EET process for high-performance MFCs, including a short startup time of 21.7 h, high maximum output power density of 1160 ± 17 mW m?2, and decolourisation efficiency of 88.6 ± 1.2% for 36 h. The chemical oxygen demand removal efficiency was about 84.6 ± 1.1% at end of the operating cycles. This work provides a good foundation for our future development of carbon-based electrode materials for energy conversion and storage devices. 相似文献

利用MMS-200热模拟试验机、Imager M2m光学显微镜、JSM-6490LV扫描电镜和FV-ARS9000全自动维氏硬度计,对高强度桥梁钢Q690q在细晶奥氏体(晶粒度10级)、粗晶奥氏体(晶粒度6.5级)和细晶形变奥氏体(晶粒度10.5级、压缩变形30%)3种奥氏体状态下的连续冷却转变行为进行了比较研究。结果表明,冷却速率相同时,细晶奥氏体使相变开始温度、转变速率峰值温度和相变结束温度升高,而粗晶奥氏体有助于板条贝氏体和板条马氏体等中低温组织生成,而且生成的板条变得更为细长,但组织中原奥氏体晶界更清晰可见,其硬度明显提高;细晶奥氏体变形后,相变开始温度和转变速率峰值温度更高,从而使铁素体变得粗大,但能减少珠光体转变、促使无碳贝氏体生成,其硬度在冷却速率较低时比细晶奥氏体时要大,冷却速率较高时二者的硬度相差不大。 相似文献

Neurofibromatosis type 2 is an autosomal dominant tumor-prone disorder mainly caused by NF2 point mutations or intragenic deletions. Few individuals with a complex phenotype and 22q12 microdeletions have been described. The 22q12 microdeletions’ pathogenic effects at the genetic and epigenetic levels are currently unknown. We here report on 22q12 microdeletions’ characterization in three NF2 patients with different phenotype complexities. A possible effect of the position was investigated by in silico analysis of 22q12 topologically associated domains (TADs) and regulatory elements, and by expression analysis of 12 genes flanking patients’ deletions. A 147 Kb microdeletion was identified in the patient with the mildest phenotype, while two large deletions of 561 Kb and 1.8 Mb were found in the other two patients, showing a more severe symptomatology. The last two patients displayed intellectual disability, possibly related to AP1B1 gene deletion. The microdeletions change from one to five TADs, and the 22q12 chromatin regulatory landscape, according to the altered expression levels of four deletion-flanking genes, including PIK3IP1, are likely associated with an early ischemic event occurring in the patient with the largest deletion. Our results suggest that the identification of the deletion extent can provide prognostic markers, predictive of NF2 phenotypes, and potential therapeutic targets, thus overall improving patient management. 相似文献

To achieve the ever-stringent sustainable goals, this paper aims to synthesize a heat integrated hydrogen regeneration network (HIHRN) using a graph-theoretic-based sequential method. Firstly, the optimal and near-optimal structures for a hydrogen regeneration networks (HRN) are determined using P-graph model with consideration of both impurity and pressure constraints. These networks are then used as inputs in P-HENS software to generate a list of optimal and near-optimal heat exchanger network (HEN) structures. An eight source and sink problem is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. There are 199,677 feasible HIHRN structures identified, while the 6 near-optimal solutions which are within 0.05% tolerance of the optimal network cost (i.e., less than 33.04 M$/y) are presented together with the top four HEN designs that can offer comparable costs (~115,500 $/y). In addition, the impacts of pressure swing adsorber (PSA) pressure drop consideration and minimum temperature difference on the optimal design are also presented. 相似文献
