The present work illustrates the effect of quasi-hydrostatic pressure on the positions and widths of the homogeneity ranges of the intermetallic phases TiFe and TiFe2 at high temperatures. The experiments were performed with Ti–Fe diffusion couples that were heat treated in a multi-anvil press at 2.5 GPa. The solubility limits of the phases were derived from the concentration profiles that were measured using electron probe microanalysis. It was found that the homogeneity ranges of TiFe and TiFe2 extend to higher titanium concentrations, if the pressure is applied. The positions of the phase boundaries of the intermetallics on the iron-rich side are not affected by the pressure. The accuracy of the experimental data including the homogeneity ranges and temperatures was verified by comparing the homogeneity ranges of β-Ti(Fe), α/δ-Fe(Ti) and γ-Fe measured in this study with the homogeneity ranges taken from literature. The effect of Co addition on the formation of Ni-Ti clusters in maraging stainless steel was studied by three dimensional atom probe (3DAP) and first-principles calculation. The cluster analysis based on the maximum separation approach showed an increase in size but a decrease in density of Ni-Ti clusters with increasing the Co content. The first-principles calculation indicated weaker Co-Ni (Co-Ti) interactions than Co-Ti (Fe-Ti) interactions, which should be the essential reason for the change of distribution characteristics of Ni-Ti clusters in bcc Fe caused by Co addition. 相似文献

An overview of the research on silver-based (Ag-Sn, Ag-Cu, Ag-Ni) and nickel-based (Cu-Ni, Au-Ni, Ni-Pt) bimetallic nanoparticles is presented. The investigated nanoparticles in this review are formed by elements that represent an important group of metals revealing fcc lattice under macro-sized conditions (with the exception of Sn). The effects of surface stabilizing layer of the alloy nanoparticles are also described. Our experience with synthesis, characterization and stabilization of alloy nanoparticles is summarized. The development of the nanoparticle synthesis represents an important and mandatory part of the experimental nanoalloy research. Main synthetic routes under focus are the low temperature borohydride reduction method, the high temperature oleylamine synthesis, and the high pressure method in autoclave. The subsequent structural studies are focused on both nanoparticle core and outer stabilizing layer. The cores of the nanoparticles are studied mainly by electron microscopy techniques. The phase stability of the nanoparticle core is investigated by thermal analysis. The Knudsen effusion mass spectrometry was applied for studies of stabilizing organic molecules that can be found on the surface of the nanoparticles. 采用旋转氧弹法、高压差示扫描量热法等方法研究了5种酚类抗氧剂对6种润滑油基础油氧化安定性的改善效果。结果表明:向加氢基础油中加入0.25%(质量分数)抗氧剂2246-S和RHY510(含硫酚类抗氧剂),可使HVIWH125,HVIWH150,HVIWH500,KN4006,KN40105种润滑油基础油的诱导期由27~88min提高到226~397min;使HVIWH125,HVIWH150,HVIWH300,HVIWH500,KN4006,KN40106种润滑油基础油的起始氧化温度由193.34~198.90℃提高到205.48~230.27℃。 相似文献

Fracture toughness (KIC) of representative high-strength type PAN (polyacrylonitrile)-based carbon fibers, Torayca™ T300 and T800H, with or without artificial surface defects, were estimated to be ca. 1 MPam1/2 from the tensile strength vs. fracture mirror size relation, assuming a constant crack-to-mirror size ratio. The corresponding critical energy release rate (Γ) was ca. 7.4 J m−2, which was close to the value derived from the reported surface energies for a graphite crystal. Similar KIC values were obtained for the old-type PAN-based carbon fibers from the reported data by the use of the present estimation procedure. 相似文献

The mechanical properties of a medium molecular weight polyethylene (MMW‐PE) and an ultrahigh molecular weight PE (UHMW‐PE) binary mixture with different weight fractions crystallized from the melt at 0.1 and 450 MPa were studied. The tensile modulus, yield stress, and strain were obtained as a function of the weight fractions in the PE mixtures at 25 and 85°C. The tensile modulus in the sample crystallized at 0.1 MPa decreased from 1.5 GPa of pure MMW‐PE to about 0.4 GPa of pure UHMW‐PE with the UHMW‐PE content but it did not decrease with the UHMW‐PE in the sample crystallized at 450 MPa in testing at 25°C. A decreasing rate of the storage modulus E′ of UHMW‐PE in a dynamic measurement for the sample crystallized at 0.1 MPa with the temperature is larger than that of the sample crystallized at 450 MPa. To establish fast, nondestructive, and inexpensive methods for resistivity measurements of SiC wafers, different resistivity-measurement
techniques were tested for characterization of semi-insulating SiC wafers, namely, the four-point probe method with removable
graphite contacts, the van der Pauw method with annealed metal and diffused contacts, the current-voltage (I-V) technique,
and the contactless resistivity-measurement method. Comparison of different techniques is presented. The resistivity values
of the semi-insulating SiC wafer measured using different techniques agree fairly well. As a result, application of removable
graphite contacts is proposed for fast and nondestructive resistivity measurement of SiC wafers using the four-point probe
method. High-temperature van der Pauw and room-temperature Hall characterization for the tested semi-insulating SiC wafer
