A novel method of suppressing the inrush current of transformers by using a series‐connected voltage‐source PWM converter

This paper proposes a novel method of suppressing the inrush current of transformers. A small‐rated voltage‐source PWM converter is connected in series to the transformers through a matching transformer. As the connected PWM converter serves as a resistor for the source current, no inrush phenomena occurs. The required rating of the PWM converter, which serves as the damping resistor for the inrush phenomena, is 1/400 that of the main transformers in single‐phase circuits. In three‐phase circuits, it is 1/900. The basic principle of the proposed method is discussed. Digital computer simulation is implemented to confirm the validity and excellent practicability of the proposed method using the PSCAD/EMTDC. A prototype experimental model is constructed and tested. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can perfectly suppress the inrush phenomena. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 压水堆堆芯换料设计优化的研究

讨论压水堆堆芯换料设计优化问题，并研制一套实用的换料优化软件包，可用于低泄漏、外－内和改进的外－内装料方案的优化。在低泄漏方案优化时，利用哈林原理将燃料组件布置与可燃毒物配置的优化问题脱耦成两步优化问题。先用线性规划方法进行无可燃毒物时燃料组件布置的优化，然后再用可变容差法寻找可燃毒物的优化布置。应用该软件对秦山核电厂首次难芯换料方案进行了优化，提出了可供参考的一些优化布置方案。     

关于混凝土钻芯取样法有关标准的讨论

本文对国内不同行业有关混凝土钻总取样方法的标准进行了讨论，供月行在使用和修订相应标准时参考。     

水轮发电机定子浮动式双鸽尾筋调整工艺浅析

水轮发电机定子采用浮动式双鸽尾筋是当今设计上较为先进的结构,是防止定子铁心变形的重要措施之一,制造厂一般会提供安装调整的工艺措施,但此工艺措施更多的是检查的标准,对如何具体操作不够详细,安装调整完全依靠施工人员的经验进行。如何有针对性的分析调整工艺中的难点和易忽略点,提出更具指导性的调整工艺,成为了一个需研究的课题。     

不甩线圈的多星形移相变极

对于某些槽数和极数比的多星形移相变极电机,提出与前人不同的是在两种极数下均不甩去线圈的绕组方案,使绕组利用率高,且线圈及其联接都较简单.这种绕组方案在一种极数下并联支路略有不平衡,其所引起的电机定子铜耗的增加是极其有限的,不致影响电机的正常运行.     

Preparation of monodisperse poly(vinyl alcohol) microspheres by heterogeneous surface saponification and iodine complex formation

Monodisperse poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) microspheres with high molecular weight obtained by suspension polymerization of vinyl acetate were saponified in alkaline aqueous solution to keep their spherical structure. The saponification was restricted on the surface of the PVAc microspheres and obtained particles had skin/core structure. Various poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) microspheres with different diameters and degrees of saponification (DSs) were obtained. The conversion of PVAc to PVA during the heterogeneous surface saponification time were examined by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and after 72 h hydrogel type PVA microspheres completely saponified were obtained. The crystal melting temperatures of the microspheres obtained by the saponification were measured a constant value of 238°C irrespective of varying DS, and the peaks became enlarged as reaction time. Iodine complexes were formed in saponified microspheres with DS of 41% and 99% by immersing them in I₂/KI aqueous solution and decomposed by the reduction of I₂ in the complexes to 2I^? using sodium sulfite to confirm whether the skin formed through the saponification was composed of PVA with high VA content. Obviously, characteristic blue color developments owing to I₅^?‐PVA complexes were observed in both saponified regions and a red in the PVAc core. Consequently, it was concluded that the PVA skins formed by heterogeneous surface saponification had high DSs. Such complexes endowed polymeric microspheres a good radiopacity which would be useful in clinical treatment of vascular diseases and were examined by X‐ray irradiation image. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Techniques and Apparatus for Measuring Rotational Core Losses of Soft Magnetic Materials

In many situations such as the cores of a rotating electrical machine and the T joints of a multiphase transformer, the local flux density varies with time in terms of both magnitude and direction, i.e. the flux density vector is rotating. Therefore, the magnetic properties of the core materials under the rotating flux density vector excitation should be properly measured, modeled and applied in the design and analysis of these electromagnetic devices. This paper presents an extensive review on the development of techniques and apparatus for measuring the rotational core losses of soft magnetic materials based on the experiences of various researchers in the last hundred years.     

聚酯装置熔体过滤器的国产化改造

熔体过滤器为聚酯装置关键设备,其国产化问题一直未能解决。该文通过对天津分公司200kt/a聚酯装置熔体过滤器改造方案的介绍,探讨了其国产化条件,分析了国产熔体过滤器的结构特点,并与进口过滤器进行了对比,提出了一些看法。
