Sex differences in interpersonal problems: A circumplex analysis.

The structure and magnitude of sex differences in interpersonal problems across several data sets were examined, guided by the interpersonal circumplex model and the structural summary method. Data were self-reported interpersonal difficulties, assessed with the 64-item version of the Inventory of Interpersonal Problems (IIP; L. M. Horowitz, S. E. Rosenberg, B. A. Baer, G. Ure?o, & V. S. Villase?or, 1988). In Study 1, the authors focused on sex differences at the level of specific interpersonal complaints (item level). In Study 2, the authors examined sex differences in octant scores of the IIP circumplex (scale level), in a reanalysis of archival data. The structural summary method was used to identify points of maximum difference between men and women in the interpersonal continuum and to estimate effect sizes. Results from the 2 studies converged in suggesting a dimension of difference involving problems in Hostile-Dominance vs. Friendly-Submission. The magnitude of effect size was consistent with previous reports in the personality literature. These sex differences appeared to be best explained by a one-dimensional model. 用于大截面传像光纤束的折衍混合光学系统设计

在大截面传像束前置光学物镜设计中,采用“负-正”型式的像方远心光路结构,很好地解决了镜头轴外像差校正和像面照度均匀性问题,同时使镜头结构紧凑、小型化。给出了前置物镜设计实例:工作波长0.8~1.1μm,焦距5mm,相对孔径为1:3.84,光学长度为47mm,视场角为60°。在光学耦接镜设计中采用物方远心光路结构,引入二元光学透镜,通过理论计算和ZEMAX光学软件优化,给出工作波长0.8~1.1μm,焦距33.6mm,光学长度为63.5mm,采用一个衍射面的耦接镜设计实例。该设计结果适用于单丝直径16μm,截面直径6mm的光纤传像束。

Drawing on methodologies and knowledge from across the sciences, their simulations have yielded previously unenvisioned complex functionalities that could transform the way we build.     

Epos – an instrument for the assessment of the ethical position in software development

Digital technology becomes more powerful, intelligent, pervasive and ubiquitous. Ethical aspects of this development have not yet drawn the appropriate attention of researchers and engineers. This paper presents an instrument that aims at measuring the individual ethical position with regard to the design and development of computer software. The development of the Epos tool was based on two data collections. The data of the first survey (n₁ = 147 participants) were used to select items and to determine the factorial structure of the questionnaire. Results show that the Epos instrument reliably assesses peoples’ ethical opinion with respect to five central components: (1) regulation, (2) data privacy, (3) domain specific knowledge, (4) societal responsibility and (5) company responsibility. In the second survey, we determined the stability of the instruments factor structure by assessing a sample of n₂?=?196 participants. A confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) supported the initial factor structure. Next steps and further implications are discussed regarding the final version of the questionnaire.

门票经济转型问题分析--以江西为例

目前我国景区门票价格一路高歌,这反映了我国旅游业的经济主要是靠门票经济为主导的经济模式。居高不下的门票价格让许多游客闻风丧胆,这样不利于旅游业长期的发展。短期的利益牺牲了许多游客对景区的第一印象,再加上我国景区里的娱乐开发单一,并且还存在小景点收费现象,这与可持续发展的理念相违背。本文揭示了当前旅游业目前实行的门票经济的现状,以江西景点为例,分析了目前存在的问题,并对存在的问题提出相应地解决对策。
