Improving the internship experience in the master of chemical engineering at the University of Granada

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the present status of the internship program of Master of Chemical Engineering at the University of Granada and establish a systematic model to annually acquaint the satisfaction of students. It will allow the improvement of the internship program according to the opinions of students. The authors have examined a total of 33 items grouped in 7 different blocks. The results showed that the majority of students were satisfied with the internship program. Students recognized that the possibility of carrying out the internship abroad and improve the soft skills are some of the advantages of the internship offer of master’s degree. In fact, most of them prolonged their training period in order to perform their final Master project in the research center where they had carried out their internship. Some aspects should be improved, namely the communication between the academic tutor and the students, the information and guidance in the internship selection or the proposal of practices in more varied sectors. The findings of the present study had let to propose improvements for the internship program.     

Synchronisation control of electric motors through adaptive disturbance cancellation

A master–slave synchronisation control problem is addressed for current-fed DC and permanent magnet synchronous motors with all uncertain parameters. A measurable exogenous rotor position reference signal, which belongs to the class of biased sinusoidal signals with uncertain bias, amplitude, angular frequency, phase, is to be tracked without assuming its a priori knowledge. An innovative modification of disturbance cancellation techniques allows to prove that an output feedback adaptive nonlinear control scheme, which simply generalises the classical internal-model-based input law, solves the aforementioned problem, with an overall stability proof concerning the entire closed-loop system. The practical effectiveness of the proposed approach is illustrated by experimental results.

PE防老化保温功能性母料及其挤吹棚膜的研制

本文介绍了ＰＥ挤吹棚膜的防老化保温功能复合体系及其功能母料和挤吹棚膜的生产工艺，通过不同棚膜的田间应用试验对复合体系的功能性进行了比较与分析。研制结果表明：复合体系的功能性显著，具有广阔应用前景。研制膜经自然老化田间试验六个月后，机械力学性能未发生明显变化，膜的透光性良好，手感柔软，其使用寿命是普通膜的２￣２．５倍。研制膜在自然田间试验中，棚内室温高于普通膜３￣５℃，棚内地温高１￣３℃，同时白天升     

Fracture toughness of a welded duplex stainless steel

The present work includes fracture toughness testing on 30 and 50 mm thick duplex stainless steel 2205 (22% Cr, 5.5% Ni, 3% Mo, 0.15% N). Base metal and submerged arc weldments (SAW) at subzero temperatures have been tested using full size three point bending. The evaluation of the results has been carried out using J-integral calculations and correlations to Charpy impact values. It is shown that the temperature dependence of the fracture toughness can be described by a transition temperature curve, the master curve. The reference temperature was evaluated to −143 and −101 °C for base and weld material respectively.
