For agents to collaborate in open multi-agent systems, each agent must trust in the other agents’ ability to complete tasks
and willingness to cooperate. Agents need to decide between cooperative and opportunistic behavior based on their assessment
of another agents’ trustworthiness. In particular, an agent can have two beliefs about a potential partner that tend to indicate
trustworthiness: that the partner is competent and that the partner expects to engage in future interactions. This paper explores an approach that models competence as an agent’s probability of successfully performing an action, and
models belief in future interactions as a discount factor. We evaluate the underlying decision framework’s performance given
accurate knowledge of the model’s parameters in an evolutionary game setting. We then introduce a game-theoretic framework
in which an agent can learn a model of another agent online, using the Harsanyi transformation. The learning agents evaluate
a set of competing hypotheses about another agent during the simulated play of an indefinitely repeated game. The Harsanyi
strategy is shown to demonstrate robust and successful online play against a variety of static, classic, and learning strategies

The paper describes the very first observations of the effect of pulsed gas injection to the coaxial accelerator during impulse plasma deposition (IPD) on the structure and properties of deposited material. As a test material a TiN coating deposited on high-speed steel substrates was chosen. The morphology and wear-resistance properties were determined. The structure obtained with modified IPD method is characterized by a crystalline structure built of rectangular nanograins (with size a few tens of nm) in contrast to the nanocrystalline structure based on three-dimensional (3D) agglomerates of nanoparticles typical for the standard IPD synthesis. The wear-resistance of the TiN coatings deposited in the modified IPD apparatus demonstrate very good properties with the best results more than ten times better compared with the uncoated steel substrates. 相似文献

过去我们教授学生如何绘图,这是一种高度个体化的技能。而随着BIM的出现、一种新的范式产生了,现在、可以通过在协作过程中从合作伙伴处收集到的知识模型来绘制图纸了,而个人技能价值也要给协作知识的领先性让步了。未来的学生需具备协作意识,问题是虽然对协作意识的需求是大家普遍认可的,但如何来满足这种需求,相关方面的教学做的还是不够。协作并非偶然。由于肯定有多方参与,在协作中需要仔细谨慎地构建信任,相较于设计和施工中的合作,行业间的合作有助于认识到如何达到创建信任的目的。信任源于三个步骤:"形成、实施和发展。"第一步"形成"指的是一种计算,包括合作协议、专业提供标准合同格式301(ConsensusDOCS 301)BIM附录,BIM执行计划和保密协议。第二步"实施"则是促进相互理解,即在此步骤中测试执行计划制订的协议,成功了则能促进理解,失败了则会产生猜疑。第三步"发展"和联结有关。联结信任是在特定情况(可发展稳定、持续的关系的情况)下演变的结果。成功的协作有助于达成长期的合作协议,此协议与风险型施工管理(CM-at-Risk),设计一建造和综合项目交付(IPD)之间的联系日益紧密。本文将重点关注和讨论这三个步骤,并将位于圣路易斯奥比斯波的加州州立理工大学的一个综合项目交付工作室作为学术实例。 相似文献

This study tested the effect of integrated product development (IPD) on the efficiency and innovation displayed in new product development (NPD) projects. IPD refers to the overlap, parallel execution, and concurrent workflow of activities. More than 600 employees from 62 R&D projects in one large hi-tech electronics organisation participated in the study. The degree to which the projects had actual IPD, innovated and worked efficiently were measured using the organisation's data collection system and questionnaires. Analysis was conducted at the project level. Seven regression models, as well as multiple comparison tests, were applied. The findings suggest that IPD is positively associated with efficiency and negatively with innovation. However, the trade-off between efficiency and innovation in NPD projects can be balanced, if the IPD level of implementation is tailored to the NPD project stages. Specifically, to successfully complete an NPD project, the emphasis in early stages must be on innovation so that it can assist teams seeking new ideas. Hence, management should implement a low level of IPD at this point. In later stages efficiency must be emphasised so it assists control, and co-ordination, and consequently, IPD should be implemented intensively. 相似文献

We study a spectrum sharing problem where multiple systems coexist and interfere with each other. First, an analysis is proposed for distributed spectrum sharing based on Prisoners’ Dilemma (PD) in Cognitive Radios (CRs). In one-shot game, selfish and rational CRs greedily full spread their own spectrum space in order to maximize their own rates, which leads to Nash Equilibrium (N.E.). But with long term in-teraction, i.e., Iterated Prisoner’s Dilemma (IPD), CRs can come to cooperate and acquire the social optimal point by using different evolutionary strategies such as Tit For Tat (TFT), Generous TFT (GTFT), etc. Also we compare the performances of the different evolutionary strategies in noise-free and noisy environments for two-player games. Finally, N-player IPD (N-IPD) is simulated to verify our conclusions that TFT is a good strategy for spectrum sharing in CRs. 相似文献
