Nowadays, near-infrared phosphor-converted light emitting diodes (NIR pc-LEDs) attract wide attention since the NIR spectroscopy technique can exert itself in many fields. However, most of the developed NIR phosphors are still not commercially viable, because of low internal/external quantum yield and poor thermal resistance. Therefore, it is urgent to develop an efficient irradiance and thermal stable NIR phosphor. In this work, the new GdAl3-x-yGay(BO3)4: xCr3+ phosphors, compared with the original phosphor (x = 0.03, y = 0), when x = 0.03, y = 0.2, the luminescence intensity increased by 2.1 times, and the thermal resistance jumped from 92.0% to 96.7%. At the same time, with the increase of Ga3+, the spectra were gradually red shifted and FWHM widened, attributing to the nephelauxetic effect and the electron-phonon coupling effect enhanced, respectively. Particularly, under 420 nm excitation, the internal and external quantum yield of GdAl2.77Ga0.2(BO3)4: 0.03Cr3+ were 93.4% and 35.5%, respectively, which is higher than the previous research. The electric-optical conversion efficiency of the pc-LED was 10.76%. Preozonation facilities were installed at the Los Angeles Aqueduct Filtration Plant originally to enhance coagulation assistance (microflocculation). The Surface Water Treatment Rule will amend this primary purpose to meeting disinfection standards. Additional ozone generation equipment and a revised ozone system operating strategy will be required to accomplish these changed objectives. The topics discussed in this paper are the considerations surrounding the development of a successful, cost-effective operating strategy. The treatment chemical ozone has now been successfully used in the United States in municipal water and wastewater plants for many years. To insure continuous, successful operations of these applications, operating obstacles had to be dealt with and overcome.
In this paper, examples of field operating problems and their solutions are described. The experiences at specific municipal water and wastewater installations are reviewed in detail. Discussed for each example are : the background and effects of the problem, the problem-solving process, and the eventual resolution of the problem. The examples include simple unit operations to entire processes.
By observing the ozone installation's operation several years after start-up, the design of future ozone systems can be improved and operating problems minimized. 相似文献

Lipid metabolism, inflammation, oxidative stress and endothelial function play important roles in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease (CVD), which may be affected by an imbalance in the n‐6/n‐3 polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) ratio. This study aimed to investigate the effects of the n‐6/n‐3 PUFA ratio on these cardiovascular risk factors in rats fed a high‐fat diet using plant oils as the main n‐3 PUFA source. The 1:1 and 5:1 ratio groups had significantly decreased serum levels of total cholesterol, low‐density lipoprotein cholesterol, and proinflammatory cytokines compared with the 20:1 group (p < 0.05). Additionally, the 20:1 group had significantly increased serum levels of E‐Selectin, von Willebrand factor (vWF), and numerous markers of oxidative stress compared with the other groups (p < 0.05). The 1:1 group had a significantly decreased lipid peroxide level compared with the other groups (p < 0.05). Serum levels of malondialdehyde, reactive oxygen species and vWF tended to increase with n‐6/n‐3 PUFA ratios increasing from 5:1 to 20:1. We demonstrated that low n‐6/n‐3 PUFA ratio (1:1 and 5:1) had a beneficial effect on cardiovascular risk factors by enhancing favorable lipid profiles, having anti‐inflammatory and anti‐oxidative stress effects, and improving endothelial function. A high n‐6/n‐3 PUFA ratio (20:1) had adverse effects. Our results indicated that low n‐6/n‐3 PUFA ratios exerted beneficial cardiovascular effects, suggesting that plant oils could be used as a source of n‐3 fatty acids to prevent CVD. They also suggested that we should be aware of possible adverse effects from excessive n‐3 PUFA. 相似文献

Artificial light source for indoor cultivation has been vastly impeded by the lack of high far red emitting phosphors. Recently, Mn4+ activated phosphors were reported to be promising luminescent materials to solve above matter. In this study, controllable design of Ca14Al10Zn6O35:0.15Mn4+ (CAZO:0.15Mn4+) far red emitting phosphors was realized via pH assisted hydrothermal approach. The pure CAZO:0.15Mn4+ phosphors were obtained merely when the reaction pH was 1 or 2. Meanwhile, by adjusting the pH value of the reaction solution, far red emission CAZO:0.15Mn4+ phosphors with grains, sphere-like as well as aggregated bulk particles can be achieved at pH =?4, pH =?6 and pH =?10, respectively. Furthermore, the structures and morphologies depended photoluminescence (PL) performances of CAZO:0.15Mn4+ were checked. The best PL performance was found for the phosphor produced at pH =?6, while over acidic or alkaline conditions would lower the emission intensity. In addition, this phosphor also exhibit good thermal resistance which can maintain 78% initial intensity at 150?°C. The practical indoor tobacco cultivation demonstrated that CAZO:0.15Mn4+ obtained through this pH adjusted hydrothermal route is a promising phosphor for indoor plant growth lighting. 相似文献
