The paper is mainly to explore the automated music composition experiences for the students in the high grades of elementary school who are unfamiliar with the professional music theory. The proposed Automated Composition for Music Education (ACME) software was developed to help the students to compose the rhythm and melody themselves, while chord configuration and arrangement are automatically generated. Subsequently, sixth-year students of a non-experimental school were recruited to use the software for the completion of its development. Analysis of learning effectiveness at the reaction level, analysis of learning-level learning effectiveness, correlation analysis of the reaction- and learning-levels learning effectiveness has been performed with a significant result. The correlations between each component of learning effectiveness at the reaction and learning levels were also found. Finally the students in the experimental group using the ACME teaching materials showed a better learning effectiveness at both reaction level and learning level, than those of the students in the comparison group. 相似文献

The European Macroseismic Scale 1998 – (EMS 98) is an instrument for the natural hazard of earthquakes, which allows the explanation of observed differences in the behaviour of the prevailing construction types by introducing and implementing vulnerability classes. The EMS 98 enables also the identification of purely empirically justified ranges of scatter. The basic methodology is also applicable to other natural hazards such as flood, tsunami and wind. This permits the development of a unified methodology for the consideration of building vulnerability in the sense of a multi‐hazard approach. For the first time, a vulnerability‐oriented instrument is available to evaluate a building stock for different natural hazards according to criteria that have been standardised in terms of engineering. The multi‐hazard vulnerability with its possible scatters is examined and visualized on real building inventories. With the concept of ”LEGOisation“ the existing buildings, a novel approach is presented to allow the sub‐structuring of buildings into storeys (including roof, basement and floors) to further development of the classification towards specific damage characteristics and local vulnerability. A still to be developed ”Conceptual Simulation Tool“ is described as an outlook. In flat glass manufacturing, glass products of various dimensions are cut from a glass ribbon that runs continuously on a conveyor belt. Placement of glass products on the glass ribbon is restricted by the defects of varying severity located on the ribbon as well as the quality grades of the products to be cut. In addition to cutting products, a common practice is to remove defective parts of the glass ribbon as scrap glass. As the glass ribbon moves continuously, cutting decisions need to be made within seconds, which makes this online problem very challenging. A simplifying assumption is to limit scrap cuts to those made immediately behind a defect (a cut-behind-fault or CBF). We propose an online algorithm for the glass cutting problem that solves a series of static cutting problems over a rolling horizon. We solve the static problem using two methods: a dynamic programming algorithm (DP) that utilises the CBF assumption and a mixed integer programming (MIP) formulation with no CBF restriction. While both methods improve the process yield substantially, the results indicate that MIP significantly outperforms DP, which suggests that the computational benefit of the CBF assumption comes at a cost of inferior solution quality. 相似文献
