Gold Medal Award for life achievement in the science of psychology.

The 2001 Gold Medal Award for Life Achievement in the Science of Psychology was awarded to R. Duncan Luce. He was cited for distinguished and influential mathematical modeling in the behavioral and social sciences. His noteworthy contributions include the concept of semiorders; choice axiom; conjoint measurement; axiomatic measurement with application to psychology, modeling response time, and generalizations of physical dimensional analysis. 全日制艺术硕士研究生创作实践能力培养探析——以华中科技大学艺术硕士研究生培养为例

文章以华中科技大学全日制艺术硕士研究生培养为例,从艺术硕士专业研究生教育的发展进程、特色构建与保障措施等方面,对全日制艺术硕士研究生创作实践能力培养进行阐述,以期对综合性大学培养高层次、应用型艺术硕士研究生教学改革与培养模式的建构起到促进作用。     

Carbon Nanotubes and Nanohorn Hybrid Composite Buckypaper as Microporous Layer for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell

In the present work, carbon nanotubes (CNT) and CNT‐carbon nanohorns (CNH) (0, 30, 50, 70 and 100 wt.% CNH) composite Buckypapers (BPs) were fabricated using vacuum filtration technique. Structure and property relation of composite BPs were studied using scanning electron microscope, four probe technique, BET surface area and contact angle measurements. Properties such as electrical conductivity, hydrophobic nature and microstructure of CNT‐30 wt.% CNH composite BP are superior to other composite BP. Hence, CNT‐30 wt.% CNH composite BP is chosen as a microporous layer (MPL) for PEMFCs and tested in fuel cell testing fixture. Polarization studies reveal that the cells performance with composite BPs is comparable with SGL‐MPL based cell. Hydrogen pumping and polarization studies of the cells confirms that composite BPs act as a good MPL at anode as well as cathode at 0.4 to 0.8 V. Hence, CNT‐CNH composite BPs are potential candidates for PEMFC applications.     

从整体的地景综合到跨学科的地景管理

"地景"一词的内涵是很丰富的,且这个概念本身即蕴含着一种固有的整体观。早在文艺复兴时期,欧洲就已经产生了若干种相异的安排和布置地景的方式,不同的方式运用着不同的观念和方法。我们可以将其划分为三类,第一是自然科学,其中地景生态学起着主导作用;第二是人文科学,其中多运用历史地理、历史生态学、人文主义和符号学等手法的途径;第三是应用科学,主要是指地景设计、建筑设计与规划领域。每一分类都有助于人们深入理解地景。本文对不同类别的地景研究进行比较,但直到目前它们也还没有形成共同的观念、相同的目标和统一的描述语言,至于如何在"跨学科"的地景科学的框架下实现具有创造力的综合创新也就更无法明确。但必须明确的是,对于地景,无论是管理还是规划,我们面对的都是一块相同的土地,是面对同一对象来解决各种各样的问题。那么,这个过程就必须采取综合的方法,就不可避免地要进行跨学科的合作。     

食品科学与工程专业生物化学实验教学改革与探索

文章主要针对食品科学与工程专业本科生物化学实验课进行改革。加强实验室建设和规范化管理,对生物化学实验课程及其教学内容进行改革,改革了考核和评价方法,实验考核内容包括实验预习报告、实验表现、实验报告、期末技能操作和理论考试等,根据实际情况,确定各项的分成绩。通过改革提高了教学质量和效果。     

关于互联网科普的若干问题——以中国数字科技馆一期工程为例

结合中国数字科技馆一期工程建设的实践,提出了关于互联网科普的界定、互联网科普的特性与特点、互联网科普的进展和目前存在的一些共性的问题,提出在互联网科普的建设中应该参照国家有关出版法律法规加强质量控制。注意加强原创性和信息更新,加强著作权保护意识,加强技术创新等观点。     

五四时期《科学》广告的科学传播功能

五四时期,以《科学》为代表的科技期刊有力地推动了科学知识的传播与科学意识的启蒙。作为科技传播的形武之一,《科学》杂志的广告在科技传播的过程中也发挥了积极的作用。通过统计、分析五四时期《科学》的广告,提出五四时期《科学》杂志的广告通过搭建“传受平台”而间接发挥其建构功能的观点;同时探讨了《科学》广告传播科学知识与培养科学意识的两大功能。     

卷烟工业企业科技管理探讨

介绍了科技管理的概念和功能 ,并依据科技管理应遵循的原则 ,分析了卷烟工业企业科技管理的特性 ,探讨了企业技术中心战略、团队建设、激励机制等问题。提出了企业技术中心的管理思路 ,建议卷烟工业企业建立以战略为导向、以项目为纽带、以激励为保障的提倡团队协作且适合烟草科研规律和企业实际的科技管理体制。     

Activity of a melimine derived peptide Mel4 against Stenotrophomonas,Delftia, Elizabethkingia,Burkholderia and biocompatibility as a contact lens coating

Purpose

To determine the antimicrobial activity of the melimine derived peptide Mel4 against Delftia, Stenotrophomonas, Elizabethkingia, Burkholderia and to investigate biocompatibility of Mel4 as an antimicrobial coating on contact lenses in animals and humans.
