Two tetracarboxylic dianhydrides with polyalicyclic structure, bicyclo[2.2.2]octane-2-endo, 3-endo, 5-exo, 6-exo-2,3:5,6-dianhydride (5a) and the all-exo isomer (5b), were synthesized in six steps using phthalic acid as a starting material. The dianhydrides were polymerized at 85–105°C in well-purified DMAc with aromatic diamines which were purified by two recrystallizations and then sublimation. The polyimides formed flexible and tough films, and were soluble in aprotic polar solvents such as DMAc. The 5%-weight loss temperatures were over 450°C. The polyimides possessed glass-transition temperatures in the range from 211 to 385°C. The polyimides films had a tensile modulus range of 1.5–2.6 GPa, a tensile strength range of 52–96 MPa, and an elongation range at break of 3–11%. The polyimide films showed cutoffs at wavelengths shorter than 320 nm and were entirely colorless. The colorlessness of the polyimide films was maintained up to 200°C when heated in air and to 400°C in a N2 atmosphere. 相似文献

At two phosphate (P) responsive sites in hill country the effectiveness of Sechura phosphate rock (SPR) as a direct application P fertilizer for permanent pasture was evaluated. Sechura was applied at two rates, in three different application strategies. The treatments were 16.7 and 50 kgP ha–1 annually, 25 and 75 kgP ha–1 biennially, and 50 and 150 kgP ha–1 triennially giving a total of 50 and 150 kgP ha–1, respectively, over three years. Single superphosphate (SSP) served as the standard P fertilizer. A comparison was also made between SPR and Chatham Rise phosphorite (CRP), another reactive PR. Total pasture and legume production and P uptake by pasture was measured with all fertilizer treatments over a three year period.In the year of application, SPR was as effective as SSP in stimulating total pasture and legume production and P uptake by pasture. This reflects the very reactive nature of this PR. In the second and third years of measurement, SPR did not show superior residual efffects to SSP. The ability of CRP to stimulate legume growth more than SPR in the second year following application demonstrates the danger of generalizing about the residual effects of reactive PR materials. Of the application strategies evaluated, a biennial appplication of 25 kgP ha–1 as SPR maintained legume growth at a higher level than a smaller (16.7 kgP ha–1) annual dressing. The biennial strategy also increased total pasture yield, in addition to legume production to a greater extent in the second and third years than a single (50 kgP ha–1) triennial application. 相似文献

Single superphosphate was incubated for six months at 25°C in soil which had been subject to one of three moisture treatments. These were: dried in a glasshouse, dried at a constant temperature of 25°C, or moist soil. Phosphorus (P) effectiveness was then compared with effectiveness of P from freshly-applied superphosphate using yields of wheat (Triticum aestivum) and triticale (×Triticosecale) tops in pot experiments.Incubation in soil which had been dried at 25°C did not decrease the effectiveness of the P. Incubation in moist soil decreased it to about 20% of the effectiveness of freshly-applied P in one case and to about 50% in the other case. Incubation in soil which had been dried in a glasshouse also decreased its effectiveness. The decrease varied with conditions, but in two cases the P was 70% as effective as freshly-applied P, and in one case only 45% as effective. Presumably sufficient moisture was present in the soil dried in the glasshouse to enable water-soluble P present in the fertilizer to react with the soil. 相似文献

Our earlier paper (Jana, S.C.; Prieto, A. J Appl Polym Sci 2002, 86, 2159) on the development of natural fiber composites of high‐performance thermoplastic polymers described a new methodology for the manufacturing of composite materials of a high‐temperature thermoplastic polymer, poly(phenylene ether) (PPE) and wood flour, a cellulosic natural filler. A thermosetting epoxy, used as a reactive solvent, reduced the processing temperature of PPE/epoxy blends to well below the decomposition temperature of natural fillers. In addition, the epoxy component, upon polymerization, formed coating layers around the filler particles to provide resistance against moisture diffusion and attacks by acids and alkali. This article describes the results of an investigation on two outstanding issues: (1) the influence of cellulosic wood particles and coupling agents on the speed of epoxy curing and reaction‐induced phase separation and (2) the effects of coupling agents on the morphology of crosslinked epoxy at the surfaces of natural fillers and mechanical properties of the composites. It was found that wood particles expedited epoxy curing in the composites; the extent of epoxy curing, however, was reduced in the presence of coupling agents. Also, the coupling agents promoted complete coverage of wood flour particles by polymerized epoxy, although the mechanical properties deteriorated over systems without coupling agents. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 以4,4′-二苯基甲烷二异氰酸酯(MDI)为反应增容剂,采用熔融共混法制备了不同MDI含量的聚乳酸/热塑性聚氨酯(PLA/TPU)共混物,采用傅里叶变换红外光谱仪(FTIR)、万能试验机、冲击试验机、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、差示扫描量热仪(DSC)和旋转流变仪对共混物力学性能、微观形态、热性能和流变性能进行了研究。结果表明:MDI可以有效改善共混物的力学性能,当MDI质量分数为1%时,共混物力学性能最佳,缺口冲击强度为40.0kJ/m2,断裂伸长率为214.1%,与未加MDI的共混物相比,分别增加了4.3倍和5.8倍,拉伸强度稍有下降(47.6MPa);SEM表明,MDI的加入提高了共混物的相容性,加入MDI后,共混物的断面由海-岛结构变为核-壳包覆结构,相界面作用力增强;DSC测试表明,共混物的玻璃化转变温度、冷结晶温度和熔融温度随着MDI含量的增加而升高;流变测试表明,MDI质量分数的增加,共混物呈现更显著的剪切变稀行为,推测共混反应机理为:MDI质量分数的增加,体系内依次发生PLA的扩链、支化和TPU的交联。 相似文献
