It is a demanding and time-consuming task to construct the side window mechanism of a car such that the deflections along the seals are minimized. The reason for this is that the window surface S delivered by the stylist, will in general not be movable in a proper way: It is required that the surface tightly moves along the seals. Deflections will necessarily occur no matter how much effort the engineer invests. This article describes how to find a spatial motion that minimizes seal deflection for some given automobile side window surface. Necessary but acceptable modification of the stylist’s surface S is also addressed, as well as the lifting mechanism design. It is argued that our systematic approach offers considerable savings compared to the prevailing trial-and-error approach.  相似文献

Many occupations, particularly involving maintenance operations, require individuals to perform both physical tasks and mental tasks in restricted spaces. Researchers have examined physical task performance under various restrictions; however, little research has investigated the effects of restricted space on cognitive tasks. Cognitive task performance in restricted spaces presents cognitive demands (i.e. the task itself) as well as additional physical demands (e.g. awkward postures), which may adversely affect task performance or operator workload. This research focused on the effects of whole-body restrictions on cognitive task performance. An experiment was conducted that examined 9 levels of restriction created in a laboratory: an unrestricted control, 6 single whole-body restrictions at two severity levels (2 lateral, 2 sagittal and 2 vertical) and 2 multiple restrictions (sagittal/vertical, lateral/sagittal/vertical). An inspection task served as the cognitive task. Behavioural, physiological and psychophysical measures were collected and analysed to measure the operator and performance effects. Operator response differences were found among the various forms of restriction as well as the severity level of similar forms of restriction. Increasing restriction significantly affected the behavioural and physiological operator response as opposed to the cognitive response.  相似文献

A regression line relating oxygen consumption to rate of work has been calculated on 88 men from pairs of oxygen consumption and work-rate measurements at four different levels of work. A regression line has also been calculated for maximum oxygen intake against gross body weight for 338 men. From these regression lines it is possible to estimate the proportions of their maximum oxygen intakes a light and a heavy man would use in stepping on and off a 1 ft stool at 6, 12 and 24 times per minute. The slopes of the lines are such that both men would use similar proportions of their maximum oxygen intakes at each of the three rates of stepping ; the percentages are 26 per cent, 36 per cent and 55 per cent respectively.

The distribution of the gross body weights of the 338 men has been used to calculate a body weight such that 95 per cent of the men having weights above this value would have maximum oxygen intakes of 2-0 litres/min and more and therefore be capable of a moderate rate of work. A gross body weight of 132 lb is the estimate and 43 per cent of the population lie above this weight.

The ‘ tolerance ’ limits about the o.xygen consumption/gross body weights regression line are relatively narrow indicating that gros3 body weight is the major determinant in oxygen consumption when men lift their body weights against gravity. The ‘ tolerance ’ limits to maximum oxygen intake against gross body weight are wido, which suggests that the proportion of body fat influences the maximum oxygen intake value ot a given body weight.  相似文献

针对传统的直接转矩控制中存在转矩、定子磁链波动大的问题,提出了一种结合空间矢量调制的模糊神经网络直接转矩控制方法。它运用模糊神经网络得到期望的任意相位空间电压矢量,再结合空间矢量调制直接对逆变器的开关状态进行控制,以达到减小转矩、定子磁链波动的目的。最后以TMS320F240为核心搭建了一个直接转矩控制系统,通过采集实验数据,分析该直接转矩控制系统与传统的直接转矩控制系统相比磁链和转矩波动明显减少,并具良好的响应性。  相似文献

The French Revolution radically reconfigured citizens' views of both real and imagined space. This article sets out to explore this process of reconfiguration and the relationship between politics and space from the period immediately before the French Revolution in 1789 to the collapse of the Empire in 1815 and its aftermath. Although the liberties brought about by the Revolution made access to space one of its defining characteristics, the spaces of the Revolution were characterized by a diversity in which each political constituency made a space of its own choosing. Those spaces took forms as diverse as the pastoral garden, tales of devil abduction, political festivals, space travel, and hallucinatory visions of Jean-Jacques Rousseau's Switzerland. It was only when Napoléon ‘terminated’ the Revolution in 1799 that space was given a rational, homotopic shape, a shape that endured until the imperatives of the Bourbon Restoration required another configuration.  相似文献

Space-Time Coding (STC), which combines channel coding, modulation, and multiple transmit antennas, is a powerful scheme to achieve higher data rates and combat fading in wireless systems, in this paper, we propose a soil/cancellation turbo equalization scheme to suppress Co-Channel Interference (CCI) in STC systems. The simulation results show that the proposed method significantly improves the system's ability of interference suppression, while preserving the space-time structure.  相似文献
